This is for Andie24 because she is the one who thought up this prompt for a contest at New York Angels a fan board for the women of CSI NY (started by Brinchen86). SMackedHard and AIP because they are friends and for Lily Moonlight in friendship and thanks (wink). The reason it was written now is that it took me a long time to get this down on paper. The prompt was "Why is there a snow globe in your pocket?"

Outside of Stella's office, Mac sees her bent over her desk signing off on some reports. Walking in, he wraps his arms around her from behind.

"I missed you last night," he whispers huskily into her ear.

Stella smiles and snuggles deeper into his embrace until she feels something poking into her from behind.

"What is that?" She asks.

"What is what?" Mac says confused. "Oh!"

Breaking the embrace he reaches into his coat pocket and pulls out a snow globe and hands it to her.

"A snow globe? Why is there a snow globe in your pocket?"

"Happy St. Patrick's Day!"

Stella smiles and shakes it. After watching the snow settle on the little leprechaun, she places the snow globe on her desk next to her academy picture and turns toward Mac.

"And to think I thought you were just happy to see me." She whispers into his ear. Tossing him a saucy wink, she leaves the office leaving a surprised Mac in her wake.

Mac laughs. That is his love. Sugar and spice!
