The sea. She couldn't really tell much about it. Much like his eyes. Even when they were in mortal danger, he just kept calm, because they know they'll make it through.
Her gray eyes were staring out at sea, on a ferry boat, her blonde locks swaying in the breeze. Salty sea water sprayed towards the sides of the ship, gently giving her lips a salty tang. It reminded her of him.
She couldn't really deny it any longer. Even with the sound of hawaiian music blasting in the background, she could hear no sound. Even architecture wasn't that fun without him anymore. It's like, he just took every single drop of her willpower, and she really didn't mind.
It frustrated her. To think, a daughter of Athena, to fall for the son of Poseidon. She should've known better.
But she didn't.
All she wanted was for someone to break the silence. Someone to break the rut she was in. Someoneā¦
"Hey."
She felt warm hands touch hers. Looking up, she saw the same vision. The same vision of the sea.
"Hey."
She replied. He sat down, and looked at her. It was slightly unnerving.
"What?"
She asked, then he shifted his vision to the calm blue waters, probably looking for any mythical sea creatures around.
"What was it you were looking at?"
He asked. She blushed, and buried her face in her hair, trying to hide the blush. After a few minutes of silence, she answered.
"The sea."
He smiled warmly, and took her hand once more.
"Can I join you?"
"Sure."
And that was all she ever wanted.
