She watched him walk into the bar, it had surprised her that he'd even accepted the invitation to go out to have drinks with the team, he rarely did that anymore. Now as she watched him stop at the bar and order his usual she was shocked to see how at ease he was, how relaxed he seemed to be.

They had spent the last year or so tip toeing around each other, steeling glances and winking. Since Morgan had backed off, and she and Lynch were done, the flirting had all but disappeared. Until he had winked at her one day. That had been one hell of a day, they'd gone at it over the phone, cat calling and teasing. It was something that had shocked who ever was around, because he was known as the stoic boss, and they never knew who it was that was on the other line.

They'd kept their flirting to them selves and if he ever needed to put her on speaker phone she acted normal. This wasn't like it was with Morgan, this was much more. And after a year of flirting with danger… as she called it. It was time to step it up a notch. She knew how he felt and he knew how she felt, but they never crossed that line.

Looking down into her glass she could feel his eyes burning a hole in her. Looking up he was now sitting across from her talking and laughing with Rossi but stealing glances at her while he did.

"So boss man" she said and drew her straw into her mouth sucking on it very gently "Where is my favorite little man"

She could see his neck was slowly turning red. He reached up and tugged his tie loose as he answered "With Jessica they went to New York to visit family, he wont be home till next weekend"

"really" she said and sucked on her straw again "well at least you'll have some time to your self to wind down."

"yeah" he said and continued to stare at her "winding down is always good"

"Uhhhh" Prentiss said and she looked between the two of them. "you two are ridiculous! Go find a room already."

"yeah, with the way your looking at each other you might as well be having sex on the damn table" Rossi said and Morgan nodded agreeing.

"well" Penelope said and set down her cup. Standing she slid her coat on and held her hand out to Hotch. "Come one I think we have some winding down to do Sir"

Hotch grinned at her and waved good bye to the rest of the team "Yes Ma'am"
