A/N: Hello there, pleasant readers. I know what you may be thinking- "This story looks familiar, but why does only one chapter have so many reviews?" it is quite simple. The reason for that is because of the way I had written this story for the first 5 chapters. Now, this story is heavily influenced by the korean drama- Boys Over Flowers. The first 5 chapters were so much like the first episodes of the drama that I had people say I plagiarized, and looking back, I was not too happy with the chapters. So now, I am re-writing this story and hopefully it comes out better than it did before. So please, bear with me. This goes out to all new and old readers. I apologize for the inconvenience. Please enjoy.

Koden, Konoha- a small place in Japan made of 90% high class and a measly 10% everything else. Thanks to four families that rose Koden to a successful place, many other families followed the footsteps of the four families and succeeded as well. They had formed a sort of system for the rich, a president was chosen, and an era was made.

There was the young President of the Subaku family, with the help of the Uchiha's, the Hyūga's and the Inuzuka clan, they were able to build a foundation, a school for the rich. It was for the elite, for the most well-bred and the best, it was what determined a person for the rest of their life.

The contributor of the schools and police force were the Uchiha's, while for the Arts and museums were by the Hyūga families. The Theaters and the Hospitals were funded by the Subaku family and the construction of many buildings such as dance clubs and much of the property belonged to those of the Inuzuka family.

Those who were fortunate enough to be born of wealth and a privileged life would have the opportunity to be part of the Koden school system. Many say the road to the Koden school system was paved in gold- from Koden Day Care to Koden University- since those who were part of the school system would be able to be accepted everywhere and anywhere. Just getting into Koden Day Care was already a difficulty and a hassle, but in the long run, it was worth it…

That is, if you followed the rules of one F4 leader, Uchiha Sasuke- the nephew of the last Koden President and son of the recent Koden President.

His name was Shin Ryu Shun, a second year in Koden high that came from a wealthy family. He had been admitted to the school for more than three months and he knew what it meant when people were surrounding him with intense gazes on him as he reluctantly opened his locker. Peach colored hands trembled as he got the key closer and closer to the lock. He knew he was in trouble the moment he accidentally brushed shoulders against the Uchiha Prince and worse when he did not apologize. Every little mistake was added after that. The cherry on the cake was when he involuntarily came to school in civilian clothing today. He had overslept today since the night before, he had gone out with some classmates from his English/Japanese class. It was considered an insult in the school if you didn't wear the standard white button up shirt and black slacks, but also it represented total anarchy against the Princes. Only they were allowed to wear what they wanted.

He knew the minute he stepped into the school, that he was royally screwed.

His worst nightmare was sealed once he opened that locker door. He turned the key and heard the click. At the same time, he shut his eyes and swallowed the large lump in his throat. Once he opened the locker door, all he heard was loud gasps from people nearby. In front of him was a medium sized black card with a fan in the middle. The fan was colored in red and white, the Uchiha crest and the indication of everyone in the school to do what they wanted with those who received it.

"What do we have here?" deep purple colored eyes focused on the person behind him. A hand was patting his back as a tall third year continued to talk to him. "Shun, getting the Uchiha symbol, you know what that means, don't you?" The redhead only frowned and brushed the other's hand.

"Fuck off Kabuto. What, going to spread the word around the school?" Kabuto, a silver haired Koden student with his hair tied in a ponytail, pushed his round glasses up and watched as Shun made his way around him to walk away.

Kabuto only gave a very smug smirk "I don't have to, you know" the red headed second year stopped and turned to look at Kabuto with wide eyes. "Look around Shun Ryu, everyone already knows" purple eyes wandered as he saw multiple male students gathering right behind Kabuto, all of them wearing the same smirk Kabuto had.

Shun Ryu watched with wide eyes and made a mad dash somewhere safely.

Mornings were always such a hassle for Naruto Uzumaki. He was a growing 16 year old living in the border of Koden with his unmarried grandparents, Tsunade and Jiraiya, and his younger cousin, Konohamaru. To make ends meet, his grandparents owned a gentleman's club named Rasengan. It was opened for everyone, no matter the age, until 3 in the morning. He was the bar tender inRasengan, so he worked very late during the weekends. It was one of the main reasons as to why he hated Mondays so very much.

One last knot on his shoelaces and he was almost ready the leave the house. "Alright, I'm leaving Obaa-chan! Pervy-sage!" he was almost out the door when he heard his grandmother yell.

"Hold it Knucklehead! I need you to do me a favor" Naruto groaned. He knew anytime his grandmother asked him for a favor, he would instantly be involved in some weird or very dangerous situation.

"No, Obaa-chan! I have school in 15 minutes" before the blond could leave, he felt someone pull him from the back his collar "Ahk, nee, Obaa-chan! What's the big deal?!"

"Tch, you little runt! I told you to do me a favor!" Tsunade's face came dangerously close to Naruto's as she glared at her grandson. Naruto only chuckled nervously.

"That's exactly what I said Obaa-chan! Wha-what is it? Anything for you"

"That's more like it, runt" Naruto swallowed as blue eyes stared at brown eyes. "Now, I'm going to need you to deliver this coat to one of those spoiled Koden students. Little bastard left it here last night and it has his rich-ass Identification here as well as a picture of one of those fancy cars from Italy. So," Naruto was handed a black leather jacket, with small pins on the side of the collar. "Deliver this as soon as you can, and don't lose it, got it?" Naruto sighed and groaned. He picked up his skateboard and hooked it in front of his backpack

"Fine, I'll do it after school!" the blond stomped his way out the door and was only met with the questioning stare of his friend and classmate from Konoha Gakuen, Hinata Harusuji. "Hi-Hinata, what's up?" Hinata was a shy looking girl with eggplant colored hair, fair skin and beautiful opal colored eyes. Naruto always wondered if that color was her real eye color or mere contacts. At first sight, Naruto could see the faint blush on Hinata's cheeks as she bowed with a soft- "Ohayo Naruto-kun" Naruto only smiled "How was your morning? Hey did you do Genma-sensei's extra credit? I don't get it"

Hinata giggled as she watched Naruto ruffle his blond hair with one hand. She had always had a small crush on the blond ever since her kindergarten school years. Was it not recently that she befriended the overly enthusiastic blond, she would not have known how friendly and loyal Naruto was toward his friends and family. At some point, not only had she began having a small crush on him, she began to feel protective over him and help him with whatever he would need. As they made their way to their school, Hinata's eyes set on the black jacket that Naruto held. "Nani, Na-Naruto-kun, whose jacket is that?" Naruto looked down at his arm and groaned.

"This stupid jacket is from one of those stuck-up Koden students, bastard left it in Rasengan last night. Now Obaa-chan wants me to return it back to him" Hinata only smiled sympathetically as she played with her pointer fingers.

"A-Anou… there-there seems to be some Koden girls over there, if-if you'd like… I-I can tell Rōshi-sensei that you'll be a little late today" Naruto frowned and looked at the jacket. He knew for sure that if he kept it till after school, he would forget it somewhere and then it'd just be a bigger mess than he wanted it to be. He sighed and unhooked the skateboard from his backpack.

"Thanks Hinata-chan, I owe you one." Hinata smiled lightly as she watched Naruto get on his skateboard and go to the direction where Koden High/University was located.
•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•

"Where the fuck is that bastard?!"

"What do you mean you lost him?! How the hell do you lose a second year?"

"The Uchiha Prince has given us the signal to go with our plan, find him!"

He was hiding to buy himself some time. He knew that it was probably fruitless to hide from them. Everyone was after him, even the people he had class with, all of them were after him, and he was not safe from anybody. All of this was because of Sasuke Uchiha.
"He should be here somewhere!"

He heard another student yell and smash whatever object he held, against the wall. He could feel the thump vibrate against his body as he huddled himself closer in the art supply closet. He knew this would happen, he's always known the minute he was enrolled into Koden. The media hid this type of news from the public, but there was always whispers floating around, whisper that teachers had no say in. There were whispers that other students would turn a blind eye to.

It was torture for whatever target Sasuke Uchiha chose, pure malevolent bullying to that person until he or she would beg to be transferred to another school, another country or- if one believed the more crazy whispers- being taken care of by the Prince of the Yakuza, Kiba Inuzuka.

The door opened and all he felt was his heart beat erratically and at the same time stop as he stared into the eyes of one of the third years, Danzō Shimura. "Found you" he could see the wide smirk on Danzō's face as he was taken by the collar of his shirt and pulled to the direction of the bathrooms. The bathrooms were always a great place for those who wanted privacy or to not have wandering eyes on them.

"Let go of me!"

Danzō chuckled as he continued to drag the redhead by the collar. The redhead only squirmed and tried very hard to get free from the iron grip that was Danzō's hold but he knew that the third year had hands of steel. Once Shun Ryu and Danzō were in the bathroom, they were surrounded by many male Koden students. All of them were staring with wide smirks as they crackled their knuckles, the redhead only stared with wide eyes. He didn't know half of these people but that didn't seem to matter when it came to the Uchiha symbol weighing on his head.

"How 'bout we get started with our show, huh?" everyone laughed. Once Danzō let go of his collar, Shun watched as the others began to surround closer to him. Shun got up as fast as he could and tried to make way toward the exit, only to be blocked by tall second and third years. His heart sped at those staring back at him. He swallowed all the fear he had and glared at those in front of him.

"Move out of my way or I'll take on every single one of you!" all of them chuckled, the one in front of Shun- Yomi- stepped up and stared at the redhead with a dangerous glint in his eyes.

"We'd like to see you try, you little piece of shit" Shun's glare intensified. Before anyone knew it, there was a scream, the sound of a hard impact and a grunt as someone dropped to the floor.

The way to the Koden campus was a very far distance from where Naruto lived. By the time his class started, Naruto was only halfway to Koden. He heard of the campus being a very prestigious and elite school for the rich, therefor, he wasn't all that surprised to find many teens his age driving around in Porches, Martins, Audi's and Bentley's and wearing the Koden uniform. Being a student of Konoha Gakuen, he was skateboarding in his own navy blue gakuran. Unlike the others who wore white shirts with black slacks, he was wearing his navy blue standing collar buttoning down with the school emblem on the buttons and the same colored slacks. If he were to take off the standing collar, he would not be wearing the white buttoned shirt that the Koden students wore; but a light blue buttoned shirt.

Once he was finally at the campus, he looked around and was at a loss of words. There was no security guard by the doors, but he did see that people got around by swiping their ID through small machines by the doors. "How am I going to find..." Naruto rummaged through the coat and found the person's wallet and looked inside. The ID read Shin Ryu Shun, age 16, Class 2-A. "Shun, huh?" Naruto sighed and looked at the sky with troubled eyes. "Guy leaves his coat at the club and out of all the schools in Japan, he has to go to the one with the biggest campus of all Japan. Asshole better praise me after this" Naruto began his walk as he took out the ID and shoved the black wallet back into the coat pocket. "Might as well use his ID to get around this gigantic campus"

Blue eyes wandered back and forth as girls in plaid skirts and in white and blue sailor tops walked past him and giggled to themselves. Naruto watched with slight wonder as to why he didn't see many male students as other girls passed by showing off their very expensive jewelry and hair accessories.

"You heard about Shin Ryu Shun?"

"If you ask me, he had it coming. I mean, who disrespects the Uchiha Prince like that?"

"You kidding me? That guy thought himself better than all of us just because he's top of our class!"

Naruto followed the two that were talking of Shin Ryu without even knowing where he was going. He didn't even bother to listen to the rest of their conversation as he was led to the quad of the campus. He noticed there was more students conversing with one another and even studying or eating with friends. Naruto was both envious and quite awed at the scenery in front of him. "This school is bigger than mine. The hell is wrong with this picture?!" Blue eyes watched as Koden students passed by him and stared at him with confused and intrigued expressions.

The faces didn't bother him much, being one of the few that was Japanese and of American descent, his hair was not the average Asian sleek black, but rather blond and very unruly. Being blond and on top, having three deep scars on his cheeks made people look at him strangely. He didn't mind it, in fact, he loved to bask in the attention. He thought it was what made him different from everyone else, and he always liked different.

Blue eyes scanned the quad as he looked for Shin Ryu. He even looked back at the ID to familiarize himself with the face. He now knew he had to look for a redheaded teen with peach skin and purple eyes, but still found no one with the resemblance. He sighed once more as his hand reached to brush away his golden bangs. How was it that he could not find this one kid?

"Kami-sama! Is that who I think it is?!"

"No way! Look!"

"Ha! Told you he'd crack!"

People began to point and yell as they walked closer toward the school. Their gazes were locked to the rooftop of the school. Naruto's blue eyes followed and saw a small figure on top of the rooftop.

"Can you believe this?"

"Tch! Who does he think he is? Some kind of celebrity?"

"Least he lasted longer than the last"

"Heh, you kidding me? He only lasted two hours after the Uchiha card!"

"But before that he must have endured a whole month. Hell, I even heard that he was targeted during Golden Week."

"Had it coming, if you tell me." Naruto only continued to listen to the conversation between a tall brunette and a teen with- what seemed like- silver colored hair. His blue eyes focused again on the tiny figure on the roof. The figure was on the edge, very close to the edge. He frowned as a gut wrenching feeling began to settle in the pit of his stomach. "Shin Ryu, do you think he'll actually jump?"

"That's Shin Ryu up there?!" Naruto had yelled out the words before he even thought about it. The two teens focused their eyes on him with equal confused expressions. "Why isn't anyone up there helping him?"

One of the teens- the one with silver hair and dark purple eyes- sneered and walked even closer toward the blond. "Help him?" the teen laughed, his friend followed seconds later "No one's going to help him! The guy got an Uchiha card from the Prince, you don't defy the Prince. You tell me, he should just jump already!" Naruto only looked at the teen in front of him with wide eyes. Where these guys serious? They'd live with the fact that one of their classmate's would die?!

Naruto only shook his head and pushed the teen away from him. There was no way he was going to let some innocent person die, not when he could stop it!

He was tired, his legs were moving without much thought and his mind was too hazy for him to comprehend. He couldn't remember what made him do this for the life of him. He just wanted the beatings to stop, he wanted everything to end once and for all. He was already done with all this, he just couldn't take it anymore. His eyes were swollen, or was it his cheeks? He was sure that he had some broken bones considering it was hard for him to breathe where one of the second year students hit him with a bat. His breathing was ragged and weak, he was limping badly as blood ran from his ear and down.

He wondered, as he climbed the stairs one by one, would anyone miss him? Would anyone in this forsaken hell hole ever care that someone like him died? Would anyone actually know?

Probably not.

The media always censored the bullying that took place at Koden High/University. Certainly, the president would hide anything that involved one of his two sons. No one would believe him anyway. Why would they?

His eyes lowered and all he saw were the student's down below, pointing at him and taking pictures. Yes, let them take pictures, let the world know that Sasuke Uchiha and the other three Princes were not what the media made them out to be- gods in pedestals, untouchables. He wanted the world to know that this school was not the elite and prestigious school everyone made it out to be, it was hell and Beelzebub was here in the form of one Sasuke Uchiha. "Everyone must know what is going on here. They must all know the true nature of the Uchiha's." he felt himself lose some kind of footing and saw as small pieces of gravel fell down below.

"C'mon and jump already you coward!"

"Be a man! Take the extra step!"

He could laugh in a cynical manner at how little his classmates cared whether he lived or died. They wanted him dead, to end his life and not caring what the consequences were. Why would they, when their parents could just help them out. He clenched his fist and looked at the scenery in front of him, he looked at the clear blue sky and felt the warmth of the sun's rays. If he closed his eyes and only listened, he could hear the sound of birds singing, the sound of the school bell ringing- indicating for the start of class.

Could he really take the extra step? What else did he need to live for? His parents were never home and his brother was currently out of the country. Of course his brother would be upset, but he'd probably move on- everyone eventually did. All he needed to do was just close his eyes and take that extra step. It'll feel as if he was bungee jumping, he'd done it many times before in the summer, it wouldn't be that hard.

Shin closed his eyes and only focused on the rhythm of his heart, doki, doki*. He could hear the gravel against his shoes as he moved his legs a little. Doki, doki, doki. He took a deep breath and exhaled as his mind took him back to a small memory of the last time he had spent it with his brother. Doki… Doki… Doki. A smile broke through and a small tear ran down. His leg stretched out, he was going to do this. Doki… Doki… Doki…

"Teishi!*"

The sound of the voice made Shin stop, made everything around him stop entirely. His eyes opened and looked down once more. His eyes widened slightly as he finally realized just how high up he was, he did not move. He was frozen with fear.

"Ar-Are you Shin Ryu Shun?" the voice that had called out to him to stop brought him back from his fright. The redhead blinked and turned to where the voice was coming from. Behind him he saw a blond.

Blond? His eyes took in the stranger. He had ruffled blond hair and the clearest baby blue's he could imagine. He was tan skinned with three deep scars across his face on each cheek. He seemed rather short and lithe. By looking at the blonde's uniform, he could easily tell that he was not from Koden. He was breathing as if he was out of breath and his eyes verified concern.

"You don't have to do this!" he still continued to look at the blond without letting out a syllable. It fascinated him at seeing this blond person. Was he American? "Just… come towards me and… We-we can talk about it." Shin was in a trance, seeing the blond move his mouth as he talked and not really hearing anything that came out. Shin saw that the blond was still rambling on, he only sighed and stared at the gravel underneath him with saddened eyes.

"You… you don't know me… Why do you care?" he did not see the curiosity in the blonde's face as he skewed his head in question. "No one here ever cares." Shin stopped and finally gave a dark laugh. It seemed funny, now that he thought about it. Everyone in this school could give what happened to anyone, everyone was your friend and at the same time, they were your enemy- all trying hard to survive, looking out just for themselves. "This world is filled with hatred and misery. What's the point of continuing this torture if no one will help me out?"

"You're wrong!" Purple eyes widened and looked at determined blue. The blond was glaring at him and it made Shin wondered why this blond seemed to even care. "I won't let you do this, I can help you get through this."

Shin stared at the blond with inquired eyes, unable to understand why this stranger cared so much. "Who… Who are you?"

It seemed the blond was taken aback by the sudden question. After a moment's hesitation, the blond teen merely gave a wide smile and pointed at himself with his thumb. "I'm Naruto, Naruto Uzumaki." A small smile crept on the redhead's lips as he watched Naruto's manner of introduction. Eventually Naruto's expression changed to one of sheepishness as he rubbed at his neck and a slight rouge color adorned his cheeks. "Uhh, you were supposed to laugh." Shin's smile maintained.

"This is the worst way to meet someone like you. You're very strange."

Naruto gave a half-smile as he remained to look at the tall redhead with concerned eyes. "Then, step away and we can introduce each other in a different manner. We can become friends, I can help you out, we can-"

"No. No one can stand up against the Uchiha Prince" Naruto blinked repeatedly.

"U-Uchiha Prince? Who's that?"

"COME ON SHUN! DIE ALREADY!"

"LOOK AT HIM, WHAT A COWARD!"

"IF YOU DON'T DIE, THEN THE UCHIHA PRINCE WILL DO IT HIMSELF!"

Shin Ryu looked down at the crowd below him only to frown as he saw many of his male classmates yell at him with a wicked amusement in their eyes. He looked back at the blond and spoke once more, however, this time, the tone of his voice was nonchalant, almost robotic. "He rules this school like his own playground. He is the devil's son incarnated and he cannot be stopped."

"You can't let him do this! It's people like him that think they can do whatever they want. Don't let him win by doing this!" Shin scoffed and looked up heavenward.

"He's already won, Naruto. Whatever he wants, he gets. There is no point in fighting." Shin looked back down and felt his heart squeeze tight. "Might as well just end it now." Shin closed his eyes and finally took that extra step.

Naruto watched with wide eyes. He felt his heart go up his throat and without even thinking for a second, his legs moved as fast as they could. It was a miracle that he was able to get hold of Shin's clothing. He had been able to grab him from the shoulders. He was thankful.

Two weeks passed and the whispers that were once rumors, became full on stories that were told everywhere. By the end of the first week, everyone knew who Naruto Uzumaki was. Everyone at Konoha Gakuen would stare and look at the blond with awe as he passed alongside Hinata and Rock Lee.

"That's Uzumaki."

"Wah, sugoi!* Did he really save someone?"

"Tch, him? I think he pushed him!"

"What was he even doing there?"

By the second week, he was all over the news and was the main reason as to why there was a rebellion between parents and Koden High/University. The truth of the torture in the school was out and parents were enraged that their children had to endure this for many years.

"They're calling you "Koden's Number one Hero"." A slim teen with sunglasses commented. His voice was low and cool.

"More like "Number one Idiot"."

Naruto glared at the comment, the other only smirked and raised a brow. "Don't be jealous, Nara. Just because I'm famous, it doesn't give you the right to say that" Shikamaru Nara, a tall teen with a tired expression permanently on his face and a spiky ponytail, only smirked.

Naruto and his friends were outside, underneath a blossoming tree. It was their lunch period and they always enjoyed being outside- away from the loud chattering in the cafeteria. Under the tree there was Naruto, Hinata, Shikamaru, Rock Lee, Shino Abrume and Chouji Akamichi. Rock Lee was a very tall, very lithe teen all in green. His hair was bowl-cut and his eyebrows were like two large, black fuzzy caterpillars. Chouji Akamichi was a robust teen with wild light brown hair and had very chubby, red cheeks- always eating a bag of chips.

"I-I think it's quite amazing. Na-Naruto-kun did… he saved a life after all" Naruto's smile broadened as he looked at Hinata. The female reluctantly looked away with a rouge color on her cheeks, it only resulted in a hand on her shoulder by Shikamaru Nara.

"Don't feed the idiot's ego, Hinata. His head is already too big" Naruto scowled at Shikamaru, Hinata only giggled slightly.

"Yosh! I think it's amazing what Naruto-kun did! He did what a hero would do! So wonderful and full of youth!" everyone looked at Rock Lee and could practically see the fire burning in Lee's eyes. Naruto and Hinata gave forced smiles, Shikamaru and Shino only shook their head, Chouji simply continued to munch away.

"Koden is a dangerous school." Observed Shino as he watched the grass with an intense concentration.

"And to think that Shika wanted to be admitted to that school" Shikamaru only tensed as he heard Chouji's muffled words.

"What was it that the kid called him, I wonder?"

"The Uchiha Prince." Naruto's answer came out through clenched teeth. All Naruto needed to do was think of Shin Ryu's petrified gaze and all he could feel was anger at how that "Uchiha Prince" could run the school. "I swear, if I ever meet that jerk, I will not back down, believe it!"

The ringing of phones was the only thing that could be perceived. There was no stopping the sound and every time the phone was answered there was only more questions asked, more lies to use. He was already at the end of his patience and there were just so many questions he could answer before he snapped.

There was a knock at his door. Cold onyx eyes shifted from the magazine in front of him, to the door. He grunted a low "Come in" and was met with dusky eyes. The man in front of him wore a black medicinal mask made out of cloth. His hair was styled upward, a silver like color. The man's name was Hatake Kakashi, a very reliable man who could do the impossible. The man before him bowed.

"I apologize president, the news reporters are frantic, but we're trying our best-"

There was a dark mocking chuckle and a glare directed toward Kakashi. "Your best? Your best isn't good enough! There are phones ringing left and right, demanding change- answers. As my right hand man, you and your team are here to keep this from happening! Please, enlighten me, how is this your best?!" Kakashi bowed once more, much lower this time.

"My sincerest apologies, sir. It seems that the boy was merely returning a coat and seemed to witness the event that was taking place."

"Because of that boy, the Uchiha name is out in the open, giving a bad image to our family! Do you know how hard my brother worked for Sasuke's actions to be kept a secret?!" Kakashi said nothing as dark colored eyes kept looking at cold ones. The dark haired man only sighed as he rubbed his forehead. "I want this fixed, or the public will start a riot." The man looked down at the magazine in front of him, it demonstrated a picture of a young blond with a school uniform. He was smiling in a skittish manner, his hand on the back of his neck. The man glowered intensely and slammed his hand on the desk. "I want this boy to take responsibility of this problem!" just at that moment, the phone rang. The man glared at the phone but picked it up seconds later, answering in a much lighter tone. "Moshi-Moshi, Fugaku Uchiha speaking. Ah, prime minister, yes, quite the rumor. Yes, the events are turning to be quite entertaining…"

Work had truly become a hassle once he became famous. Paparazzi and newscasters outside, asking questions that he couldn't and didn't want to answer. Taking pictures of him, Hinata, Lee and Gai-sensei.

Was it not for the large gates in front of Konoha Gakuen, who knows how many reporters would be roaming the halls and classrooms? He was also fortunate enough that both the Ramen shop he worked in and the school had backdoor exists that would make him unnoticeable. Naruto only sighed as he made his way through the empty streets of Konoha on his skateboard. He never would have thought that he would miss the loud sounds of fast-pace music, the smell of alcohol and smoke and the sight of women dancing around.

Work wasn't too far from his house, a mere 10 minutes on his skateboard. As he rolled closer to Rasengan, something seemed to be off. The blond didn't think much of it as he entered the front door of his house, a door next to the main entrance of Rasengan, and left his shoes by the door. "Tadaima!*" there was shuffling and clattering of dishes. Naruto could swear that he could hear his grandmother laughing, did one of her poker buddies come over? "Obaa-chan? Kono? Pervy-sage?"

"The little runt is home! Come here, Knucklehead!" Naruto could feel a coiling in his gut as he walked closer to the living room. Once in the tiny living room, the blond was met with a silver haired man sitting next to his grandmother and his cousin. The man wore a medicinal mask that covered half his lower face and seemed to be smiling at him.

"Uzumaki, Naruto, I've heard so much about you! It's a pleasure to meet you, I am Hatake Kakashi." As the blond watched the man walk closer, Naruto only stood dumbfounded. Now that the man was closer, Naruto could tell that he was actually very young looking and his silver hair was a natural looking color.

"I'm… uh, what-what is this about?" the young man continued to smile at Naruto, his eyes looking like two big upside down u's. The man tilted his head in slight amusement after a couple of seconds.

"Ah, where are my manners? Hmm, I'm here to congratulate you, Naruto Uzumaki, for being accepted into our school, Koden High/University." Naruto froze. He was what?

"How… How can-" Blue eyes looked up at those that belonged to Kakashi. "Why?" the man only chuckled slightly.

"Your involvement at Koden two weeks ago was quite the news." Naruto looked away with a small expression of resentment.

"I was only returning his jacket. I'm just glad he's alright."

Interesting… Kakashi only continued to smile and placed a hand on the boy's shoulder. "It's not only your fame that interested Koden, but your achievement as an athlete."

"Athlete?"

"Onii-chan, you were a superstar during junior high!" Naruto only stared with a slight red on his cheeks.

"Koden is ready to offer you a full ride if you were to play for Koden's basketball team"

"Wh-What?" No. No! I don't want to leave my school, my friends. Obaa-chan and Pervy-sage wouldn't accept…

"Starting next week, you'll be attending Koden High/University" Naruto's head lashed to look at his grandmother. She was not looking at him at all and that's when Naruto knew that his grandparents had already accepted the scholarship before he even gave his consent.

Kakashi grinned and shook the blonde's hand. "Congratulations again Naruto Uzumaki, Koden hopes to have you there. Good luck." The man passed Naruto and made his way out. Naruto merely continued to stand in place, flabbergasted at the event that just took place. All that ran through his mind was the word Koden as well as the way Shin Ryu looked moments before he had jumped.

"He's already won, Naruto. Whatever he wants, he gets. There is no point in fighting. Might as well just end it now."

"I swear, if I ever meet that fucker, I will not back down, believe it!"

"Naruto, I know it's a lot asking this, but why not consider going to that school? We won't have to pay it and you'll be in a top school. It's what your parents would have wanted for you." Naruto looked up and saw his grandfather, Jiraiya, smiling down at him. Jiraiya was not old looking, but his hair was already white. He was tall and looked rather fit for a man in his 50's. He was a strange man, always having two red lines running down his eyes. He used to be a writer, but now, he lived the life of being manager of Rasengan.

"Chigau!* I don't want to go to that school. I have friends in Konoha I don't want to be with a bunch of stuck up rich kids."

"Baka, don't you know this is a one in a lifetime opportunity?" his grandmother was finally staring at him with a stern look in her eyes. Naruto only frowned.

"Tch, you old hag, did you not say that those rich kids just pranced around with a silver spoon in their mouths? What's so different now, huh?" Naruto glared at his grandmother, the woman breathed in deeply and glared herself.

"Who are you calling an old hag you little knucklehead?! Don't you think I know what I said? Yeah, I know that school is made up of snot nosed brats that wave their money around like little shits, but I also know that Koden is an elite school that can help you live a better lifestyle than the one you're living now. I want that for you." Naruto looked away as Tsunade's words sank in. "The school is hard to get into, even if you had the brains. Ask Shikamaru how many times he's been rejected even with his genius mind. I just want something better for you." He felt a hand on his shoulder only to see his grandfather smile at him sincerely.

"Think about it Naruto. If you don't want to, then it's fine, we just want you to think about it for now." Naruto sighed and nodded.

"And? What's the verdict in all this?"

"Truly a great opportunity for you Naruto-kun! You must take the chance and give it all you got!"

"Hmm, I… I also think you should go Na-Naruto-kun"

"Eeeh?! You too Hinata?!"

"It's best if you go, Naruto."

"Your opinion is slightly biased, Shikamaru." Shino pushed his glasses up even further, Shikamaru only frowned and sighed. He plopped himself on the soft grass and placed his arms underneath his head for support.

"Biased or not, we all know Koden is a legitimate school that opens all kinds of opportunities, especially to someone who needs it, like Naruto." All five teens turned to look at Naruto. The blond did not responded, only looked away with a frown on his face.

"I… you guys are here."

"Na-Naruto-kun…"

"I might not be well liked in this school with all these rumors spreading around, but… all five of you guys are here with me. If I go to that pompous school…" all teens stared at the blond, Naruto could feel his cheeks heat up as the staring prolonged.

"How did you figure out the definition of pompous?" Shikamaru was the first to speak, Naruto glared, however, it wasn't serious if the smile on his face had anything to do with it. Shikamaru only smiled back. "We'll still be here. It's not the end of the world, it'll do you some good to start new." Naruto looked skyward and sighed. He just couldn't shake this gut feeling.

•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•

Uncomfortable couldn't even begin to describe how he felt with this new uniform on. He had already gotten used to his old uniform and being in this new one felt constricting and tight. He had skateboarded to school since there was no other way of transportation. He had shown his identification card more than five times already in the school, the first time he came to the school, he wasn't even asked for his identification once.

It seemed that after the two weeks that he had been on the news, many things changed in this school. For one, many of the Koden seemed to know who he was if the curious stares were something to go by. It was either that or because of his blond hair and blue eyes.

"You heard? The Subaku Prince came back from visiting Yamanaka-san"

"I thought Yamanaka-san was infatuated with the Uchiha Prince"

"Shh! They'll hear you!"

Naruto heard the three teens talk as he walked behind them, trying hard to find his first class. The three teens in front of him where rather tall, one of them was the kid he had first met when he had asked for Shin. The other was a shorter teen with round glasses, unlike the one teenager with white colored hair, the teen had silver colored hair. The last teen was the taller of the two and seemed to be the most muscular. He had spiky orange colored hair, red-orange colored eyes and a calm expression.

The bleached haired one only chuckled and smiled smugly. "Ha, do you actually think that the Fugou* 4 will actually hear what we little people say?" his smile widened even more as he brushed invisible lint from his shoulder. "I've been wearing this shirt for the past two days as part of my uniform" the guy pointed at his white shirt. It was different from the other white shirts that were part of the uniform, the shirt seemed to be of a different fabric. "Only two of a kind. Of course this one belongs to yours truly and the other is being worn by the Uchiha Prince himself, hasn't said anything to me yet."

"You're asking for an early death sentence, Suigetsu" The bleached haired teen jeered.

"You kidding me? The Uchiha Prince has too many things to worry about other than me having the same shirt as him."

"You're being too cocky again Suigetsu" again the teen scoffed.

"No one asked for your opinion, Kabuto."

Naruto only gritted his teeth together as he heard the one word that triggered his anger, The Uchiha Prince. He wanted to face this person and put him in his place, teach him that he couldn't do whatever he wanted. He shook his head and headed to a different direction of the three teens in front of him. His first class, lucky for him, was gym. He wondered if there was a shortcut through the forest in front of him. Naruto could see that there was a small path leading somewhere, curiosity got the best of him as his legs led him further into the forest.

He didn't know where he was, but he continued to follow the small dirt path, as he continued to walk, he could faintly hear a certain type of sound, the sound of a violin. A violin? Naruto furrowed his brows downward as he followed the sound, followed the small dirt trail. He was let to a small resting area and was met with a redhead standing just below an oak tree playing the violin. The redhead was playing, the bow of the violin pressing against the string in a slow melodious manner.

The redhead seemed to be taller than him by an inch. His red hair was long enough to cover his eyes. A beige colored scarf was wrapped around the lower part of his face, a maroon button up shirt and a black vest. He also wore a pair of slacks and black and red converse. His skin was a light peach, dark, black rims around his eyes.

Naruto continued to stare at the redhead in front of him, admiring the way the teen in front of him played.

"I don't like an audience" Naruto jumped at the low, soft voice. His eyes widened slightly in surprise as he saw teal colored eyes look at him. The circles around him, Naruto noticed, were so black that it was hard to distinguish the redhead's thin eyebrows. He had to admit, the teen, although he wasn't pretty boy handsome, he was still good looking in a rugged way. The teen had his head tilted to the side as curiosity filled those teal eyes. "No one takes this route, why are you here? Who are you?"

Naruto swallowed as he watched the redhead walk slowly toward him. "I'm… I'm…" he panicked at the fact that he was stuttering. Never in his life had he ever stuttered. He could feel his cheeks burn as he watched the redhead look at him with a burning look. He breathed in deeply and tried hard to shake off his tension. "I'm Naruto, Naruto Uzumaki. I was passing through, looking for the sports building." As the seconds passed by, the wonder in the redhead's eyes intensified. He narrowed his eyes as he surveyed the blonde's expression.

"Are you not afraid of me?" A confused expression was sketched in his whiskered face.

"Am I supposed to be?" there was more blinking before the ends of the redhead's lips curved slightly upward.

"Just follow this dirt path and on the other side, the sports building will be in front of you. Be careful of the poison ivy on your way." Naruto smiled widely, the redhead only stared at him even more with a confused expression on his face.

"Thanks a lot." Naruto gave another smile before turning and following the path that he was told to take. Teal eyes watched as the blond left, a small smile still on his lips.

His first three classes were awkward and he felt uncomfortable with the whispers that were going around him. Either many didn't know how to whisper, or they talked loud enough for Naruto to hear. Many of the whispers were about him. "The number one hero is in our school. He saved that second year." Many of the other whispers were about the so called Uchiha Prince. "He's going to get it now, The Uchiha Prince isn't going to be happy knowing that he's here."

He could care less whether the "Uchiha Prince" was upset or not. All he thought about was his old school with his friends. What they were doing and if anyone noticed that he had left Konoha Gakuen. He sighed as he made his way outside one of the buildings and to another, leading to the library as well as a lounge for students that were used for their free class. As he reached the main entrance of the building, he noticed a large crowd, whispering to themselves in anticipation.

Naruto only furrowed his brows in confusion as he made his way up the stairs to get a better view. He wondered what was going on only to hear people gasp and whisper a couple of seconds later. The girls giggled and cheered to themselves as four figures walked closer. Naruto could not make out the figures at first, but as the four walked closer, Naruto immediately recognized the redheaded teen that was at the left end. The redhead seemed to be the shortest of the group, the tallest being an ivory skinned teen with dark navy-blue hair and black colored eyes. He gave off the impression of superiority and power. The other two were about the same height, both brunettes, however, one modeled beautiful loose brown hair that flowed down to his tailbone while the other had unruly short hair that slightly covered his brown eyes. Both brunettes were the only ones to actually pay attention to the large crowd surrounding them, the tallest one only glared at whoever seemed to look his way while the redhead's gaze seemed unfocused.

Dark eyes settled on a small group close by. Naruto's eyes wandered to the group only to see that it was Suigetsu and his other two friends. The tall dark haired teen walked closer to the bleach haired teen, Suigetsu only stared at the teen with wide eyes that expressed both awe and fear. "Mo-Morning Uchiha Prince, sir."

Naruto's eyes widened as he heard Suigetsu talk to the teen. This person that was standing in the middle of the crowd, all so haughty and arrogant, was the so called Uchiha Prince. Naruto glared as he continued to watch as the Uchiha Prince opened the flaps of Suigetsu's jacket and eyed the white button up. "Do you really think I wouldn't notice?" The teen's voice was menacing, it made Suigetsu swallow hard.

"Prince?" Suigetsu spoke softly, almost frightened to what the teen in front of him would say. Everyone continued to stare with great intent, curious how the outcome may turn out.

"I have other important things to do," the teen smirked proudly making Suigetsu frown and look at him with wide eyes. "however, I always have time to put little worms like you into place." Sasuke's eyes twinkled as his fingers took hold of Suigetsu's lapels and opened them. His smirk widened even more as he glowered at the pristine white shirt the teen wore. "Such a lovely shirt, you do know wearing a shirt such as this is seen as defiance?" his smile was still in place as he stared at the shirt, however, once his black eyes stared back at purple, the smile faded and was replaced with a scowl. "You should know what I do to those who defy me." Suigetsu swallowed hard at seeing Sasuke's glare. "Inuzuka, still have that bottle of soda?"

One of the brunettes, the one with the triangle tattoos, gave a wicked smile. His brown eyes glinted slightly as he looked between Suigetsu and Sasuke. "You want it? It's kind of warm for you to drink."

Sasuke scoffed "I don't plan on drinking it. There's another use for it that I have in mind." the brunette with short hair handed Sasuke a bottle of soda, half of its content already gone. Sasuke shook the bottle a couple of times before uncapping it. Everyone stared, yet no one uttered a word at what Sasuke was doing.

Naruto watched, shocked at what this one person was doing and yet no one was making a move to stop it. It wasn't until Sasuke raised the bottle and poured its contents on top of Suigetsu's head that his jaw dropped as the tall teen shook the bottle empty and gave it to Suigetsu, automatically holding it and nodding with a soft "My apologies Prince."

"See to it that this doesn't happen again." with that said, Sasuke walked past the teen as if nothing had happen. The other three followed behind without saying anything.

Once all four teens were out of sight, everyone dispersed and went back to their conversations. Suigetsu only earned a pat on the back by his orange haired companion and headed to what Naruto assumed was the bathroom.

Naruto only blinked in confusion. How was it that no one said anything? "Did it ever occur to anyone to say something to that arrogant ass-hat?"

"What did you say about Sasuke?" Naruto turned and was met with a pretty girl with emerald eyes.

She had bubblegum colored hair with a red headband separating her bangs. She wore the standard girl's uniform and stared at him with annoyance. He blushed slightly at seeing such a pretty girl but her expression only confused him. "You people actually let him to that? You let that asshole do all sorts of torment to innocent people?!"

"Do you even know who he is?" the pink haired girl replied, slowly showing great impatience towards him. "Sasuke Uchiha is smart, brilliant and cool and you come here to insult him?"

"Who do you think you are?" Naruto turned and was met with two more girls, one had long black hair and stared at him with crossed arms. The other was taller, her glasses reflecting the sun away. Her hair was a fiery red color, making her look even more intimidating. "Who gave you the right to talk so ill-mannered of our Prince?" Naruto backed away slightly as he was stared down by the three girl's glare.

"Why… Why would you defend someone like him? He just poured half a bottle of soda on some guy and no one did anything! Does no one see what's wrong with that?!"

"You just don't get it, do you? He's our Prince! He's Sasuke Uchiha, he can do whatever he pleases." It was the redhead that remarked back, annoyance in her voice. Naruto frowned at the way the auburn haired girl looked at him, as if he was some bug. "Why are you even here you commoner? This school is for the elite and rich, no place for someone like you."

"Cruel much, Karin?" the pink haired girl commented with slight disbelief. The one with the thick rimmed glasses, Karin, merely scoffed and rolled her eyes at the pink haired girl.

"Are you siding with this low-life now, Sakura?" her glare was focused on Sakura, making the other girl frown. "You do know that he's the one that interfered with that second year's justice." The jade eyed girl paused for a second before scowling at Naruto.

"Do what you want, Karin." Karin gave a pleasing smile as she turned to look at Naruto once more.

"We hear you bad-mouth our Prince once more, you won't just have to answer to me. Got that, low-life?" Karin made her point by pushing the blond slightly. She smiled smugly at seeing Naruto's angered expression. "Don't mess with me, commoner. Let's go Kin, Sakura." Blue eyes watched as the dark haired girl followed Karin close behind, however, Sakura hesitated for a split second as she stared at Naruto with a concerned gaze. "Sakura!" Sakura followed a second later.

As Naruto watched the three girls stride away, all he did was grit his teeth to prevent himself from bad mouthing their precious Prince. Not even half a day passed and he already hated his new school.

"Tadaima." His tone was sullen as he took off his shoes and walked his way into the small living room. The television was on, showing a random show and the only one in the room was Naruto's cousin, Konohamaru. "Kono, I thought you were staying after today." The brunette did not turn as he continued to stare at his computer screen and type away at the keyboards.

"Ha! In your face! Even with your constant spawning our team still won! You saw that Udon!" there was a slight pause before Konohamaru started laughing loudly. "Huh? Uhm, no, the gaming club was cancelled today."

Naruto sighed as he dropped his backpack and rested on the floor with a groan. He closed his eyes as the sound of Konohamaru's keyboard hitting continued.

"…ruin. Nii-chan!" Naruto opened his eyes in a startled manner as he felt someone shake him awake. He opened his eyes only to see his cousin stare down at him. Konohamaru was tall for his age, his hair- a short spiky brown color. His eyes were a coal color that he inherited from his deceased father. Konohamaru was frowning at him, his headgear still placed around his head. "Nii-chan, you're going to ruin your uniform!" Naruto groaned and covered his eyes. "Nii-chan!" Konohamaru shook Naruto once more, making the blond sit up and take off his whole uniform all together in an aggravated manner, leaving him in a wife-beater and his orange colored boxers.

"There! What's so great about the stupid uniform anyway?" Naruto flopped down on the floor once more and sighed as he mumbled words such as- "stupid arrogant jerk! Who does he think he is? Who would defend that a-hole? Stupid Sasuke Uchiha."

"EH?! You met Koden's Prince, Sasuke Uchiha?!" Naruto stared at his cousin with an expression between disgust and disbelief.

"How the hell do you know who Sasuke Uchiha is?!"

Konohamaru's eyes widened as he went to grab his laptop and began typing in a hurried manner once more. "Who doesn't know Sasuke Uchiha?! Nii-chan, his uncle is the President of Koden, and his father is vice-president. The Uchiha family is part of the police force! He's the legendary leader of the Fugou 4, the richest families and founders of Koden!" As Konohamaru pulled his laptop closer toward Naruto, blue eyes stared at the screen that displayed a picture of the same teens he saw at school.

The four teens were standing side by side. At the left end stood the short haired brunette that had been winking at all the girls in the morning. In the picture, the brunette was grinning mischievously, his triangular tattoos making him seem rebellious and daring.

"That guy right there is Kiba Inuzuka. His father is head honcho of all constructions, real estate values and most of the night clubs in Koden. Inuzuka Co. has the most loyal workers for many reasons. One of the reasons is rumored to be because of gang relations. There are whispers that the Inuzuka clan is part of the yakuza, Kiba Inuzuka is their prince. It says here that he's a gentleman toward the ladies, but you better be careful Nii-chan, when in a fight, he's like a demon, that's how he got the name "Fanged Demon"."

Naruto frowned as his eyes moved to the teen that was at the right end. The teen was about the same height as Kiba, he was the long haired brunette that had been smiling slightly at the girls in the morning. As Naruto stared at the picture, he noticed that the teenager had opal colored eyes much like Hinata.

"That's Neji Hyūga, the nephew of Hiashi Hyūga. He's said to be the prodigy of all that is arts, be it fine arts or martial arts. He's been in countless worldwide competitions involving internal style martial arts and won first place every time. Many of his sculptures and paintings have been put in art shows countless of times as well and have been sold. His uncle is the contributor of many museums, has even had a museum named after the Hyūga clan, there's word that they are relatives of the Uchiha clan.

"Which brings us to this F4 member, Gaara Uchiha." Konohamaru pointed to the small redhead that was next to Neji. He did not smile, nor did he look interested. At seeing the familiar face, Naruto's eyes only widened in slight horror as his stomach churned.

"He's-he's an Uchiha?! But… But he has red hair and-"

"It says here that he was adopted after the car crash of the Subaku family." Naruto frowned.

"Subaku?" Konohamaru shifted the computer as he began to open a new window and search for the Subaku family. Many articles opened as well as a large photo of, what Naruto assumed to be, the Subaku family. One particular article caught Naruto's attention as it read-

Fatal Car Crash leaves Subaku heirs orphan. What will become of them?

There was a picture of the crashed car, all the soot still covered the car, ambulance and police surrounding the scene. Another picture had a small brown haired child holding hands with a blond haired little girl, the bottom reading- Kankurō and Temari Subaku left orphan after the tragic death of parents and brother. The surviving heirs are left with their maternal uncle, Yashamaru to live in England. Chiyo still nowhere to be found.

As Konohamaru continued to scroll down, Naruto saw a picture of a very young brown haired woman smiling at a very small redheaded toddler. Naruto tilted his head to one side as he continued to stare at the small smiling child. He had red hair, the same color as the teen he had seen in the morning. His eyes were also the same colored teal. Naruto searched for a name, information of who the small toddler was, however, all he saw was the mother's name, Karura.

"Is it… Kono, do you think that little kid looks like Gaara Uchiha?" Konohamaru narrowed his eyes as he got closer to the screen.

"Nii-chan, you don't think…" Konohamaru didn't have to finish the question as he continued to read that, yes, Gaara had been from a rich family and had funded many theaters/music institutes and hospitals over the years, and much like the Subaku family had. Although he was an Uchiha, he did not live with the Uchiha family but had a place for himself. He would become independent when he would turn 18 in January. "Nii-chan, if that's Gaara, then that must mean that the one in the center is his brother, Sasuke Uchiha." The small brunette pointed the arrogant looking teen, the arrogant face already making his skin crawl and blood boil. "He's the son of the founder of Uchiha Corporation and the nephew of the president of Koden. He's said to be the youngest to be co-supervisor of any corporation in the world."

As Naruto listened to everything his cousin said, Naruto's eyes widened and that coiling feeling in his stomach intensified. He groaned and fell back to the floor. "I'm in the same school as thoseguys?!" Naruto groaned once more and placed his hands on his face. "I want to go back to my old school. I'm-" His only response was Konohamaru shouting as the keyboard typing began once more.

"Dead! In your face!"

Naruto groaned.

•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•

He was going back to Koden for round two, to let it be known that he never backed down on anything, at least that's what he was telling himself as he skated through the campus. His first class had been physical education and after talking to his teacher, Yamato-sensei, he was able to make an appointment to try out for Koden's basketball team. Yamato-sensei seemed to be impressed with his physical abilities.

"For the new guy, you have some skills." Naruto had heard someone tell him from behind him, as he turned, he was met with a tall brunette with short hair. He had dark chocolate colored hair, dark skin and red downward triangle tattoos. His smile was wide and canine-like. Naruto's mouth opened slightly at the teen in front of him, he was speechless once the teen extended his hand to him. "Kiba Inuzuka, nice to meet you…" Kiba paused as his eyes searched his face. After a moment, Kiba's smile returned "Whiskers."

Naruto raised a brow at the teen as his eyes went from Kiba's face to his hand. Naruto shook it with a mocking smile "Naruto Uzumaki, nice to meet you too… dog-breath." At seeing Kiba's raised brows, Naruto only felt himself smile with joy.

"Dog-breath, huh? Hmm, I kind of like you Whiskers, you're not afraid of me." Kiba gave another canine-like smirk before turning and walking off. Blue eyes only stared. Did… did he just meet another member of the F4?

After having showered and put his Koden uniform on, all he that was on his mind was the fact that he had just insulted Kiba Inuzuka, the same Kiba Inuzuka that was rumored to be the Prince of the yakuza. Kiba could contract someone for his head, especially after the nickname he gave the brunette teen. Naruto shook his head as he walked faster to his next class. He entered the building where his class was only to be surrounded by a large crowd, the same as the day before. Naruto frowned as he tried to make his way to see what was going on only to be met with Sasuke Uchiha glaring down at a first year who was on his knees.

"Please Prince, I'm on my knees! Please Prince, have mercy!" Sasuke grabbed a hold of the first year's collar and lifted him to his feet, his glare boring into the first year's scared eyes.

"You stupid little first year, I didn't tell you to apologize, I told you to crawl back to the hole you came from." Sasuke pushed the first year to the ground "Now beg, you cheeky piece of filth."

As Naruto watched the scene before him, he only clenched his hands into tight fists. He wanted to say something, to yell and put that Uchiha into his place, but as he continued to watch, his body would not move to where the first year was but away from the scene itself. He turned and ran, ran until he finally reached a door and opened it. It was not a classroom like he expected, but a small balcony that gave him a view of the whole campus.

His eyes took in the spring view of what was the Koden campus, all Naruto could do was scream, scream all that was bottled up inside him. What he couldn't do back there with the fight between Sasuke and the first year, he released it all with that one scream. How was it that he couldn't stand up for the first year? Why couldn't he go and say something?! He screamed again as loud as he could.

"I see you've found my secret sleeping spot." Naruto jumped and screamed at the sudden voice behind him. Naruto turned quickly and was stunned to see how close he was staring at teal colored eyes. It was the same redhead as the day before, a blank expression on the auburn haired teen's face.

"U-Uchiha"

The redhead blinked and tilted his head slightly before responding. "Gaara."

Naruto furrowed his brows in question before repeating the redhead's last word. "Gaara?"

The redhead nodded. "Your yelling woke me up." Naruto's cheeks warmed the longer those teal colored eyes focused on him. The more Naruto stared at Gaara, the more he noticed that this Uchiha was not a threat to him, this Uchiha was different from the other one.

"I… I didn't think anyone would be here. I'll… I'll just leave." Naruto walked past the teen only to be pulled by his arm. "U-Uchiha-san?" Naruto didn't know if it was the hand holding his arm or maybe the flick of the light, however, he swore that the end of Gaara's lips curved upward.

"It's Gaara Subaku." The redhead left without another word, leaving Naruto speechless. Yes this person was so much more different than his adopted brother.

•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•

His old school did not have a cafeteria. Konoha Gakuen was like any other school in Japan where you would eat your bento in the class you were in, or in Naruto's case, put his and his friend's bento's together to have their own mini buffet. Koden was much more different than Konoha Gakuen and it made him miss his old school even more, especially now that he was sitting all alone in the cafeteria table. Famished blue eyes looked at the food the chefs were serving, his stomach growling enough to hurt. There was seafood, steak, salads, rice, even some foods that Naruto couldn't even recognize.

His stomach growled once more, he groaned as his mind repeated- shut up. Shut up. Shut up.

"Hey, beggar, shut that stomach of yours, I can hear it from the second floor." Naruto looked up and saw crimson colored eyes. He frowned as he saw that it was the three pretty girls he saw from the day before. He could tell that Karin did not like him. Kin seemed to follow what Karin did. Sakura, however, seemed to be different from the other two. Unlike most of the students in this school, she did not look at him with disgust or hatred. "What's wrong commoner? Don't you know? That," the crimson haired teen pointed to the buffet table. "Is where you get food."

All Naruto could feel was anger at the manner the crimson haired teen talked to him. Was she really so offended when he bad mouthed Sasuke Uchiha? "I see it, what's your point?" he answered with a glare of his own, wanting the girls to leave him be. it was bad enough that his stomach was grumbling, but having the three girls in front of him made other students look his way.

Karin smirked at hearing Naruto's stomach grumble once more. "Too poor to buy food, commoner? Why not do what you do best then, beg."

The more Karin spoke and put him down because of his social class, the more he could feel anger spread through his whole body. Had Karin been a guy, Naruto would have beaten him to a pulp by now- Koden scholarship be damned. The thought of him being here on scholarship, however, made him swallow whatever anger he held and take deep breaths. "Heh, your food isn't even beg-worthy. Besides, at least I earn my money, not like you who wouldn't know the value of a dollar, spoiled princess." Karin scowled, glaring at the blond at seeing said blond smile satisfyingly. She huffed and immediately slapped him across the face before walking away in anger, Kin and Sakura following close behind.

Anyone who had been watching only mocked in unison. Whispers rapidly formed, informing the ones who didn't see what had just happened. Naruto only sat with his hand on his now reddened cheek, trying to soothe the pain. He could still feel eyes on him as the whispers continued, however it did not last long as someone yelled-

"Fugou 4!" almost in a flash, every girl had ran out of the cafeteria, silence settling just as fast.

He had not expected Karin to slap him, or the great strength she had, but at least he was now left alone. He pulled his backpack in front of him and rested his head on top of it.

"Are you alright? I saw what Karin did to you." Naruto was about to respond that it was nothing and just wanted to be alone, however, at looking up, he was met with large brown eyes. Looking at those big eyes, Naruto's words died down and heat began to run through his cheeks. The person before him was faired skinned with long dark brown hair and the prettiest smile Naruto had ever seen. This person was even prettier than Sakura. "My name is Haku Yuki, it's nice to meet you."

"Nii-Nice to meet you."

•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•

Naruto's schedule was a very hectic one. He worked during the weekends at the club till 2 in the morning. During the weekdays he went to school and would stay after for basketball practice. After basketball practice, he would run all the way to his second job as a waiter in the ramen shop, Ichiraku. He'd work till 9 and still have time to do the homework he was assigned, sleeping a total of 5 hours a day.

"YOSH! ARIGATOU-GOZAIMASU! PLEASE COME AGAIN!" Lee bowed as the couple left, Hinata shyly waved good bye and Naruto smiled at the couple. Once they left, Naruto went to the now empty table and picked up the glasses and plates. He walked back to the kitchen and placed them on the sink. Once he came back from the kitchen, Hinata stood beside him with a small smile.

"I don't think I'd ever miss my old school but I hate Koden more than I hated Konoha."

"Eh?! But, Naruto-kun, Koden is said to be the best school of all Japan!" Naruto sighed at hearing Lee's comment.

"Yeah, but I mean, everyone in that school is just so full of themselves and avoid me as if I'm some sort of disease. At least in Konoha I had you guys even with the rumors going around, but in Koden, It's just me."

"It… it can't be that bad, right Naruto-kun. You… You must have met at least one person." Hinata placed her hand on Naruto's shoulder, giving a small encouraging smile. Naruto thought about it and was instantly reminded of the pretty girl that had introduced herself to him and all Naruto could do was smile stupidly.

"There is this one girl who's the same year as me. Her name is Haku Yuki, she just transferred from Italy. She's the only one that has actually talked to me like I wasn't some scum of the earth." Hinata frowned.

"Na-Naruto-kun! Don't let that get you down! You-You never let things like that get to you!"

"Hinata-san is right Naruto-kun! You were the one that stood up for Chouji-san when he was being teased for his weight! You didn't even care when rumors started to arise of-"

"I get it, fuzzy-brows. It's just, I kind of miss you guys." All three teens were silent for a moment before Naruto spoke once more. "You think Obaa-chan will let me go back to Konoha?"

•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•

"No"

Naruto's smile fell at hearing his grandmother's answer. He stammered incoherent words as he watched his grandmother walk off to the kitchen and come back with sushi rolls. "Bu-But Obaa-chan! I hate my new school! It's full of obnoxious spoon fed rich kids! I don't belong there!" Naruto dropped to the floor and placed himself in the fetal position. He heard someone sigh and then a hand on his side.

"Naruto, I know you don't like your new school and it can be a little overwhelming."

"Overwheming!? Ojii-chan, everyone looks at me as if I'm filth!" His grandfather, Jiraiya, only frowned and kept patting his side. "I know I wasn't very liked in my old school but at least I had Hinata and Lee and Shika, Chouji, and Shino."

"Naruto, I know it's tough. Sweetie, it's only been two days, just, keep at it for a little more time, you'll learn to like this new school." Tsuande had sat down by Naruto, ruffling his blond hair.

"You don't know that Obaa-chan." The blond grumbled, the older woman only sighed.

"It's an elite school, Knucklehead, just give it a shot. You're an Uzumaki after all and Uzumaki's don't give up."

"Tsunade is right, runt, no one else gets a chance like that, you might as well take advantage of it Naruto. Just, think about it, yeah?"

Naruto only sighed as he got up and made his way to the bathroom with departing words of "I'ma head to bed." Once entering the bathroom, his blue eyes only looked at his reflection. He could see the frown on his face as well as the misery in his eyes. If he was being truthful with himself, he would admit to his grandmother and grandfather that he just didn't want to be in a school where he didn't know anyone. However, as his grandparent's words echoed in his mind, all he could think was to go back to that school and move forward with clenched teeth. "Yeah. Grit your teeth and just go on. Believe it!"

•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•

He was determined to make the best of being in this horrible place that was his new school. His uniform was still uncomfortable to him and every student he passed still stared at him as if he were the scum of the earth, but he took it. He didn't care what they said, it was time to stand up for himself if he wanted to stand up for the little guy!

"It's the F4!"

Naruto turned when hearing the voice scream. Again, many students began to run to where the F4 were coming from, this time, from the main entrance of the school. Blue eyes watched as Sasuke, Gaara, Neji and Kiba continued to walk in unison. Before they could take another step, however, a young girl with purple hair stood in front of Sasuke. She was holding a small cake decorated with strawberries and little plastic hearts, the front showing in red frosting the nameSasuke. At seeing the girl, Sasuke only frowned and blinked at the girl slowly.

"Sa-Sasuke-sempai…" the girl was faired skinned and pretty, her cheeks were slowly turning bright red, making her seem much more attractive. She was looking down but raised the small cake to show it to Sasuke. "I… I ma-made this for you!" She looked up quickly, displaying bright hazel eyes. "P-P-Please accept my heart!"

No one said a word as eyes turned to look at Sasuke, waiting for his answer. At the moment, Sasuke had not uttered a single word, had not made a move at all. It was a long time before, finally, Sasuke took the cake. His onyx eyes stared at the white and red frosting, the small plastic decorations. Slowly, a small smirk began to form. At seeing the smirk, some whispered, others gasped, the purple haired girl smiled widely at seeing her crush accept the cake and smile.

Karin had been looking open mouthed and with wide eyes. She looked furious at the scene before her. Was it not for Kin and Sakura holding Karin's arms, Naruto would bet that Karin would have attacked the purple haired girl. Naruto continued to look at Sasuke, the manner in which he was smiling- looking between the small cake he held and at the smiling female. Maybe he was wrong about Sasuke Uchiha. He judg- why wasn't he smiling anymore?

Almost in a second, Sasuke's smile fell and turned into a scowl and glare. The girl in front of him was confused, everyone was still spectating. Just as fast, Sasuke lifted the cake and shoved it to the girl's face. Naruto's mouth hung open in shock, the girl looked crushed, at the verge of crying, Neji and Kiba tried to hide their shock, Gaara merely looked away with a small frown, everyone else was silent save for Karin who was silently laughing.

"Oooh, sweetie," Karin's tone seeped with mock as she shook her head. "our Prince doesn't eat anything made from an amateur." She smiled in a scornful manner as hazel eyes stared at her crimson eyes. "Besides, he doesn't even like sweets"

Naruto could see the tears that were rolling down the girl's eyes. He felt his chest tighten and his anger rise. Just when he thought that he misjudged Sasuke, the bastard does something so heartless and unforgivable. He glared and shook his head as he continued to look at Sasuke. Was a simple no too much for him? What he did was cruel, he wanted to put that guy in his place.

"You're in my way." He continued to glare at the Uchiha, cursing his name anyway he could inside his mind.

"Hey, Whiskers." It was Kiba's voice that made him realize exactlywho Sasuke Uchiha was talking to.

"Do you have a problem with me, idiot?" noir colored eyes glared at him. The Uchiha looked smug, making Naruto clench his hands in anger.

His mind screamed harsh comments he wanted to tell the inky haired teen. He opened his mouth to tell the Uchiha off, however, his eyes settled on the redhead that was behind. Gaara only shook his head, as if warning him not to say anything. Naruto closed his mouth and grit his teeth, blue eyes glaring at the tall Uchiha. Sasuke only raised a brow in question.

"Nothing to say?"

With clenched teeth and a deep sigh, Naruto responded with a "No" Sasuke frowned instantly.

"Show me some respect. No, what?" Naruto furrowed his brows. Respect? Did he mean…? The blond teen smiled widely, it made Sasuke's frown deepened.

"No, Teme." At the rude manner of addressing Sasuke, the tall teen looked mad and yet tried in vain to hide it. Kiba had looked between slight shock and amusement. Neji and Gaara looked surprised.

Naruto was smiling widely at insulting the bastard. The angered face Sasuke was making was a bonus for the blond… that is, until he saw Sasuke grab his collar and pull him close.

At the close proximity, Naruto noticed that Sasuke's eyes were not fully black, there was a red ring around the pupils, it was faint but there. Naruto didn't pay much attention, however, as Sasuke began to talk through clenched teeth.

"Listen here, Dead-last, you might be able to talk to someone else like that, but I'm not like everyone else, got it?" Naruto struggled, trying to break free from Sasuke's grasp. Sasuke only seemed to hold tighter as a smirk slowly formed on his lips. "Perhaps I should teach you how to respect others."

"Sasuke, we should head to class." Naruto saw Sasuke frown at the interruption. The blonde's eyes shifted to see who had spoken and possibly saved his ass only to be met with lavender eyes. It was Neji Hyūga who had spoken, a small smile playing on his lips.

Sasuke continued to stare at his blue eyes, his glower still in place. "Hn." The inky haired teen let go of his collar and stared at him coolly after that. "Next time, learn how to address someone, Dobe."

Naruto merely glared at the Uchiha as he passed. Neji and Kiba followed, however, Naruto swore he heard Kiba say "Told you I liked him for a reason."

Before Gaara passed, he stared at Naruto. Naruto said nothing as teal connected with blue. Before Naruto could say anything else, Gaara only smiled slightly and left without another word.

•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•

Throughout the remainder of his day, Naruto only felt agitated. He wished he could have said something to that a-hole or at the very least punched the living snot out of the guy. So why couldn't he?

"Naruto, you got to move faster than that! Over the tires, Uzumaki, move those legs!" He was rusty from the way his new coach was yelling at him during warm-up. He been good at basketball since he was young, had even been captain of the basketball team when he was in junior high, however, during his last year of junior high, he simply quit because of rumors going around.

As he continued the intense warm-up, Naruto's mind began to drift and remember light green-blue eyes. His first encounter with Gaara had been unexpected. It was not like the encounter he had with Kiba or Sasuke or even Neji. It seemed that Gaara was different from the rest of the F4.

"Are you not afraid of me?"

Could it be that maybe that neutral expression was a façade? The thought left as fast as it came to mind. That couldn't be it. The way that the redhead looked at him was sincere, there was no malice or any scorn but interest, curiosity.

"Naruto-kun!" His blue eyes looked up and were met with big brown. Naruto smiled at seeing Haku wave at him with a wide smile. He waved back only to see that Haku was slowly blushing, her smile becoming sheepish. Naruto furrowed his brows in confusion as his hand lowered to his side and finally realizing what it was. Because of the intense warm-up that coach Yamato was making them do, Naruto took it upon himself to take off his shirt and jersey. After realizing this, the blond merely smiled nervously and continued the exercise with reddened cheeks.

"Haku-chan, what are you doing here so late?" After basketball practice, Naruto met up with Haku. She had been watching patiently from the side lines, a wide smile in place once she saw Naruto walk toward her.

"Ah! Naruto-kun, I didn't know that you were in the basketball team! That's pretty cool!" Naruto smiled at seeing Haku's amazed expression. Naruto scratched his cheek with his pointer finger, a skittish laugh escaping him.

"It's sort of the reason why I was accepted here." Her smile maintained, Naruto let out a sigh of relief, seeing that Haku did not look at him a strange way like many others would. He felt himself feel a little lighter. "C'mon, I'll buy us something to eat on campus. It's my day off after all."

Naruto liked Haku. She was different from the rest of the girl's in Koden. Maybe it was because she was a transfer or maybe it was because she didn't seem to care about popularity cliques, she stood by his side- didn't even care what people said. She was different from Koden and he liked it.

"I wouldn't think they sold ice cream here at school."

"Hmm, not so much ice cream, this is gelato."

"Eh? Gelato? What's the difference" They were now walking around the campus, not really having a destination but looking somewhere to settle down and relax. Haku smiled as she took another spoonful of the frozen dessert.

"Gelato has less fat." Naruto made a face.

"That's it?!" Haku laughed lightly and poked Naruto's arm with the end of her plastic spoon.

"Hey, that's very important for someone who's trying hard to keep their weight in check!" Naruto's face changed to disbelief.

"Are you kidding?! Why is it that girls are so preoccupied by their weight? Haku-chan, you're perfect the way you are." Naruto had taken hold of Haku's arm, turned her and held Haku's arms with both hands, his blue eyes staring directly at Haku's brown. "I like you for you." There was sincerity in Naruto's eyes, the action made Haku's mouth part slightly, her eyes wide and staring at Naruto's face. After a couple of seconds, Haku smiled slowly, her eyes becoming softer.

"Thank you, Naruto-kun." Naruto nodded and gave her arms a light squeezes for reassurance. Haku turned only for her to bump into a hard body, her gelato spilling on something black. She gasped as her eyes looked up and met dark black glaring eyes. "P-Purinsu*!"

Before Haku or Naruto knew it, Haku was being held by the collar and pulled close to Sasuke's face. "You clumsy piece of shit, do you see what you've just done?" Haku stared at the Uchiha with wide frightened eyes. The other three teens behind Sasuke merely looked away, not wanting to get involved with the hot-tempered Uchiha.

"I…I'm deeply sorry, Uchiha-Prince."

Sasuke gave a bitter laugh. "Sorry? Sorry won't cut it. Do you see this?" Sasuke let go of Haku's collar and grabbed Haku's hair instead, pulling it so that the teen would see the stain that was forming on Sasuke's black jacket. "How are you going to compensate for my jacket, you worthless shit?"

"I-I can buy you a new one! I'll-I'll buy you one just like it, the same one!" Sasuke scoffed.

"Buy me a new one? This jacket is a one of a kind Peter Nygard. How can you possibly have the money to buy me a new one?"

"Please, Prince, I'm sorry!"

"You're sorry?" Sasuke chuckled and looked away mockingly. "If something like that were to be effective in this world, there would be no reason for my family to continue as the police force." Sasuke let go of Haku's hair, making the teen fall to the ground. "I have half a mind making you clean this mess. Do you know how much this jacket cost me?"

"Hey, asshat, she said she was sorry! What more do you want?" Naruto stepped in front of Haku, glaring up at the Uchiha teen. His blue eyes gave a small color of red-orange around the pupils, it made Sasuke raise a brow.

"Hn, I told you I'd teach you to respect others, Dobe." Sasuke smirked in a cocky manner, his eyes demonstrated that red ring around his pupils. "You're new around here aren't you, usuratonkachi?"

"Yeah, what of it, kusotare*?" Sasuke's glare intensified, his arm lifting up to punch him, only to be stopped by Kiba placing his hand on his shoulder and whispering something in his ear. After Kiba finished, Sasuke's facial expression changed to one of disappointment.

"So, you're the so called hero that all these idiots have been talking about." Sasuke eyed the blond, walking around him, scrutinizing the blonde's stature. "Hn, it's a pity, I would have expected someone much taller, certainly lowered my expectations." Naruto's hands trembled with anger as he continued to listen to what the Uchiha was saying. "Tch, are you even Japanese? With that blond hair and those colored eyes?"

Naruto breathed in deeply and exhaled sharply, his hand had extended and punched the Uchiha across the face. Everyone was quiet, their eyes were wide- stunned. Sasuke on one hand had his face to one side, his eyes wide. A few seconds passed before Sasuke attuned his demeanor and glared back at Naruto. Naruto was breathing hard, his features seemed to look much sharper, animalistic. "Pity, I would have pegged you for someone with a ten foot pole up his ass but it seems you're worse."

"You little fuck." Sasuke adjusted his jaw with his hand, his eyes becoming colder. "Who do you think you are?" Sasuke was now crackling his gloved fingers, adjusting his watch- placing it on top of his knuckles. "It's time to show you some manners, dead-last."

"Sasuke." Sasuke froze at the sudden voice that had called out his name. Naruto gazed behind Sasuke and saw Gaara step forward with a hand on Sasuke's arm. "No watch, Sasuke. Look, he's obviously protecting his friend." Sasuke's glare was still in place, however, his features seemed to soften.

"Hn, Subaku, if he's so bent up on protecting his friend, being the hero that he thinks he is, he needs to learn that not everything is so nice."

"The watch is too much for something like this."

Blue eyes watched as Sasuke exhaled loudly, placing his watch back around his wrist and frowning. Next thing Naruto felt was a pounding in his head as something hard connected with his cheek. After feeling the impact, all Naruto felt was hard ground. "Do you see? The Dobe was all bark and no bite."

"Heh," Naruto laughed mockingly as he got up slowly. He could hear Haku call out his name, however, he ignored it. He stared up at the tall Uchiha, tasting blood in his mouth. "hey, Teme, what the hell was that? That punch was weak."

"Naruto-kun, please." Haku had spoken in a concerned manner, Naruto again tried to ignore her. Sasuke on the other hand, turned his stare toward her.

"How are you going to pay for my jacket, trash?"

The next thing Sasuke felt was a body on top of him. He was shocked at the sudden attack and stared up to be met with blue eyes, a ring of red-orange around the pupil. "What's wrong kusotare, don't have enough money to buy a new one?" Naruto went through his back pocket and took out what looked like a green frog coin holder. Tan hands opened the mouth and dumped the contents on Sasuke's chest. "Here have some of mine." All that fell were a couple of coins and an orange colored piece of paper.

After the shock passed, Sasuke pushed the blond away with his arm. "You idiot!"

"Got some news, Teme, I actually worked for my money, what about you?" Naruto got up from the floor, dusting away any dirt from his pants. He stood and glared down at the Uchiha. "It's not really your money if you're smooching off your parents, Teme." Naruto turned his gaze at the other three teens that had been watching silently. Kiba was smiling widely, Neji looked both stunned and amused, Gaara only stared with wide eyes. He looked back at Sasuke who looked both appalled and angry. "Stay away from me and Haku, got that Prince?" Naruto pronounced the last word with anger. The last thing Naruto did before leaving was bow mockingly.

•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•

"C'mon, Uchiha! It's been two days already! Don't tell me you're going to spend your Sunday in your room again!" The only sound that the tall teen made was grunts as his foot connected with the still dummy that was in front of him. Sasuke was dressed in a pair of blue shorts and a white wife-beater.

After his little event with that blond idiot, Sasuke was left stunned. How was it that some junior could get the upper hand on him?

He jumped kicked the head of the dummy at the thought of the blond. He needed to teach that idiot a lesson, to show him what he was capable of.

"What the hell was that idiot thinking? And you," Sasuke turned and stared at the redhead that had his arms crossed and a frown in place.

Kiba, Neji and Gaara were in Sasuke's practice room. They had come over the Uchiha household for the past two days since Sasuke was too pissed to leave the house. After his encounter with the blond, Sasuke- who would never admit it- holed himself up and pouted.

"You went and protected that idiot." Gaara stared at Sasuke with a questioning look, Sasuke only continued to glare. After a while, Gaara merely sighed.

"Sometimes you go too far for something so little."

"Too far? That piece of trash defied me. I needed to put him in place."

"Sasuke, Gaara had a point. Using your watch on that blond was going a bit too far." It was Neji who spoke, Sasuke grunted in response.

"Stop defending Subaku, Hyūga." Neji sighed and looked away.

"Dude, you're just mad because he's the first person in school brave enough to stand up to you." Sasuke scoffed bitterly at Kiba's comment. The Uchiha drank from his water bottle. There was sweat running down from his forehead and down his neck.

"You mean stupid enough. That dead-last wouldn't know brave if it bit him in the ass."

"Well, least he got the guts to throw you down."

Sasuke rolled his eyes along with a "Tch." The Uchiha grabbed his blue towel and walked out the room. The three teens stared in curiosity at the departing Uchiha and then at one another. Why was it that Sasuke was so agitated with the blond?

Sasuke couldn't answer that question himself. He was just frustrated. The first time he saw that face, it was in the newspapers. The picture was in black and white, however, he took no note of it since it wasn't important to him. The second time was when he had humiliated Suigetsu. The blond hair was the first thing his eyes caught even with the large crowd. It fascinated him at seeing that blond hair. It was not a color he was accustomed to see, the hue of blond hair was much brighter, unruly. It reminded him of the sun.

Finally, when he was close enough to see those blue eyes, Sasuke's mind had gone blank. His mind backtracked and without thinking, he insulted the blond. Those blue eyes were bright and demonstrated so much emotion, especially when he was mad.

"So, you going to mope about him?" Kiba asked right away as he had entered the game room in his home. He was met with the sight of Gaara and Neji connecting cables to play video games, Kiba was by the stereo putting music on. Sasuke said nothing as he walked to the room and perched himself on one of the red chairs that was by the stereo. He took out the small paper that had fallen out of the blonde's wallet and stared at it.

"Did you bring what I asked for?"

Kiba sighed and rubbed his temple in slight frustration. "So, not mope but obsess." The brunette teen earned a glare from Sasuke at the comment. Kiba sighed again and took a stack of papers from his bag that was thrown to the side. "It was pretty easy to get this, it's quite a read actually."

Sasuke grabbed the large stack of papers and placed it on the table. He could feel a smirk forming as his eyes read the file namedUzumaki, Naruto. "Hn. It's time to show that Dobe who he messed with."

•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•

The weekend, Naruto felt, passed by too quickly for his liking. All he had done was work all day and night, Sunday being the most difficult night of them all considering the fact that he worked very late and would have to get up earlier than usual just to reach the school grounds.

He sighed as he walked up the second floor. He needed to go to his locker to place his gym clothes inside and get his books. His first class had gone by easily, though his muscles felt sore. As he walked up the stairs, Naruto could have sworn he could hear people whisper as he passed. They stared at him longer than usual, murmuring under their breaths as they continued to spectate. Was there something on his face? Did he forget to change back to his uniform? At the question, Naruto looked down and saw that, no, it was not because of the uniform. The blond shook his head and sighed. Why was he worrying anyway? It wasn't as if he cared what they though. With that in mind, Naruto took out his locker key and opened the small door. Naruto blinked slowly at what was in front of him.

There was a gasp, then someone yelling- "Check it! Second year Uzumaki, Naruto got an Uchiha card!"

Uchiha card? Naruto stared once more at the medium sized rectangular card. It was black with a fan in the middle. The top part of the fan was colored in red while the bottom part of the fan was kept white. Naruto plucked the card from his locker and continued to stare at it, it was laminated which was difficult to crumple. He opted to just throw it on the floor. As he walked to his second class, all he heard was-

"He's ganna get it now!"

"Ha! He's not even going last a day."

He entered his second class, a class he shared with Haku, Sakura, Kin and Karin. It was a mixed English class with first, second and third years. At entering the class, everyone inside ceased their talking to stare at him. His eyes scanned the room, searching for Haku only to see that she was not in the class. His mood dulled at the sight.

"Word travels fast here, scum." Karin had spoken with a tinge of mock in her voice. Naruto said nothing as his eyes roamed the room again, searching for the presence of their English sensei. He was not present, much to Naruto's chagrin. "Did you really think you could get away with insulting my prince?" again, Naruto said nothing as he walked past Karin and to where his desk was. To put salt on the wound, Naruto found his desk vandalized with words, black and red ink all over the brown colored desk. Words he was familiar with, words he heard classmates whisper under their breaths in Konoha.

Piss Poor Uzumaki loves cock. He'd suck your dick for 300 yen a pop. Pervert. Faggot. Queer. Gay.

Naruto clenched his teeth together, his hands balled up into fists. He had been forced to attend Koden for a new start, to walk away from all the rumors that had spread in Konoha Gakuen only to be back where he started.

He always knew he was different, not only because of his appearance but because he was more open to what he felt, of what was always on his mind. It was a confusing time for him during junior high. He knew he liked girls, just like any other guy in school and yet, he still felt different. His gaze would linger a little longer in the locker rooms, the touch of an attractive person of the same gender as him would make his stomach feel funny. Sometimes, during the night, he would dream of some of his male classmates.

It had been Ginji's fault, the co-captain of the basketball team. Ginji had always hated him and once he found out that Naruto liked both sexes, he announced it to the whole school by publishing it in the school newspaper. He was different, he liked both sexes and he wasn't accepted. His friends supported him, but everyone else began to hate him.

"This is just the beginning, lowlife. I told you not to mess with Sasuke-kun." Naruto turned and glared at Karin. Sasuke? This was that bastard's fault?!

•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•

Black colored eyes read the page in front of him. He turned the page and was met with more information, the blond worked two jobs- a bartender at his grandparent's strip club and a waiter at a ramen shop. His blood type was B, donated blood every year at the local Konoha clinic. He had been captain of the basketball team and had been voted most unique in his school. Sasuke smirked as he continued to read more from the stack that was on his desk.

"What's this? Doing some light reading, Sasuke?" The young Uchiha looked up and was met with chocolate colored eyes. He glared at seeing that wide grin on Kiba's face. Kiba's smile did not falter as his eyes set on the papers that were on his desk. "Aah, so still reading up on Whiskers, hm?"

"Whiskers?" Neji entered the mostly empty classroom, seeing only Sasuke and Kiba.

"The blond with the three scars on each cheek, the one from Friday." Kiba responded with a large smile. Sasuke said nothing but glared at Kiba. Neji merely stared, he placed his bag by a table near byy and walked to where Sasuke was sitting. At seeing the large stack of papers, Neji raised a fine brow.

"Your new target, I presume. After what he did Friday, I'm not too surprised."

"Whiskers can take it." Neji stared at Kiba, blinking slowly as a smile slowly formed.

"Possibly. However, knowing how far my cousin takes things, his new play thing won't last more than three days."

Kiba made a sound between shock and insult. "Three days?! You're not giving this blond much credit! He stood up to Uchiha here. I bet you he lasts a week!"

"Those are fighting words, Inuzuka. Are you sure you want to bet to something like that?" Neji's smirk made him look mischievous. Kiba's eyes glinted.

"Hell yeah! I bet you he lasts a week and if I win, I want the phone number of that hot art assistant of yours." Neji breathed out a laugh.

"And if I win, you'll owe me a new art set, a very expensive one, Inuzuka." They both shook on it.

Sasuke said nothing as he went back to his reading. He was about to speak only to be interrupted by the door opening and a loud "TEME!"

All three teens had turned to look at the individual that stood at the door. Sasuke smirked at seeing that blond. His eyes were those dark blue with a red-orange ring around the pupils. His features seemed much sharper, the same as the last time he had seen the blond. Sasuke stood with crossed arms "Come to apologize, Dobe?"

Naruto narrowed his eyes at the smug Uchiha. He was breathing out sharply, trying hard to contain his anger, not wanting to do something he might regret later on. Sasuke was smirking, the bastard wassmirking with an air of pure unadulterated self-righteousness. It infuriated Naruto off to no end. Before Naruto knew it, he was walking closer toward the Uchiha and grabbing the taller teen's blue tie. He had pulled Sasuke down to his eye level by the tie,, their faces mere inches apart. "You dick." He growled in anger, if anything, it made the Uchiha smirk even more.

"Wrong, Usuratonkachi, that's what you prefer, isn't it?"

Out of anger, Naruto shook Sasuke and grabbed at his tie even tighter, his knuckles turning white at the lethal grip. "You utter fuck. Throw in a couple of words on my desk and you think you've won?" Sasuke smirked, it only angered Naruto even more. "This isn't over, you got that bastard?"

"Hn." His eyes locked with Naruto's. Sasuke could see the anger as clear as day. Those eyes demonstrated so much emotion, everything like an open window. "Don't worry, Usuratonkachi, I'm only getting started."

As both teens continued to stare at one another and argue, Kiba and Neji watched as students began to file inside. The students said nothing, knowing that Sasuke could defend himself if he wanted. Two students, fooling around and pushing each other, did not see the scene that was happening before them, resulting in one of them shoving Naruto by accident.

Both Naruto and Sasuke fell to the ground. Everyone was quiet, Neji's mouth had opened in shock at the scene that was now presented, Kiba was equally shocked and entertained.

"Holy fuck, Neji-" Kiba could not finish his sentence as he stared at Naruto and Sasuke on the floor.

On the floor laid Naruto on top of Sasuke, their lips pressing against one another because of the fall. Sasuke's eyes were wide opened as were Naruto's. Seconds passed before finally, Sasuke pushed the blond off him.

Naruto recovered once Sasuke pushed him off. "Shit." Was all the blond whispered in horror. He could feel his cheeks burn as he stared at an equally shocked Uchiha. "Shit." He said again as he got up. He had just kissed Sasuke… "Shit" it seemed that was the only thing Naruto could say as he felt eyes on him. His body moved before he could think of anything else. He left the classroom, his mind cursing a word per second as he tried hard to escape those stares.

Finally, he reached a door and entered. He stopped once he crashed into the railing of the balcony. He breathed out as his mind once again repeated the word "shit." He pressed the back of his hand against his lips, still being able to feel warmth there.

"Shit. Fuck. Fuck. Shit." He couldn't say anything more than that. His mind was replaying that one thing. It made his heart pound hard, it made him feel more agitated. He kicked empty air, he hunched down as he kept repeating curses.

"You've come back to my secret sleeping place." Naruto jumped at the voice and turned quickly. Wide blue were met with expressionless teal. "I was finally able to get some peace and quiet, why are you here?"

"I… I, sorry. I just-" Naruto was tripping over his words. He couldn't speak, not when his entire mind thought about was that bastard and… and… no, that wasn't considered a kiss, right?

"You're all red, something happened." It was not a question. Gaara stared at him with a curious scrutiny, it only made Naruto's cheeks feel warmer. Without any warning, there was a soft hand pressed against his forehead.

"Wha-Wha-What are you doing?" Naruto's eyes widened in slight surprise, Gaara seemed unaware of the uneasiness Naruto was displaying as his hand remained on his forehead.

"You're all red, it's a sign of a fever but your forehead's not as warm." Naruto said nothing, his cheeks feeling blazing hot. He watched as Gaara's hand retreated and his gaze shifted to search for something in his bag. Naruto watched as Gaara took out a white small cloth and handed it to the blond. "Here, this might help if you soak it in warm water and place it on top of your forehead." Naruto stared at the small handkerchief, there were two sown letters in red thread at the end that spelled G.S.

"Thanks. I'll return it back soon." Gaara huffed out a small laugh.

"Because of the sudden company, I need to find someplace else to sleep."

"Eh? You can't sleep?" Gaara only stared "You know, I read somewhere that if you drink some boiled lettuce water, it might help."

"Hn." With that one sound, Naruto was reminded of Sasuke. His cheeks burned again at the image. Gaara stared at his face, slowly turning red in color before nodding with a soft "Thank you."

Naruto watched as Gaara turned and departed. Gaara was different from his step-brother that was for sure.

The weekend came by too quickly now that he had his eyes set on a new target. He tried hard not to think of what had happened before his second class started that Monday. Sometimes he would feel his body temperature rise and his throat feel slightly dry, however, it wasn't because of that. He felt better than the he did the Friday before, he was even out with Kiba, Neji and Gaara. His new target was actually enduring a lot more than the last ones, course, he wasn't going as hard on the blond as the others. Mere pranks he would make others do for him since he had such a busy schedule. He really didn't know what his underlings did as a form of pranks, but he knew that the blond was always angry at the end of the day.

"Oh, dude, this restaurant brings back memories, don't you think?" Sasuke's train of thought was dismissed at hearing Kiba's voice. The Uchiha was met with Kiba's eyes on him. "Last time we were here, we were celebrating Nii-chan's birthday." Sasuke glared at Kiba, remembering the vivid memory.

"I remember how much it took to even make a reservation for this god-forsaken restaurant." Sasuke retorted back with a sip of his water. "Which makes me question how you got reservations for this restaurant on such short notice, Hyūga?" His eyes met his cousin's, those lavender eyes staring at him, a smile forming and then those eyes looking away.

"I don't know what you're talking about dear cousin." Neji took a drink of his own glass, his gaze on the chef that had just emerged from the kitchen. The chef was a slender young man with short black hair, pale skin and green eyes. Neji smirked at the chef, making the young man hesitate for a moment as a pinkish color adorned his cheeks. After a moment of eye contact between the two men, the chef went back inside the kitchen. Neji turned back to see that Sasuke stared at him with a raised brow, Kiba had his mouth wide open, impressed at the long haired brunette. Gaara only blinked.

"Your sexuality for both sexes impresses me to say the least." Neji gave a small laugh. Neji was never one to put labels on his sexuality, his friends knew that he had a certain interest in both sexes and they were all okay with it. Kiba was known as a player with women, Gaara never seemed to show much interest in any sex except for only one person, a woman all of them knew. With Sasuke, the three teens merely assumed that the man had no interest in any sex and never asked. They accepted each other for who they were, knew each other since pre-k, all four of them were basically brothers- not in blood but in bond. "So, seduced the chef did you?"

Neji, again, gave a small chuckle. "I prefer the word charmed."

"Is it serious?" Gaara had spoken softly, the first time since they had come into the restaurant. Neji raised a brow as he stared at those light green eyes. After a while, Neji smirked slightly.

"Jealous, Gaara?" the small redhead gave a small glare. "Don't worry that pretty red hair, Subaku, you'll always be the one for me." Gaara looked away with a small frown.

"I'm sure you say that to everyone you try to charm." Neji chuckled at the redhead's comment. Before anyone could say anything else, the sound of a phone call was heard. It was Sasuke's phone that was ringing. Sasuke got up from the table and answered it by the small hall of the restaurant.

"What?" there was a hesitated answer from the other line. Sasuke seemed to get more agitated as the silence continued, of course it had to be Suigetsu, that dumb-ass. Finally, Suigetsu responded, Sasuke growled. "I don't care how long you have to wait, I want you to scare him off." Sasuke hung up with an aggravated sigh and whispered a small "Dumb-ass." He walked back to the table and saw that Gaara was staring at him with a strong gaze. "What?"

Gaara only sighed and shook his head with a soft "Nothing."

He had wished he could have skipped all his classes and just be home all day, however, this was Koden, and he was here because of a scholarship. He knew he wasn't bright but he knew well enough that his grandmother would pound him to oblivion if he slipped up and was kicked out of the so called prestigious school she wanted him to be in. He had to endure the stares and the snarky comments from those who knew he got an Uchiha card, which was to say everyone.

That bastard, Sasuke, upped his game and did as much as he could to make his days miserable. He would get others to do his dirty work too, the bastard. He's had his backpack painted on by paintballs shot from a distance. His locker had been written on, his gym locker was always full of used condoms. Hell, sometimes he would be late to basketball practice because some second and third years would gang up on him. He wanted to fight back, to show that Uchiha just who exactly he was messing with and what aggravated him the most was that he couldn't, not when he was in Koden on scholarship, not when his grandparents talked non-stop, practically praising him for actually being in such a school. To say the least, he didn't want to let them down.

All he could do now was to try and survive the hell-hole that was Koden. He knew that the best way for him to push forward was to bulk up, to eat as much food as he could. And, dammit, he was doing it right now!

His hand reached for the large glass of water that was next to the cooked mackerel. In his other hand he held chopsticks to eat his 5thbowl of ramen. He had taken all the leftover food that was in the fridge from the past week and he still didn't feel full… strange.

He had a mochi ball halfway in his mouth when he saw his grandmother walk in. her brown eyes narrowed and her mouth formed a tight frown. "What the hell are you doing, you little twerp?!" Naruto blinked as he continued to chew on the piece of mochi, Tsunade only seemed to get more infuriated. "You little idiot, how are you going to catch yourself a pretty girl or handsome guy, if you keep eating like a pig!"

Naruto grunted and took another bite of his mochi ball, with his mouth full of food, he answered back. "Obaa-chan, you don't understand, Ineed to bulk up, to get stronger."

"You mean get fatter! Just because you play basketball now, doesn't mean you're not going to get fat with all this!" Tsunade's hands reached for the bowl of ramen that Naruto held. Naruto, however, pulled the bowl closer to his chest, getting up and running to the kitchen. "Naruto Uzumaki, you drop that bowl, NOW!"

"No!" Naruto ran to his room and locked the door.

"You little shit, I catch you out of this room during the night, I'll make you scrub the floors with your toothbrush!"

Naruto only placed his bowl of ramen on the table where he did his homework and placed himself on the bed with a loud groan. If Naruto was being honest with himself, he did not want to go back to Koden and see a certain teen that had been on his mind since… The blond groaned once more. "Kusotare, that was my first kiss." Naruto punched the mattress. "I want my virtue back you a-hole!"

That night, the blond had a dream of glaring at Sasuke and then kissing. He didn't remember much of it but he was sure that they fought in a room and pounded the living daylights of the guy. Sasuke had ended up tied in his dream and strangely enough, he confessed feelings for Sakura. The blond shook his head to shake the memory away. He needed to focus, he wanted to do some practice before his first class started. Naruto ruffled his hair and closed his locker door.

He ran to the inside gym only to feel himself slip and fall.

At falling, he could feel something wet on his clothes, his shorts clinging to his body. His hands touched the floor only to see his fingers shimmer and feel oily. He tried to get up and felt his shoes slip once more. His eyes wandered throughout the whole guy and saw the floor shine. After some thought, his eyes narrowed, he exhaled sharply and finally yelled on the top of his lungs. "SASUKE!"

At hearing the distant yell, a smirk formed slowly. He was in the lounge that was occupied by the four of them. He never liked being in the cafeteria of the school because of all the girls that would drool over him and the others. He preferred for it to just be him and those he was comfortable with.

"Hmm, a scream like that, it must be because of Sasuke." Neji had come into the lounge with Kiba next to him. Sasuke only smirked as he took a bite of his omelet.

"Must be Whiskers. Hey, wait, how long has it been?" Kiba made a gesture of counting his fingers until finally a wide smile spread. "Oh, dude, its been week! Cough up my reward, Hyūga!" Kiba made a gesture with his hand, Neji only rolled his eyes with a smile as he reached for his pocket and gave the short haired brunette a small paper.

"Strange, I think Sasuke is enjoying himself a little too much with his new target. Curious, any reason for that Uchiha?" Sasuke narrowed his eyes at the long haired brunette and frowned.

"Don't talk nonsense. Where's Subaku anyway?"

Naruto grumbled under his breath as he tried to balance himself. He had to take off his shoes once he was out of the indoor gym. His clothes were no longer usable and his hair was extremely oily. He cursed the Uchiha once more under his breath. "I'm going to punch that bastard's throat when I have the chance." He passed a small bench, not taking too much notice on the person laying on top of the bench.

Naruto went back to the locker rooms, trying to wipe off the oil from his hands. There was still no one around, still too early for classes to start. Naruto reached his gym locker and opened the small metal door.

"Look at this." Naruto tensed at the new voice. He turned and met purple colored eyes. He was not alone, next to him were two others Naruto recognized. The one with purple colored eyes smiled widely. "What do you think of the small blond, Juugo?"

Naruto turned to see the tallest of the three, Juugo. It was strange, the orange haired teen looked different now. Before, the tall teen seemed much calmer, now, he seemed to look more blood-thirsty, sinister. Juugo's eyes were a red-orange color, his stare seemed much more wilder, animalistic. "Reminds me of a little kitsune, cute enough to eat."

Juugo smiled widely, his red-orange eyes not once leaving Naruto's gaze. Naruto swallowed hard and backed away slowly only to bump into his locker. He couldn't think of anything, he couldn't move. The way Juugo stared at him, it made his head blank out, made him freeze on the spot. Naruto opened his mouth but nothing came out. He wanted to run, to say something, anything.

"You keep looking at me with those eyes, kitsune, and I might not be able to contain myself." Naruto still could not say anything. Why couldn't he move?! "Suigetsu, grab my little kitsune. Kabuto," Juugo licked his lips as the tall teen came closer, Naruto could feel his heart beat loudly, a chill running down his spine, his eyes wide with fear. "undress him."
