This is my first story, so be nice!
Disclaimer: Oy, I don't own Scooby Doo or MCR!!!
/Turn away/
The sky was dark. Rain was pouring. The wind was harshly pounding against the windows of a house.
/If could give me a drink/
/Of water 'cause my lips are chapped and faded/
Inside was a great dane, but this dog didn't look well, not well at all.
/Call my Aunt Marie/
/Help her gather all my things/
You see this dog has been slowly dieing for a whole month and this was his final hours, but he wasn't alone.
/And bury me in all my favorite colors/
/My sisters and my brothers still/
/I will not kiss you/
His family and friends were there, too. All trying to comfort him in his last hours. The most important person there, though, was his best friend, Shaggy.
/'Cause the hardest part of this is leaving you/
Shaggy was having a hard time dealing with this situation. His best was dieing right in front of him. Tears were flowing.
/Now turn away/
/Cause I'm awful just to see/
/'Cause all my hairs abandoned all my body/
He remembered the day they found out what was wrong with his pal, Scooby. The gang saw he was eating less. They were worried, but not to much. Then he stopped eating completely and fur was coming off his body. That they really got worried. They took him to the vet and found out the terrible news.
/Oh the agony/
Scooby had cancer.
/Know that I will never marry/
Freddy said maybe Shaggy should adopt another puppy to comfort the blow of losing Scooby. Shaggy couldn't. He just couldn't. He felt like he was replacing Scooby if he did that. He just couldn't.
/Baby I'm just soggy from the chemo/
Scooby's eyes were getting heavier.
/But counting down the days to go/
He was ready to go, but Shaggy wasn't ready to let him go.
/I just ain't living and I hope you know/
Scooby wished he could comfort him, so he licked his hand to reassure him that everything will be okay.
/That if you say/
/Goodbye today/
/I'd ask you to be true/
/'Cause the hardest part of this is leaving you/
Shaggy smiled softly down at Scooby. Scooby closed his eyes with a smile on his face.
/'Cause the hardest part of this is leaving you/
"Goodbye good, old buddy, old pal, old friend."
