A year passed since Yuki became a vampire and two months since Zero accepted Kaname. When Yuki went in town to buy a present for Zero and Kaname she forgot to take the blood pills with her. She also didn't drink blood for three days and she was very thirsty. Before she found the shop she saw a man and went straight to his neck and pierced it with her fangs. The man was lucky that a hunter was nearby and shot Yuki. Or maybe Yuki was unlucky that the hunter was nearby. Who knows? The next day Kaname prepared the funeral for his sister. Zero was helping him. When the ceremony finished Zero went in Kaname's room to look for the rose that he gave to Yuki. After he returned in Kaname's room he saw that Kaname fell asleep. But what Zero didn't know was that Kaname's eyes were just closed. When the hunter got near the pureblood he opened his eyes. His eyes had a lost expression and had the color of blood. In that moment Kaname got near Zero's neck and licked him. Then he pierced Zero's neck. When he took out his fangs he still had blood in his mouth and Zero kissed him. Because of the thirst caused by Kaname, Zero pierced his tongue. Kaname moaned and came back to reality. Then he wrapped his arms around Zero's neck and pulled him closer. When Zero broke the kiss he kissed Kaname on the eye because he was crying. Then kissed him on the neck and also licked the place he wants to bite. When Zero's fangs pierced Kaname moaned in pleasure. After he finished his meal Zero took out his fangs and licked the place he bit. Then he took Kaname in his arms like a princess and put him in the bed to sleep. After that Zero wanted to go and drink some water but Kaname grabbed his hand and said that he didn't want to be alone. Zero explained to Kaname that he wants to go and drink some water then he will come back. Kaname agreed and let go of Zero's arm. When Zero returned Kaname was already sleeping. Zero woke up and it was night and went on the balcony to look at the scenery. When Kaname woke up he wondered where Zero was. He found him and put his head on his shoulder. After that Zero patted Kaname on the head and kissed him.

'Ne, Zero can you see the small girl in front of you?'

'Yeah, is there a problem with her?'

'Can you go and take her from there before she is bitten by someone?'

'OK.'

Then Zero jumped from the balcony and ran to the little girl. When he returned he put the small girl in bed and covered her with a blanket. After some hours she woke up and asked Kaname to come and talk to her because she was afraid. While she was asking Kaname smelled the scent of a vampire in her but she didn't have any fangs mark. The only thing that would fit it was that she was a vampire.

'What is your name?' asked Kaname.

'I don't know,' said the little girl.

'Then where do you come from?' asked Kaname.

'From a very big house. My parents said that I should come here before someone else found me. This is all that I remember,' said the little girl confused.

'I will take care of you and I think that you need a name. Let's see, how about Yuki?' said Kaname.

'Yuki?' asked the little girl.

'Yeah. Do you like it?' asked Kaname with a smile on his face.

'Yes!' said Yuki with a big and bright smile.

'Kaname are you sure about keeping her?' asked Zero worried about Kaname.

'Don't worry I'll be okay?' said Kaname.

'If you say so,' said Zero. Then Zero kissed Kaname but he covered Yuki's eyes.

Three years passed since they adopted Yuki and two years since Kaname made a contract with the hunters that the purebloods will help them catch the level E. The contract was made for Yuki's sake so that the hunters won't kill her. Kaname was the one that would teach Yuki things and Zero was the one that was playing with her. She became very attached to them since they adopted her. Yuki was calling Kaname Mama, and Zero Papa because she thought that they were her parents
