The Thoughts of Irene Adler

Disclaimer: I do not own Sherlock Holmes (unfortunately) or Irene Adler (no so devastated about that!) they all belong to sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the genius!

based on the depictions of the characters played by Robert Downey Jr and Rachel McAdams.

Enjoy!

Sherlock Holmes. A name I had never before said with so much passion as I do now. Before I met yourself, you were just a man, from what I read in the newspapers, utterly brilliant but just a man. How times change. Surly it is deemed wrong for a criminal to fall in love with a detective. But I cannot help myself.

Just as I look at you, Sherlock, as you sleep, I remember how amazing and complex your mind is. How it can somehow be completely insane and at the same time utterly the opposite.

As I travel down your face with my eyes I realise that, asleep is the only time you will ever be fully relaxed as you are continuously pulling some sort of expression or solving some crime which has been put to you.

Even though they are closed, your eyes are one of the four things that make you unique. You see everything.

Then we come to your hands, the hands that have done everything. Caught criminals, solved crimes, touched things that I cannot or would not dare to touch in a million years.

In summary; I think that you are beautiful.
