A/N: I wrote this after reading The Last Olympian for the second time. I hope you enjoy it.
"NO! NO you can't have Percy! I need him! NO!" Annabeth Chase sat up in bed, covered in a cold sweat. Her fiancée, Percy Jackson, sprang up next to her. He wrapped Annabeth up in his strong arms and began whispering to her,
"Shhh, it's okay Annabeth. I'm fine. We're safe." Annabeth began sobbing into Percy's light blue cotton pajama top. Within a few moments the entire front was soaked and Percy was still whispering soothing words to Annabeth.
"Wise Girl, do you want to tell be what this one was about?"
"No." Annabeth mumbled into his shirt, "It was horrible." Percy sighed and they lay back down, Annabeth was still wrapped up in his arms. She was sleeping now but, Percy wasn't sure how long it would last. Percy was worried about his fiancée. Four years had passed since the Second Titan War and Annabeth was having trouble coping. Ever since they'd moved in together two years ago, Percy had noticed that around the time of the anniversary of the battles she would start screaming and crying in the middle of the night.
At a quarter to two, Annabeth woke up again, screaming, "Don't kill him!" Percy had roused her and she sat up,
"I'm sorry Percy. It isn't fair that you can't get any sleep around this time." Percy smiled slightly,
"Eh, It's okay, if you're having issues with this, then I'm going to help. We're going to help each other for the rest of our lives." Annabeth sighed and leaned against Percy,
"You know Seaweed Brain; you've really changed since our Camp days." Annabeth yawned and Percy pulled her back down.
"Let's get some rest. You have to be at Olympus early tomorrow and my dad wanted to talk to me about something." Annabeth nodded and pulled the green comforter up to her chin.
"Promise you won't leave me." She whispered into the darkness. Annabeth was half asleep when Percy answered but, she heard him none the less when he whispered,
"Never, you're mine always."
