Cloud stood on the cliff beside Zack's sword. A tear slid down his cheek as he stared at the sky.

"I wish you were here Zack." Cloud sunk to his knees, head in his hands.

"Everything would be easier if you were here." He sobbed.

Cloud felt warm, strong arms wrap around him from behind and warm breath against his ear.

"I'm always here Cloud." A voice whispered.

Cloud didn't open his eyes. He didn't want to. He knew if he opened his eyes he wouldn't see Zack. He knew he was just hearing and feeling what he wanted to. He knew if he opened his eyes the warm feeling of arms around him would go away, and he never wanted that. The arms around him tightened their grip slightly, pulling him back against a strong, warm chest.

"Open your eyes Cloud." The voice whispered.

Against his better judgment Cloud opened his eyes and looked behind him. He found himself looking into Zack's sparkling violet eyes. Cloud's own baby blue eyes widened, and his jaw dropped. Zack smiled at him.

"Happy to see me?" He asked, tilting his head slightly in a puppy like fashion.

Cloud twisted around and flung himself into Zack's embrace, pulling him close.

"Zack! How are you here?" Cloud gasped.

Zack tightened his hold on Cloud, grinning like an idiot.

"The Lifestream got tired of me tainting it with my idiocy, so it spit me back out. At least, that's what Aerith told me."

Cloud giggled and snuggled closer to Zack, who pulled him onto his lap. Cloud looked up at Zack and smiled.

"I'm glad you're back." Zack looked down at Cloud and smiled.

"Me too Cloudy-boy. Me too."
