Susan is still reeling from Karl's death. She was in love with him at one point. She can't just get him out of her mind.

Luckily for her, Mike understands. He's there for her and Julie. Mike held Susan's hair when she cried so hard she threw up. This had been after the funeral.

Susan cried when she visited Bree the other day. She knows they both miss Karl. Bree is taking this the hardest out of anyone.

She can see that Bree and Karl were soul mates.

Susan has to be strong for Julie and Bree. They need her.
