A/N: This is a Christmas present for my best friend in real life, Ciel In A Dress. She gave me three prompts to work with: sea/beach/ocean, elevators/escalators and sex.

In actuality, I have never properly played Kingdom Hearts; I've just heard a lot about it from her and our other friend, Maerci-Eci, and watched them play a bit. So you'll have to forgive any errors in characterisation you may find. It is plain crack, though, so it shouldn't matter too much.

This is set directly after Roxas leaves the Organization. It is AU-ish, I suppose, since I have Axel chase after him in this version for certain reasons. Oh, and they're on a beach, somewhere, somehow.

Follow Me Into Insanity

"Roxas, wait up!"

"I'm leaving the Organization, Axel. Don't try to stop me."

Axel bit his lip but persisted. "You have to come back!"

"Why should I?"

"You stole our elevator!"

Roxas froze. He turned to face Axel with a strange look on his face. "Excuse me?"

Axel just looked at him, unyielding. Roxas tried again. "Okay, rewind… Did you just say I stole an elevator?"

"That's what I said."

Roxas shook his head. "That's it; you've lost your mind."

"No—I lost an elevator, which you've clearly decided to keep as some kind of a souvenir." Then a different tactic occurred to Axel. "We had some good times in there, didn't we?" he said, challenging Roxas to defy the suggestive undertone in his voice.

"Yes. Yes, we did," Roxas admitted, "but that has nothing to do with it being lost or missing or whatever it is you're saying."

"Oh, really?" Axel stormed up to Roxas and grabbed him by his coat. "You thought you could just erase all that we ever were, did you?"

"I don't know what you're talking about," Roxas insisted, trying to get Axel to unhand him. "Besides, how in the world would I steal an elevator? Where would I even put it? Check my pockets because, I assure you, I don't have it!"

"Yeah? Well, we'll just see—"

CRASH.

Axel suddenly relinquished his hold on Roxas and turned to observe the source of the ruckus. Roxas did the same. Immediately, both pairs of eyes widened.

"What the—"

"—hell is that?"

They stood there gaping for a moment or two, before Roxas said to Axel, "I think I found the elevator."

"I think so, too…"

They both reluctantly approached the transportation device that lay on the sand just out of reach of the ocean's waves, and they both touched it, half-expecting it to disappear. It didn't.

"Well, now that you have your elevator back…" Roxas mused, "I'll just be going now."

He tried to walk away but Axel caught him by his hood and said, "Not yet, you aren't. How do you explain that an elevator just managed to crash-land on the beach, huh?"

"I don't know!" Roxas snapped. "Let me go!"

Instead of following the order, Axel dragged him along to the stray elevator, prying open the doors and getting both of them inside. "What are you doing, Axel?" Roxas demanded as the doors were slid shut.

"What else did we ever do in here?"

"Axel, you can't be saying we should—" His protest was cut off with a kiss, followed by the discarding of clothes and the melding of limbs. Soon, all else was forgotten and only they existed, in that moment, in that space.

Little did they know that by then the tide had swept the elevator out to sea, with them still inside.

A/N: Can't do crack. Perhaps one day I'll get the hang of it. One day…
