Snow

Alice stared out the window watching the snowfall with a happy smile. She sighed and closed her eyes when she felt rough, but gentle lips against her neck. She leaned back into a hard broad chest as strong arms tightened around her slim waist wrapping the dark soft blanket tighter around her.

"I love that you find joy in doing such simple human things," Jasper whispered in her ear.

Alice smiled as she snuggled into him "I love that you do these simple human things with me."

Jasper smiled as he kissed the top of her head "Sitting on the floor holding a beautiful girl in my arms, wrapped in a blanket we don't need, watching the snow fall, sounds like a perfect day to me."

Alice smiled up at him and pulled herself up kissing him on the lips "Sounds like a perfect day to me too." She tucked herself under his chin and closed her eyes.

"You don't want to watch the snow anymore?" He asked as he looked down at her fondly.

Alice shook her head "I can't be this close to you if I'm watching the snow."

"I thought you loved watching the snowfall?"

"I do," she whispered "but it can only hold my attention for so long, especially when you're around."

"Well I hope I can hold your attention longer than the snow," Jasper said with a chuckle.

Alice sat up and placed her hands on either side of his face, with eyes full of love and compassion "You will always hold my attention, I will never be drawn to anything else the way I am to you." Jasper bowed his head bashfully as Alice kissed his cheek then settled back into him. Jasper smiled down at her as they held each other both completely at ease as the snow continued to fall.

A/N: I have been having huge writers block lately, so this was hard to write. I hope you all enjoyed it though and that everyone has a safe and happy holiday.

P.S. I started a blog the other day, the link to it is on my profile so feel free to check it out, as I will be trying to keep you all updated with my writing.
