I've heard a lot about this idea, so I just HAD to write it down. XD

"Tiana, where in the world have you been? And…what are you wearing!?" Eudora exclaimed upon seeing her daughter. Tiana had been missing for three days, and is now standing on her doorstep in a dress so poofy it would make Charlotte raise an eyebrow. This was going to be interesting.

"Um…" Tiana hesitated, rubbing her hands together. Explaining this…she almost wished she had Lottie here to back her up. And to tell her mother the number one surprise, the fact that she is now the princess of Maldonia?

Eudora was growing impatient.

"Child, you go to that silly masquerade ball and don't return for days. Here I am thinking you got drunk or kidnapped or killed, and you come flouncing up here in some fancy shamsy dress I've never seen before refusing to tell me why—Oh God, you're not pregnant are you?"

"No!" Tiana exclaimed, rushing into the house as she plopped her mother on the couch. She took one last look outside, her new husband and alligator friend standing awkwardly in the front lawn. "Come in when I give a signal." She whispered to them. Spinning around to face Eudora again, she sat next to her.

"Um, Mama, through a lot of strange events you probably wouldn't believe if I told you, I'm…uh…" She whispered the last word under her breath, "married."

"What? Child, you need to speak louder—"

"Married!" Tiana shouted, flustered.

Eudora gaped at her daughter for thirty strait seconds. Tiana stared at her back, tugging nervously at her skirt. The tension rose by the second, until you could almost feel its heat in the air. Sweat started to form on Tiana's palms.

"Married?" Eudora said, finally speaking, "You…married…married? YOU'RE MARRIED!?" She screeched suddenly. "WHY IN THE NAME OF GOD ARE YOU MARRIED?"

Tiana glanced out the window at Naveen, who, pretending not to hear her mother, was trying to act as comfortable as possible.

"Well, um, he had an issue," she stammered, trying to figure out how to explain this without the frogs, "and he asked me to help him, he said he could help me get my restaurant, mama! And when we kissed…he kinda passed that issue onto me…"

"Oh God, so you ARE pregnant!?"

"No no no!" Tiana said, "But…I guess you can totally get that from the way I said it…Jesus Christ...Ok, if I tell you the truth, will you promise to believe me?"

"Of course."

"Well, Prince Naveen—"

"Wait, you're married to PRINCE NAVEEN!?"

"Yes, mama, let me finish. He was turned into a frog by the shadowman, and he asked me to kiss him to turn him back to normal. I did, but since I wasn't a princess, it turned me into a frog too…uh…" Tiana could tell by her mother's expression she thought her daughter had gone simply insane. "Anyway, we had to go find Mama Odie, a voodoo witch, to turn us back, and we help from, uh, a trumpet playing alligator and a firefly…Oh, Jesus, mama, stop looking at me like that! And the witch told us we had to go find Charlotte to turn us back since she was the Mardi Gras princess, but it didn't work since it was past midnight, and Mama Odie married Naveen and I and since I was then a princess it turned us back." Tiana stopped, her breaths huffing.

"You're pregnant."

"I am not!"

Louis decided it was time for his help. Tiana needed something to convince her mother it was true? Well he was going to be just that. With one leap, he bounded through the front door. Eudora screamed, jumping behind the couch. Louis whipped out his trumpet, playing his heart out. Eudora's jaw hit the floor, frozen in her place. Naveen walked into the house, sitting on the couch and putting his arm around Tiana.

"Believe me now, mama?"

"It…its…wha?"

"You'll get used to it, mama."
