Team Kurenai's Jackets

My first fanfiction ever!!!
Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto.

It was a hot summer day.

Naruto and Team Kurenai were all in the training ground. Kiba was playing with Akamaru, Shino was in the surrounding forest collecting bugs, and Hinata was reading a book. Naruto was complaining about the heat.

"Why don't you guys take off your jackets?" Naruto asked. "It's really hot out!" He already had his jacket off, and his friends weren't paying attention to him.

"You know," he realized, "all three of you wore jackets when we were young, and even now. You're like a Jacket team! I haven't seen you guys take off your jackets before! I mean, I've seen Kiba and Hinata without their jackets when we were young, but not now.

"Did you guys do this on purpose? Or maybe Iruka-sensei did it! He did make up all the teams, right? And another thing I noticed: when we were young, your jackets were kind of colorless. Yours, Kiba, was grayish, Hinata's was a light-peach-brown thing, and Shino's was green-gray. But this time, you have a little more color: black, lavender, and green! By the way, Hinata, you and Neji had the same color clothes back then. Is that, like, a Hyuga thing? And now he's wearing like a Hyuga robe and you're wearing another jacket. What does that mean? That you're not in the Hyuga anymore? I'm just kidding about that last part.

"Hey, where's Shino? Is he still in the forest? I have to tell him about this news! And then I'm going to Iruka-sensei to ask him a few questions. See you later guys!"

And with that he grabbed his jacket, put it on, and took off towards Shino.

"He does know that he didn't let us talk, right?" Kiba asked.

"Poor Naruto, he doesn't know Shino is in a bad mood today," said Hinata.

Akamaru barked.

Ta-da! I told you it wasn't that funny. It's because I didn't know how to make it funny; the point was that Team Kurenai(8) all wear jackets, and that they still wear them.
Also that they wore "colorless" jackets. Kurenai is the only one with color, but even hers is mostly white!

Naruto was supposed to be a kind of "chatterbox" here, so he was supposed to talk a lot.

I am new to this whole writing-a-fanfic thing, so (nice) reviews would be nice. Please tell me anything I can improve on!

Since I saw that this story is kind of short, I think I'm going to add a little "after."

"Hey Shino!" cried Naruto as he was jumping on trees looking for his bug-loving friend. "I have something important to tell you!"

Suddenly, he was about to land on another tree when a bunch of tiny black bugs grabbed him by the waist and pulled him down.

They pulled him down to where Shino was, and he was staring coldly at Naruto.

Naruto, got nervous; he always does whenever he feels Shino's glares at him.

"What?" Shino said icily.

"Did you know that all three of you and your teammates wear jackets?" The blond ninja asked proudly.

Shino continued to glare at Naruto. "That's not important."

A minute later, Naruto found himself wrapped up in a cocoon with something sticky over his mouth.

I give him my time to tell him something and this is how he treats me?! he shouted in his head while struggling to get out.

Shino, let me out! This cocoon is very HOT!!!
