Remember. I do not own any Inuyasha character. I do own Blugoski, Ren, Raven, Rose, Midnight, Flame, and LadyIzumi101 owns Izumi, but I own what she does or say.
Demkra: September 9, 2011, my baby girl Pumpkin died. Somehow, she had gotten out of the house and she was scared of everything, including the leaves on the ground, so she went on the road… and some bastard hit and killed her. My little four pound fat black and tan Chihuahua. She wanted to have a baby, but you know, there were no small studs for her. So, she kept doing my leg. That was fine, considering that she was scared of toys. And, it was funny too. She would grunt like a pig when she did that. I miss her so very much. I was out of my mind that day. I cried and held her body close to my face, wishing that she was just asleep. Blood went everywhere on my clothes, arms, and face. I didn't care. I lost my heart and my kid then. My dad, sick with cancer, came out to see what was the matter. He was real weak and even then, offered to dig a grave and bury her. I couldn't do that. I wanted to cremate her so I could always hold her when I was down. So, we cremated her. But, she always slept under covers with me, so I went on a search to find someone else. We found two brown Chihuahuas that I finally bought, but they weren't what I wanted. But, my brothers shared them, so I set out to try again. This time, in Kentucky, I went and found my little son, Shadow. His mom was like fifteen pounds so I was shocked when he only grew to four pounds. He was the runt. And always the runt lover, I got him. I call him Little Boy too. He's now two and just loves me. He's a little gay, trying to hump our yorkie Booboo. But he's just my little baby. One of his favorite hobbies is sleeping halfway out of the covers with his balls shining in your face. I just can't help but laugh at that. And, hell no! No fixing! They do not like that! I went to get him a rabies shot. They came out to the waiting room and started talking about neutering him. I said hell no, would you want your balls cut off? I know you don't! Neither does he! And I kid you not, when they said that, the assistant turned to go get the shot and my baby just started to growl and bark at them. And, he never does that to anyone. He was growling like he was going to kill them. It scared them so bad that they said they needed backup. REALLY? You need backup for a four pound Chihuahua? Especially when I was already holding his head so they could put the needle in…wow. My baby showed them. They have free will to and my baby expressed it.
Inu: good god, is this chapter going to be about you? I mean look at that! That's longer than most of these paragraphs you write.
Demkra: well, I wanted to tell everyone one of the reasons I hadn't been writing. My girl dying, my dad dying, too poor for internet for a while, then getting internet and the damn computer screwed up, having to save up to get a laptop, and finally, copying and pasting my stories on the laptops Microsoft word because I didn't have a flash drive to save it. Yeah, I'm an idiot.
Kag: you poor thing. Everything happened too you didn't it?
Demkra: yeah, basically. But, I'm in the writing business again, so here's the next chapter yall!

You were so confused

Chapter four. Dreams
Oct. 11 (1 year later)
"Mommy, Flame is pulling my ears!" Raven whined. It has been exactly one year since Inuyasha's disappearance. Last year, he was informed that it was mandatory that he came to fight in the Iraq war. He didn't want to go, but there was no other option. So, that night before he was scheduled to depart, Kagome pleaded Inuyasha to make love to her. After that passionate night, Kagome became pregnant. It turned out that Izumi, Ren, and Sango also were impregnated. Their pregnancies (except for Sango's) were relatively short; resulting in the due date to be the day that Inuyasha was scheduled to return home. On that day, it seemed like the whole world came to an end. Because when the plane arrived, Inuyasha was absent, apparently been kidnapped. Whoever did it had to of have Detonium, a highly dangerous element that when hanyous' come in contact with it, it turns them into humans for a short while. But ingesting it transforms them into permanent humans, ultimately killing them slowly. Most don't even make it half a year. Even though it seemed hopeless, Wolfi and the others were still hoping that Inuyasha will return. As for Kagome, she was badly damaged. Her mind went into a state of depression, so severe that Wolfi had to move her to his house to take care of her and her child. Being with her friends slowly made progress. After four months, she started to come around to her old self. But in the dead of night, she would cry herself to sleep. She was grateful that in all the chaos, the four kids didn't stay in a state of helplessness too long. After a year, all four act like eight year olds: talking, walking, eating by their selves, and playing. Even though Sango's child was human, the curse of Miroku's wind tunnel sped up their child's growth. The kids bonded with each other from the start. Raven was a mischievous little hanyou. She could run faster than the others and sometimes got her claws into something she shouldn't. She grew up with Flame in the house which was hectic. He would sometimes play rough and got in trouble more often than her. Midnight on the other hand, turned out to be hard headed and grumpy like Sesshomaru. She got along with everyone, but if you piss her off, be prepared to either run, or have your furniture dissolved by her poison claws. Rose was shy. She would play with Kirara more than the others. But, with careful handling, Raven slowly pulled her out of her shell. On more occasions then Kagome would like, Raven would ask her where her father was. Kagome couldn't tell her he was dead. She would be heartbroken. Instead, she kept telling her that he was off on a long trip, promising to return one day. But, would he really? Only time can tell. (Demkra: how's that for a long paragraph Inuyasha?)
Kagome sat her coffee down. "Flame, quit bothering her ears. You don't want me to pull your ears, do you?" Flame lowered his ears and let go. "I'm sorry Kagome. I'll be good." Kagome nodded. "If you want, you two can go over to Sango's house and play with Rose. Your birthday party will be held there. Midnight is there, so make sure not to make her mad." The two little hanyous' smiled and ran out the door. Kagome sighed and slouched back into the chair. 'One year… a blessed day and a damned day all at the same time… will I be able to get through this day?' She was so engrossed in her thoughts, that she didn't hear Wolfi enter the kitchen.
"Hey baby what are you thinking about?" He sat down next beside her. She jumped a little, spilling some coffee on the table. Wolfi went over to the counter and grabbed a paper towel and cleaned it up. "I'm sorry I startled you Hun. Are you ok?" He sat back down and put his hand over hers. She sighed and turned her head away from him.
"No, I'm not really ok. It's this day. I know I should be happy because it's Raven's birthday, but it's also the day that…"
"I know. It's hard on all of us. But we should try to put on a show so we don't disappoint our kids. Their so excited that it's their birthday." Kagome looked at him. "I know. I'm trying I really am. It's just so hard. I miss him so much." Wolfi took her in his arms.
"I know. I miss him too. We had fun. He was my best friend. But, I still have hope that he will come back. Just don't lose faith." Kagome closed her eyes. 'Hope? How can there be any hope if it's already been a year. He won't come back… all hope is lost…' A tear ran down her cheek. Wolfi wiped it away.
"Hey, you should get some rest. It will do you good. I'll look after the kids. Just take as long as you want. We won't disturb you." He stood up with her and headed toward the bedroom. He sat her down on the bed and exited the room, closing the door behind him. Kagome wiped the rest of the tears up and got under the covers. She cried softly until sleep took ahold of her.
'Under the sacred tree in the feudal era, Inuyasha spread out a blanket. He grabbed Kagome's backpack and unpacked the food that they were going to eat. He ran off to get the pure water from the waterfall and raced back to the tree. Kagome was already on the blanket, serving Inuyasha some ramen noodles, rice, and various vegetables. He sat down next beside her and gave her some water.
"Thank you Inuyasha. I'm glad we took this vacation away from everyone on this day." She said, taking a sip.
"Well, today is the day you found me bound to this tree. It is what brought us together. This tree means a lot to us. Yeah, when we first met, I was kind of trying to kill you, but I slowly began to change. It was all because of you and your pure heart. Before I met you and before I was bound, I avoided humans. All they ever did was try to slaughter demons. And, they blamed me for trying to steal the sacred jewel. I admit it was me, but it wasn't me that slaughtered Kikyou."
"I know. You were just misunderstood. I know you are good hearted and kind." Inuyasha smirked.
"Just don't be calling me that a lot. After all, I have a reputation of being stubborn." Kagome laughed and nodded. "Your secret is safe with me." Inuyasha smiled back and started to tickle her. She started squealing with laughter. She fell onto her back, almost crying from laughing too hard.
"EEH! Inuyasha! Hahahaaa! Please stop! Heeehee!" She yelled out. Inuyasha snickered and finally quit. He laid down next beside her. He propped his head up on one hand and his other on her stomach.
"You're so beautiful. I wish this day would last forever." They gazed at each other. After what seemed like forever, he slowly lowered his lips on hers. He kissed her gently.
Kagome closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around his neck. She kissed him back. She moaned slightly when his hand started to go under her shirt.
She was so entranced by the kiss that she didn't notice at first that he had stopped kissing her. She opened her eyes and looked around. Inuyasha seemed to have disappeared. But, the sky started to darken. The winds started to howl in frustration. Kagome stood up and looked around. There was nothing but darkness. The clouds roared with thunder.
"Inuyasha? Where are you?!" She yelled into the storm, looking back and forth frantically. He was nowhere to be seen. The wind picked up speed. Lightning flashed in the sky. The sound was unbearable. She cowered down, holding her ears. She screamed.
Suddenly, a blue light appeared. It hovered fifty feet away. Kagome opened her eyes. Inuyasha was surrounded by the light, staring at her with pleading eyes. He tried to speak, but no words came out. Kagome stood up.
"Inuyasha! What are you saying?!" she yelled, taking a step toward him. He kept on talking soundlessly. Kagome decided to walk closer to him, but the light around Inuyasha suddenly turned red. The wind picked up momentum as the light started to carry him up into the sky. Kagome started to run after him, but it was no use. The light flew him up higher and higher until finally, he vanished. Kagome slammed to a halt. She looked back and forth into the sky, trying to find him. But he was nowhere to be seen.
"Inuyasha!"
Kagome rose up from the bed gasping. Her heart was racing. She got off the bed and ran into the bathroom. She looked into the mirror. Other than some small dark spots under her eyes, she looked alright. She sighed heavily and plopped onto the toilet seat.
"Just a dream. Thank goodness. But why would I dream something dark like that?" She asked herself, yawning. She didn't want to go to sleep again just yet, so she decided to take a bath. She started the bath water and stripped. She shut the bathroom door and locked it, just to make sure Miroku didn't come to visit.
"He still acts like a pervert." She said, spreading a white towel in front of the bathtub. She grabbed some shampoo and some soap and she stepped in. she lowered herself down into the soothing water, sighing contently. The warm water felt so good after a nightmare like that.
Kagome had put in some bubble soap for a bubble bath. It smelled like flowers. The pink bubbles surrounded Kagome. She clapped her hands. The IPod dock turned on. It started to play peaceful music.
"Will I ever get over losing Inuyasha?" She asked out loud. She lowered herself deeper, where only her head stuck out of the water. She closed her eyes and breathed deeply.
'Under the sacred tree, Inuyasha and Kagome sat, enjoying a picnic away from everyone. Inuyasha sat to the right, gobbling down countless ramen. Kagome rolled her eyes and took a bite of her fried rice with vegetables in it. It had a sweet sauce on it, sort of like what they put on sesame chicken. She offered Inuyasha a bite. He looked at her, then glanced down at the scrumptious meal. He tried to act nice, but ended up taking over half of Kagome's rice.
She looked down at the small portion of food remaining in her dish. "Wow… you sure do love my mother's cooking…" Inuyasha swallowed the last of his ramen and burped loudly. Kagome frowned and gave Inuyasha the 'I'm grossed out look.'
"He he, sorry. It's just that the food from your era is soooo delicious! Ramen is the king of flavor." He looked down at his empty bowl. He whined. He had already eaten all ten ramen bowls that she brought. Kagome huffed. "Well, you need to take it easy. Eat slower you hog." Inuyasha glared at her.
"I ain't no damn hog! I just have a fondness for food." He crossed his arms in victory, silently congratulating himself for the comeback. Kagome growled. "You are such a handful." Inuyasha cocked his head. "Well, you're a handful too. You're just too damn beautiful." He scooted over to her and put his arms around her. She leaned over on him.
"Well, you're just too damn hot." She replied, rubbing his leg. Inuyasha growled in content and pushed her to the ground. He got on her and started to kiss her. She moaned as he nipped her neck.
"I love you Inuyasha." She sighed, closing her eyes. She had never felt this kind of happiness before. She loved him with all her heart. From the very first day that they met, she knew it was more than fate. She was always the timid girl at her school, turning down guy after guy. The only guy that was actually ok was her classmate Hojo. He was always nice to her, giving her baskets of food. Even though she kept blowing him off from dates, he still cared for her. He was a great friend, but wasn't what Kagome craved. When she went into the feudal era, everything changed. She met Inuyasha and on their travels, became acquaintances, friends, best friends, and then eventually, lovers. He was just perfect for her.
She waited for Inuyasha to respond to her, but she didn't hear anything. She opened her eyes. He was gone again, vanished into thin air. Kagome jumped up from the blanket.
"Great. Not again. Why is this happening?" she asked as the winds picked up speed. Thunder and lightning clashed in the sky. The forest disappeared into nothing. Even the blankets disappeared. She decided to run in the direction she was facing.
"Inuyasha! Where are you?!" she yelled into the darkness, glancing back and forth as she ran. The winds howled like wolves as lightning struck the ground. Kagome screamed and fell down. She slid twenty feet, and then all was calm. She rose up on her knees, rubbing her head. She didn't hear any sound.
"Did...did I hit the ground so hard that I knocked the hearing out of me?" she asked out loud. She heard her voice and sighed in relief that the storm subsided. She dusted herself off and stood up. There, not twenty feet away, stood Inuyasha. His clothes looked torn to pieces. Blood caked his whole body. It dripped off his fingers onto the ground. His ears laid down, looking dead.
Kagome gasped. "Inuyasha?" She took a step forward. Inuyasha weakly raised his head up. His eyes were glazed. Dried blood stuck to his mouth. He looked like someone had beaten him pretty badly. He looked at Kagome and a tiny light flickered in his eyes. He coughed up some blood, then tried to speak.
"Ka-Kagome…help…I'm-"Inuyasha sputtered. He couldn't say any more, because at that moment, the thunder screamed in anger. Lightning lit up the sky like the sun. The wind hit them with such great force, that Kagome fell down. She put her hands over her head and glanced up at Inuyasha. He tried to keep talking, but the strange light appeared all around him and whisked him up into the air. He flew off into the darkness as Kagome screamed his name.'
Kagome rose up from the water, coughing and wheezing. She had fallen asleep in the water and had almost submerged her head under. She frantically looked for a towel with her hand, blindly trying to find it. Soap had scorched her eyes when she opened them.
She finally found the towel and scrubbed her eyes. It burned like fire as she tried soothing them. She rubbed them one more time and laid the towel down on the floor. She stared at the bubbles in the tub, heart still beating from the second nightmare in a row. This time, she was able to hear a small bit what he was saying to her.
'That was twice now that I had dreamt that. What does it mean? Is fate just laughing in my face that I don't have him anymore? But, it felt so real. And, he asked for help too. Help from what? From the cursed nightmare that I created? But, how could I stop elements like wind or thunder? Or even lightning for that matter. Why did I dream that...' Kagome shook her head and started washing off.
She got out of the tub and wrapped a towel around her. She walked over to the mirror and just stared at it. She could tell that sleep had not been so kind to her. She opened the mirror and took out some sleeping pills. She sat them on the vanity and closed the mirror.
When she got dressed, Kagome started to walk over toward Sango's house for the party. She had some gifts in her hand. They were all new kimonos for them. Wolfi greeted her at the edge of the driveway.
"Hey Kagome glad you could make it. I'll take those for you." He grabbed the presents and started off into the house. Kagome smiled. "Hey, I won't be able to stay long. I took some sleeping pills." Wolfi looked over at her. "Pills? You can't sleep?" she shook her head. "No. I keep having nightmares. Weird ones. Like Inuyasha being taken away from me again."
"Damn that sounds awful. Well, you have about an hour and a half before those pills take effect. So, let's go in and let them open presents and eat cake." Kagome smiled and nodded.
In Sango's house, it looked like a great party. Balloons of different colors littered the ceiling. Streamers and banners strung up over the walkway. On the far right of the room was a long fold up table. It held all the presents. There were several presents, which made Flame jiggle with anticipation. The kids weren't allowed in the kitchen, for that was where the cake and other goodies were being made. Smells of sugar, cinnamon, and cake filled Kagome's nose. She started to drool. It all smelled so delicious.
Raven saw Kagome and ran over to her. "Hi mommy! When can we open presents?" Kagome looked down at her and replied, "Soon. It shouldn't be too much longer." Raven smiled and ran off toward the other kids. Kagome couldn't help but feel sad. It was her first birthday and Inuyasha wasn't here to see it. It was hard, but Kagome drew in a deep breath, and walked over to the couch and sat down.
Ten minutes later, everyone was sat down in the living room. The four kids cheered when Sango brought out the cake singing happy birthday. Everyone joined in. she sat the cake down. It was a beautiful cake. It was a yellow cake, with white whipped frosting. On it, it had a picture of a wolf. The letters said, 'Happy Birthday Raven, Flame, Midnight, and Rose.' It was a perfect cake.
Sesshomaru stared at the cake the whole time when the kids opened their presents. Beautiful kimonos, bath wash, art supplies, and toys littered the ground in piles. They were all excited and thanked everyone for them. Izumi smiled.
"All right now we eat!" Wolfi cut the cake and handed a piece to everyone. The all drooled and savored the taste. Homemade cake tastes a lot better than the store bought kind.
Kagome swallowed down milk with the last bite of cake. She started to feel drowsy. She sat her plate and cup down. "I am sorry everyone, but I need to go back and rest. I have been having nightmares and did not get much sleep. Happy birthday everyone." She got up off the couch. Raven ran over to her and hugged her.
"Thank you mommy for getting me that black and white kimono. It is pretty." Kagome hugged her back. "You're welcome. Now, go and play now. I love you Raven."
"I love you too mommy." Raven ran back over to her friends and started to hook up the Xbox that they got. Kagome smiled at them, and then left. She didn't get no more than ten feet from the house when Wolfi came out.
"Hey Kagome. I got you something. I know it ain't your birthday, but I wanted to give this to you. I made it myself." He held out a small canvas. On it was her and Inuyasha in each other's arms, staring directly forward. He had painted a photo of them that they took two years ago. Kagome reached out for it. She stared at it and started to cry.
"I.. it's beautiful… I don't know what to say… thank you Wolfi." She sniffed. Wolfi wrapped his arms around her. "Hey, you're welcome Hun. I know it may seem impossible, but don't give up yet. He still has to be out there. Just don't give up." Kagome nodded and hugged him back.
Wolfi let go of her and smiled at her. "Well, goodnight Hun. We'll see you tomorrow." Kagome waved goodbye and walked back to Wolfi's house where sleep took ahold of her.
Demkra: Dang I feel better now that I went to the doctors.
Ren: That's good. Your cough was horrible.
Izu: Yeah, it was bad.
Inu: So, what happened to me?
Demkra: The author never reveals it until the chapter is made. So, just chill man.
Inu: DAMMIT! (Runs and has a tantrum.)
Kag: Well, so far, it's sad.
Demkra: I know. And this sad story takes me longer than my other story.
Mir: Why?
Demkra: I'm more of a funny dawg than a sad dawg. But I have to say, this story ain't bad.
San: Yeah, but it's bad in a sad way.
Demkra: Yep. Well, stay tuned for the next chapter y'all!
