A/N: My second Fred/Angie oneshot! Excitement! I was so in love with this idea, so I thought 'why not post it?'

So, here it is. Hypothetically Speaking.

Set: End of fifth year.

"Angie, have you seen my jacket?"

"What jacket?"

"The one you ripped off me last night before you lead me towards your bed-"

"Careful, Fred. Alicia may actually take you seriously." I grinned.

"Oh whatever, Angie. I'm late for an appointment with my hairdresser." Alicia gave me a hug, then left.

"She's really off to snog George." Fred's warm breath lingered on my neck as he whispered in my ear. I blushed a little, and continued searching for his jacket.

"So… Now that Alicia isn't around, we can talk about what really happened last night."

I chucked my sock at Fred's face, but he caught it and laughed.

"Nothing happened."

"But if something did happen, you'd be embarrassed. You wouldn't want to tell your friends."

"Fred, nothing is happening-"

"Okay… Hypothetically speaking," Fred grinned cheekily, "we're going out."

"But-"

"Hypothetically."

I narrowed my eyes. "Where is this going?"

"Nowhere. Just curious…" Fred shrugged.

"Right. And after all these years, I'd trust your word…" I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah well, you should. Anyway, so hypothetically speaking we're dating."

"Okay…" I muttered.

"Would you tell Alicia, or would you be too embarrassed?"

"Depends. How long have we been hypothetically dating?"

"A few weeks…" Fred shrugged. "Maybe more."

"Right. Well, I'd definitely tell Alicia. She'd probably urge us to be hypothetically married." I joked. Alicia was keen on Fred and me as a couple…

Funnily enough, Fred didn't laugh. He just sort of stared at me and asked:

"Well, would you hypothetically marry me if I hypothetically asked?"

His green eyes sparkled. I bit my lip. Hypothetically married to Fred? Next thing you know, we'll have hypothetical children running around!

But would that really be so bad?

"I… I guess. Hypothetically, of course."

"Yes. Hypothetically." He gazed into my eyes. It was as though he was seeing my soul, but I didn't mind. I liked it…

"What was the point of all this, Fred?" I whispered.

"To see if I'd ever have a chance with you."

I held my breath. Was this just another prank? Or was he serious? Did Fred really like me?

"What was your… conclusion?" I asked.

"Do you want to go out for dinner on Friday?" Fred ignored my question. "We might have a bit of a talk about stuff…"

"Like what?" I breathed.

Fred kissed me on the cheek. "Like that."

Oh. My. God.

"I'll pick you up at eight." He smiled, before leaving.

Me and… Fred? Surely not… though now that I though about it, Angelina was, hypothetically, a brilliant name.

A/N: Did you like it?

Take a bit of time to comment, and I'll really appreciate it, but please, no flames.

Thanks! : )
