Gon was in the midst of his daily nen exercises when he felt two familiar nen signatures approaching his house. He opened his eyes and grinned at two white-haired blobs in the distance.
"Killua! Wind!"
"Gon!" One of the figures waved back as they both began to run towards him and soon, Gon could see their faces clearly. They both had a massive grin on their face, but... Gon swore a tooth just gleamed behind Killua's grin…
Smiling a cheesy grin, Gon began to back away. "How was the trip to the village? Did you manage to find the shop?"
Wind opened her mouth to reply, but Killua cut her off. "The trip was great. It was SOO great. Since you know, you SENT US INTO THE FOREST!"
The taller boy pounced, but Gon was already running away, and all he got was a mouthful of grass.
"Aunt Mito must've given you the wrong map!"
"Wrong map! It can't even be called a map!" Killua got up and began to chase Gon. "It was a kid's doodle!"
They began to run faster and faster, until the only thing anyone could see was a whirlwind of dust and random shouting.
"YOU NEARLY GOT US LOST AND KILLED…"
"…TOO STRONG TO BE KILLED…"
"…RAINED ON…"
"…NOT MY FAULT A STORM…"
"…GOOGLEY-EYED MOTHS…"
"…NOT EVEN HARMLESS…"
"…CREEPY GOOGLEY-EYES…"
And then, suddenly, the dirt stopped flying, and Killua had Gon in a headlock. "You sent us to the wrong place on purpose, didn't you?"
"Hehehe… of course I didn't… don't you trust me?" Gon twisted his head around to look at Killua and let a little bit of Girl Gon shine through his eyes. Killua immediately let go and shot away.
"Don't do that!"
Girl Gon looked at him fully. "Do what?"
Killua grimaced and looked away with closed eyes. "That! What you're doing now!" He pointed accusingly in Gon's general direction.
"But I'm not doing anything!" Gon protested, normal again. And then he looked at where Killua was, and chuckled evilly.
At the sudden change of tone, Killua opened his eyes to look at Gon. But all he saw was white. Killua frowned. Was he going blind? Had his eyes burned so much from whatever Gon keeps doing that his eyes had just stopped working?
A voice suddenly interrupted his reverie. "Killua, I know my dress is really shiny and smooth and comfy, but you can stop burying your head into my sleeve now."
He slowly creaked his head, and saw Wind smiling exasperatedly at him, face millimetres away.
Killua froze.
"What?! Ice-block mode? From staring at my sleeve? What?! I don't get it!" Wind punched Killua hard. "Killua! Snap out of it!"
Gon watched with interest. Before, Killua only went into ice-block mode if Wind had done something especially adorable, or if he suddenly realised that they were in a couple-y mood. Now, even when he was there with them, just by looking at Wind closely…
He chuckled evilly some more. He knew it! That storm had worked! Something had happened! He needed to tell Aunty Mito now so they could set up a plan to get all the details!
And so Gon raced into the house, abandoning Wind to unfreeze Killua all by herself (which obviously wasn't going to work, since she was staring deep into Killua's eyes while poking his head to wake him up).
Wind's view
I sighed as I poked Killua in the head. It had already been five minutes since he froze, and he still hadn't recovered. Peering into his eyes but seeing nothing but blank iciness, I sighed and stood up to hoist my bag onto my bag before giving Killua one last, hard poke into head.
Still nothing.
Even after poking that gave him a very dark, very purple bruise on his head…
Maybe I should find a way to call Leorio and ask him what was wrong with Killua nowadays, always freezing like this.
I sighed once more for good measure, before picking Killua up resignedly and walking into Gon's house. Once inside, I went to the kitchen and dumped him unceremoniously into the nearest chair.
He unfroze as he thumped down and frowned at me.
"What was that for?!"
I scowled, slinging my bag onto a chair next to me before plonking myself down across the table from Killua.
"What was that for? I had to carry you inside from where you were frozen outside! And you were heavy!"
Killua made a face at me. "I'm a growing boy, so of course I'd be heavy."
I snorted. "Growing, alright. Growing sideways from all that chocolate, I mean."
"You can never get fat from chocolate!" Killua struck a pose. "Chocolate gives you energy! Chocolate refreshes the mind and makes you happy! Chocolate… IS THE MEANING OF LIFE!"
I waved a hand. "Yeah, yeah, whatever you say… will chocolate make that bruise on your head fade too?"
Killua smirked. "Of course." Then his smirk faded. "What bruise?"
I laughed. "Check a mirror, and you'll see. Besides, the meaning of life isn't chocolate. It's 42."
As Killua wandered off, looking for a mirror and muttering about how '42 didn't make sense and how could it be the meaning of life when it was obviously chocolate', Gon leaned against the sink with a cup of water and looked at me curiously.
I looked at him in puzzlement. "What?"
Gon shrugged. "Aren't you super strong, Wind? Killua shouldn't have been that heavy, right?"
"Not really… but as if I was going to pass up an opportunity to pay him back for all his ice-block modes!" I poked a tongue out at Gon, who laughed and then sighed and muttered something.
I looked at him suspiciously.
"Gon, did you just say 'poor Killua'?"
Gon looked at me innocently. "No, I didn't."
I frowned at him suspiciously. That was his innocent look whenever he lied…
"Well," I began to say airily, "it's not like it's hard on poor Wind, who has to always drag her frozen friend around everywhere. It's just Killua, who hasn't done anything, right, Gon?"
Gon began to protest. "No! It's poor Wind too, but more so Killua, because you may suffer physically, but Killua's suffering mentally!" Gon looked like he wanted to tear his hair out. "I mean, it's just so sad, seeing him – "
A white blur suddenly came out of nowhere and clamped a hand over Gon's mouth.
"What are you saying, Gon?" Killua smiled sweetly. "I'm not suffering anything, am I?"
Gon looked at Killua and smiled sheepishly, muttering things against Killua's hand, still clamped over his mouth.
I huffed. "You just ruined my grand plan for getting Gon to tell me things!" I poked my tongue out at the white-haired boy, who immediately leaped over the table.
"Says the one who gave me this massive purple bruise on my head!" He shoved his forehead into my face, one finger pointing accusingly at it.
"Not bad, this bruise." I nodded with mock approval, grinning at Killua. "It's taken up the whole middle bit of your forehead. A fine specimen indeed."
Just as Killua was about to retort, Gon came over and touched the compass hanging from Killua's neck.
"This necklace is pretty! Where did you get it?"
Killua looked over and grinned. "From the guy who sold us the computer. He's awesome."
"Yeah! You use nen to spin the compass," I continued, "and it'll point to wherever you want to go!"
"And because you weren't there…" Killua's grin turned cat-like. "You. Can't. Have. One." Cat-Killua laughed at a slightly crest-fallen Gon.
"Maybe next time we visit, he'll give you one too." I took mine out too. "Killua, since we have these things, do you want to somehow set it so that the three of us can always find each other?"
Killua nodded. "Maybe we can do it so that one of us can set it to Gon?" We turned to look at Gon, who was shaking his head.
"It's okay. I'm usually with one of you, and I can always sniff you out, so don't worry about setting it to me. Just set it to each other."
Killua and I looked at each other and shrugged.
"Okay."
"If you say so."
And so we set our compasses to permanently point to the other, Gon giggling non-stop next to us the entire time.
"What's so funny?" Killua asked absentmindedly, as he held the compass to test it out. The silver end swung towards me. "Hey, it worked!"
"Lemme try!" I held mine up too, and the silver pointed at Killua. "It really does work! Okay, now let me try finding Aunt Mito."
I concentrated my nen, and the compass swung until the gold end pointed towards the ceiling. "Okay… now to stop my nen…" The needle hung straight before the silver swung back to Killua.
"It works! It really does work!" I grinned at Killua, who grinned back, before hauling a still-laughing Gon up the stairs. "Let's go set up the computer now!"
With that, I proceeded to drag the laughing Gon up the stairs, who, with every bump of the stairs, just laughed even harder.
Gon couldn't stop laughing. He tried, he really did, but somehow… every time he looked at Killua, the laughing just bubbled up until it could not be contained anymore and it just cascaded out.
How did Killua not notice that he and Wind were now connected to each other?! Those compasses were now set to the two of them permanently. Regardless of where they were! Killua could now track exactly where Wind was at any given time, at any given place, despite any type of separation and distance.
And he didn't even realise!
Gon's back bumped into a stair, which caused him to look down, which caused him to look at Killua following him, which caused him to laugh even more.
Sometimes, he despaired for his assassin friend.
He wiped tears from his eyes, and wondered whether those tears were from his amusement or his frustration.
I sat in the corner, idly blowing bubbles in the pineapple flavoured drink that Aunt Mito had brought up for us, kind aunty that she was. The boys had banned me from touching anything even remotely related to that beloved computer of theirs. Just because I had accidentally dropped the keyboard and made the corner break or something...
I blew into my straw a bit too hard, and my juice flew everywhere. I quickly glanced over to the corner, where Gon was still trying to connect two parts of their computer together. Killua, however… was rolling on the floor laughing.
"Are you laughing at me, Killua?!" I made a face at him while I wiped juice off my face.
Killua sniggered. "Of course not. I would never laugh at you."
I glared at him and shot him a mini pellet of air, ruffling his hair.
"Hey!"
I made a face at him just as Gon finally connected the cords together, and the screen magically lit up.
"I did it!" Gon threw his hands in the air and flopped to the floor. "It's on! It's on! This is so cool!" He wriggled on the floor happily. Killua laughed and pushed Gon with his foot.
"About time!"
Gon chuckled and tickled the offending foot. "Just because I'm not a rich boy with heaps of computers at home!"
I laughed as they began to wrestle around and walked over to the computer. "So… let's see what it can do!" I leaned over the keyboard and pressed the 'Enter' key. No response. I pressed again. No response. And so I began to button spam the computer, until the keyboard was yanked out from under my hands.
"Don't do that, Wind!" Killua was busy checking the keyboard for damage. "Button spam does nothing except break the keyboard and maybe the program!"
I shrugged. "Well… it wasn't doing anything anyway."
"So?! You wait!" Having finally finished checking the keyboard, he tentatively pressed a button. No response.
Gon looked on with trepidation. "Is it… broken?" He asked worriedly.
The paler boy frowned. "Hopefully Wind didn't do anything to it…"
"Hey! Don't just assume that I did something!" I protested.
"Well…" The two boys turned to look at me in unison.
"First, you jammed a few keys in the keyboard when you dropped it earlier," Killua began.
"And then," Gon continued, "you practically broke the mouse when you tried to connect it to the computer."
"Just before we banned you, you were about to hit the computer to get it to switch on faster."
"And now, you might have stuffed up the computer by button-mashing."
They sighed in unison. "And you tell us not to assume anything?" Killua asked, eyebrow raised.
I blinked. Did I really do all that? That was kinda impressive.
The screen blinked, and they sighed in relief. Killua turned towards the screen.
"I'll finish setting it up, and then we can start."
"Okay!" And then Gon turned towards me.
"Wind… aren't you supposed to be good at computers?" He tilted his head, perplexed. "I mean, you're the imperial princess and in charge of the intelligence and everything. Shouldn't you be really good with computers and electronic things?"
I flopped onto the floor. "It's the pineapple withrdrawal,"I drawled and rolled around. "I need my pineapple… It's been so long…"
"But… we don't have pineapple on Whale Island. And the most pineapple-y thing we have, you already drank."
I groaned and looked blearily up at Gon. "I really need my pineapple… I just… can't function… without…"
Gon looked at me concernedly. "But Whale Island really doesn't have any pineapple. I don't know how I'm going to find you some, Wind."
Killua looked unconcerned. "Gon, stop trying. As if she's in withdrawal. She's got stashes of pineapple in her house tent thing."
"You do?" Gon poked me in the cheek and pouted. "You were making excuses?" He pouted some more.
I laughed sheepishly as I sat up. "You caught me…I really do need pineapple in my life though."
"That doesn't explain why you're bad at electronic stuff."
"Well…" I scratched my head. "People don't really do things electronically in Avril." And I didn't really have a chance to touch many technological things on Earth either, being too sick and all.
Killua looked thoughtfully up from the screen. "Now that you mention it… everything in Avril is analogue, hey. You use scrolls and inkwells and stuff."
"Yeah. People just don't do electronics in Avril. They prefer to write and stuff."
"Is it because you guys have so many powers, it affects the electronics a bit?" Gon asked.
"Maybe." I looked at him. "I haven't actually thought of that before… but it could be! I know that when we do use computers though, that they're all really strong and durable… so it could be that!"
Killua made a face. "What would you do then, if there were no computers and you couldn't play games?"
I laughed. "You play outdoor games! You read! Most people read quite a bit as a hobby."
"Reading's so boring though." Killua made another face.
"Reading's better for your brain than sitting in front of a computer though." I smiled. "Avril literacy is the best in the world, so all that reading does help!"
The white-haired boy made one more face, before turning back to the computer to key in random codes.
"But then," he asked over his shoulder, "don't you have that weird computer thing that looks like a rock? That's definitely not a book you're lugging around."
I started. "You mean F.R.O.G.? That was something specially designed for me. Virtually indestructible and has both games and books on it so I can choose what to do. So technically, I'm still reading."
Killua sighed. "Yeah yeah… I know reading's good for you… I just don't like it…"
"You shouldn't be picky and read more!"
"But..."
The computer whirred, and the screen slowly turned into a generic wallpaper picture. Killua began to check every tab, icon and file.
Gon, who had been sitting next to me during the entire discussion, leaned over and whispered, "If he's going to be checking every tab, icon and file in that computer, isn't he going to take a lifetime to finish it?"
"I don't know," I hissed back. "Just let him be. He's the one doing it, anyway."
"Okay…"
And so we began to patiently wait for Killua to finish inspecting the entire contents of the computer. I began to look out the window, where fluffy clouds drifted slowly across the sky. The sun poured in, warming the room while gentle breezes took the warmth away. Closing my eyes, I could hear trees rustling, birds chirping, the gentle clack of the keyboard as Killua typed away…
Killua stretched and rolled his shoulders. He was finally done! Everything was installed, in place, and uncorrupted. He only needed Gon to think of a user name, and everything would be finished.
Cricking his neck, he turned around, and saw Wind and Gon sleeping, heads leaning on each other. He smiled at the sight before grabbing a spare blanket on a nearby chair and covering them up. Gon stirred, turning his head a bit, but Wind stayed still, her only movement a strand of hair in front of her face moving as she breathed softly.
He stayed there for a while, crouching before them, before he heard Aunt Mito shout up for 'one of you, come down and help me with dinner!'
Quickly, he reached out and tucked that strand of hair behind Wind's ear, smoothing out her hair, a knuckle gently brushing a temple, before standing and exiting the room quickly with one last look at the sleeping Wind.
"I'm coming, Aunt Mito!"
"Itadakimasuu~"
In nearly perfect unison, we all picked up our chopsticks and began to eat. And as I ate, I could feel two pairs of eyes looking at me, and at Killua sitting next to me. Furtive whispers weren't helping either.
So, after I finished chewing on my piece of carrot, I looked up, met Aunt Mito and Gon straight in the eye, and said, "You could've just asked us what happened when we went to find the computer shop, instead of whispering around like that."
Aunt Mito looked away with a too-casual laugh. "What do you mean? We weren't talking about you."
Gon looked the other way with a matching laugh. "Exactly. We weren't talking about you at all!"
I sighed. "I can hear you, you know."
Gon looked at me with surprise before making a face. "Oh yeah. I forgot that you could listen in on breezes… So long since you've last done it…"
"Hehehehehe I shouldn't've reminded you then."
"That's not fair! Then you'll listen in on everything we say!"
"As is I would bother doing that! Or would I…?" And then I smirked. "Or… have I?"
I laughed as Gon made another face and kicked me under the table.
Next to me, Killua put down his chopsticks with a satisfied sigh. "That was so good, Aunt Mito!"
She laughed. "Because you helped! It always tastes better when you helped cook it."
Gon and I looked at him in surprise. "What? You helped? When?"
He looked at us. "When you were sleeping and being lazy."
"Not our fault you took so long we fell asleep!"
"Whatever. You need to check thoroughly, so if we have any problems we can go find Fon and ask him for help. Since we can find him now."
"Yeah… I don't even know how we managed to stumble across his shop…" I shook my head. It was so hidden and secret, Killua's nen sensitivity must've been the main thing that had led us to it.
Killua was nodding. "Ah well. At least we managed to find it… his house-shop thing was so cool."
"Yeah! His mushroom soup was so gooooood."
"It was…" Killua nodded sagely. "Better than all the pineapple in your fridge."
"Hey! Don't insult the pineapple!" I pouted and pinched his cheeks. "Pineapple runs the world!"
He tried to grab my cheeks back. "We had what… Three? Four? meals of pineapple! In a row!" Killua said through his teeth.
"We had different types of pineapple! Smoothies, pancakes, cakes, biscuits, tea, as if you could get bored with so many varieties!"
"That's just you!" Killua succeeded in grabbing one cheek, and in doing so, knocked over a cup into a dish. We froze, looked at Aunt Mito, who was sighing, and immediately separated and sat down properly again.
"Sorry…" we muttered.
She sighed again. "It's okay… the cup was empty anyway. But no more wrestling at the table, okay?" She then looked at me. "Especially you, Wind. I thought you would've known better, being a princess and all."
I looked down. "Yes, Aunty Mito…"
"Good." She nodded decisively. "Now… tell me about this pineapple thing. How come you had to eat so much pineapple?"
Killua sighed. "You know how we got stuck in that massive storm?" he began. "Well, turns out Wind has this weird canvas tent thing that the Avril people invented, which can stick to everything and anything and holds practically a house inside. And being the princess and all, Wind's canvas tent is practically a house. So we go in, but because we used the emergency entry, we needed to stay in there for at least twenty-four hours… and being Wind, she only had pineapple in the kitchen."
I shrugged. "When they asked me what I wanted to stock in there, of course I'd stock it up with pineapple."
Gon looked envious. "I want to see the house too!"
I laughed. "I'll set it up for you someday!" Gon immediately perked up and grinned. Then he looked at Killua craftily.
"So… you were both stuck in the house for a day and a half? You could've gotten out faster."
"It was really late when we went into the house, so we thought we'd just stay another night before we came back out to come home," I replied. "Makes sense, rather than trekking through the forest at night."
Gon was still looking craftily at Killua, who shifted slightly and looked away.
"You could've just hidden from the rain, and then come back earlier, right?" Gon continued to ask, eyes never leaving Killua.
Killua spoke up. "The only shelter we could find from that massive storm was a damp, cramped, leaky hollow tree trunk. Everywhere else was flooded."
"Yeah. And since we could get out of the rain, we did." I narrowed my eyes at Gon. Why was he looking at Killua like that…?
Come to think of it… how come Killua looked so uncomfortable with Gon's stare…?
Gon looked away, noticed me staring at him, and suddenly… a pink glow began to grow from behind him.
"I'm just… really glad you're both safe, Wind, Killua." He smiled, and sparkles shone under the bright kitchen lights.
I twitched. This was a ploy! This was a distraction! Don't fall for it, Wind!
And then… soft piano music began to play. I felt Killua suddenly shift under the table. We both looked at each other.
"Excuse us," we chorused. "We're going to go upstairs now. Dinner was really good, Aunt Mito!" We smiled at a happy-looking Aunt Mito, slowly edged towards the stairs, and bolted.
As we ran, I could hear Gon laughing. I sighed.
Who knew Gon had such an evil streak in him?
The minute the pair disappeared, Gon whipped around to face Aunt Mito, Girl Gon hair whooshing out in a perfect hair fan.
Aunt Mito sighed. "Gon, hair."
"Oh… sorry…" Girl Gon faded, and soon, aunt and nephew were grinning evilly at each other.
"Something must have happened last night." Gon declared.
Aunt Mito nodded. "That house story of theirs… they're not saying a lot about it, are they?" Gon nodded in agreement. "I don't even know if I can trust it… that house story is too convenient."
Gon shook his head mid-nod. "No, the stuff in Wind's bag is actually quite amazing. The house is actually probably a real thing."
Aunt Mito raised her eyebrows. "Really."
"Really. And if she says house, it'll include everything. Including kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and probably a library and stuff, depending on how she set it."
Aunt Mito's jaw dropped in amazement. Then a word of what Gon just said registered in her mind.
"Did you say bathroom?"
Gon nodded.
"Bedroom?"
Gon nodded again. "Aunt Mito… what are you…" His eyes widened in realisation. "Wait… do you mean…"
The smile Aunt Mito gave him looked exactly like Killua's cat face.
"They would've had to share a bathroom… and a bedroom… and cooking together for meals… and hanging out with each other for the rest of the time…"
"Hehehehe… and knowing Wind…" Gon's eyes were on fire. "Killua would have never taken the bed, and she would never sleep on the bed if Killua slept on the floor. She would've joined him… them… sharing a pile of pillows and cushions and blankets on the floor…"
Their laughs mingled with creepy harmony. Their eyes turned towards the staircase at which the pair disappeared.
And Gon's grandmother sat there, observing the pair with a sigh as she sipped her tea.
I lay on my back, staring idly at a spider spinning a small web in the corner of the room, the strands reflecting the light of the lamp sitting next to the computer.
Killua was clacking away at the computer yet again. When I had complained, he said he had to polish a couple of things. I suspected that it was more to cover up the occasional creepy laughter coming from downstairs.
This trip to Whale Island was proving more enriching than I thought. Finding out about Girl Gon, finding Fon's shop, finding out about the secret conspiracies between Gon and Aunt Mito...
Especially when Aunt Mito was so responsible and caring too.
The anime was so deceiving.
The spider in the corner put its final strand in place, and disappeared back into the shadows. I sighed and rolled over… causing the computer box sitting next to the desk to fall over as my leg hit it on accident.
All the paper wrapping and foam pellet things whooshed out like an avalanche and spilled all over the floor.
Killua didn't even glance down. Until a foam pellet hit his cheek.
He ignored it.
A second one hit his ear. I could see a twitch forming on his temple. I chucked a third pellet at his head, and this one managed to hit the side of his nose.
"Stop it!" He glared at me. "I'm nearly done, just wait a bit."
I just stuck my tongue out at him, stirring the breeze to make all the paper fly gently around the room. Which then uncovered a small box within all the paper.
Directing the wind to drop all the paper back into the computer box, I picked up this mysterious box, which had To: Wind written on it in large bold writing.
So I opened it. After all, it has my name on it.
Inside was a mobile phone, looking more like a normal mobile than the massive beetles that Gon and Killua used. And a note from Fon, saying that as a princess from Avril, I needed an appropriate phone, and that I'd paid for it when we used our Hunter cards to pay for the computer, so it was all good and that we should drop by sometime again.
Nice guy, Fon. He even said that he'd given me a discount on the phone!
And now… time to learn how to use the phone.
Half an hour later, I finally finished setting up my phone. Fon had already said that it was the simplest yet most technologically advanced model he had. If he meant simple as in, touch the screen and things will happen…
Though, looking at Killua's clunky beetle phone made my head hurt. Fon's elegant rectangle of a phone did have a help button to explain everything, the colour of the phone somehow or other matched my dress, and there was even a pineapple charm dangling off it. The best thing was, the pineapple flashed when I got a message, and lit up when I got a call.
And… the pineapple was flashing now.
I slowly fumbled my way to the messages, where I had 83 messages unread.
I sighed, and began to slowly read them, one at a time.
WIND! Why don't you have a phone yet? Even I got one... but hehehehe Jeb got annoyed at me being fail so he installed this mind text sending thing. I don't get it, but if I want to, I just think at you and you'll get my message even when you have no phone…
… omgsh I'm so bored Kurapika's being emo and leaving me behind…
… FINALLY SOMETHING TO DO!...
… Kurapika's gotten more emo again. He hasn't smiled since forever…
... this is creepy, Wind but he needs my help sigh all the things I
I frowned. Dusky never cut off a sentence like that. I tried to keep reading, but that was it.
And if this was a thought thing, then it made no sense for her to cut off like that either… Unless she fell asleep… or something happened.
A foreboding feeling came over me. What day was it today? I knelt and looked over Killua's shoulder, down at the date in the corner.
No. It couldn't be.
I quickly stood and called Dusky. A beeping noise let me know the call connected… but no one picked up.
I hung up, and frowned. What had Fon said about satellite tracking on this phone…?
Quickly finding the page, I tried to be as fast as possible as I activated the satellite tracking to find Dusky. A few seconds later, a soft beeping issued as a red dot glowed on top of a city on the world map.
I zoomed in to see the words above the dot clearer.
York Shin.
Dusky was in York Shin. She was with Kurapika. Her message got interrupted.
I took a deep breath and opened my mouth.
And then closed it.
Killua, who had already been looking at me the minute I knelt up to look at the date, raised an eyebrow.
I looked at him, took a deep breath, and opened my mouth.
Guys. Yes. It has been YEARS. LIKE OMG, I'M IN UNI AND THE LAST TIME I UPDATED THIS I WAS LIKE, IN YEAR 10 OR SOMETHING.
I've never really left the fanfiction scene (as people who read the other fic I have know...) so I'm kinda wallowing in SHAME AND GUILT AND OMG YOU GUYS JUST KILL ME. I'm not expecting many people to read this chapter, but just know that yes, I vowed myself (when I started ff) not to abandon a story, and so, uh, even if I am preoccupied by my other stories and real life (like uni assessments in week 5 wtf) I still love you all.
It's 5000 words, and hate me all you like. Give me hate reviews. I deserve them! (but tell me if this is really crap or not? I think I'll just sit in front of the laptop cringing at the reviews for a few days before actually clicking them from the guilt, so if I don't reply much, that's probably why)
okay.
click the review button down there and feel free to slay me about... now. (yeah, I put in a cliffie too. Just because it's like a habit. Err. Yeah.)
