Disclaimer: I don't own anything.
I got a lot of reviews on my last Percabeth oneshot so I decided to write another one! I hope you like it! Some parts may sound OOC, I haven't really gotten the hang of Percy and Annabeth's personality. Please don't flame me!
"Wake up!"
Annabeth was standing at the door of her cabin, along with Malcolm, the assistant counselor of the Athena cabin. Though the two were trying their hardest to wake everyone up, they were unsuccessful. The residents of the Athena cabin just kept snoring away.
Annabeth sighed. "Can I leave you to them? I'm a little impatient today."
"Why?" Malcolm asked, raising his eyebrows in curiosity. "Going to meet Percy?" he sniggered.
As much as Annabeth wanted to punch him, she didn't, because she was meeting Percy down at the beach before breakfast.
"Yeah," she muttered, her cheeks turning pink. "thanks Malcolm!"
Malcolm nodded after her as Annabeth closed the door. The last thing she heard was, "Wake up!" She rolled her eyes. Leave it to Malcolm to do everything that Annabeth did in a better way.
She jogged at medium-pace. Firstly, because she had just woken up, and secondly, because she couldn't wait to see her boyfriend.
It took a while for Annabeth to reach the beach, and when she did, she found Percy sitting on a picnic blanket, his head between his knees.
"Hey, I'm sorry," Annabeth murmured, taking the hair tie out of her hair and letting it flow down her shoulders. "everyone in the Athena cabin didn't wake up on time."
Percy looked up and grinned. "It's okay. Everyone in the Poseidon cabin didn't wake up on time, either."
"Oh, really, Seaweed Brain," Annabeth mused, taking a seat at where Percy was patting his hand. "anyway, what was it you wanted to show me?"
"It's Saint Patrick's Day, isn't it?" Percy asked, his green eyes boring into Annabeth's gray ones.
Yeah, it is, Annabeth thought, and your eyes are the main color...
"Right?" Percy prompted.
"Yeah," Annabeth said, nodding importantly. "what's so special about it? We never celebrate Saint Patrick."
"Well this is the first Saint Patrick's day I've spent with you," Percy said, giving Annabeth a little wink. He reached over and pulled a bunch of grass from the beach's shoreline.
Annabeth's expression of adoring turned to something like Oh my gods, Percy!
"Happy St. Patrick's Day!" Percy said, grinning widely as he dumped a load of clovers onto Annabeth's pretty blonde hair.
"That's not funny!" Although she was laughing.
Percy got up and started chasing Annabeth, only stopping when Annabeth gave up and fell in the sand. She was completely overwhelmed. Annabeth could feel Percy's warm, welcome breath on her neck as he lay on top of her.
"I feel absolutely lucky today," Annabeth said, blinking to keep Percy's eyes in focus.
"I feel lucky everyday."
"Oh, shut up," Annabeth said, and kissed him.
They were so busy laughing with their arms around each other that they hadn't noticed Malcolm, who had come to tell them that breakfast really was ready.
"I don't think they have their appetites anymore," Malcolm muttered, and ran off to tell Chiron that they overslept.
