Here's a new story! I usually write for Camp Rock, but I love reading High School Musical stories, so I decided to try one myself. This is really short, but it's just in introduction to the real story. Hope you like it! By the way, the schools are fictional, I made up the names in a dream. Lol, you'll see more later.
Disclaimer: I do not own HSM, I would never be able to think of all those songs and dance moves XD
"What makes you think you're better than us?" the blonde bimbo demanded.
"I transferred from Hill!" Oh. Shit.
Everyone gasped. Then it was silent. Silent for a long time.
Okay, let's backtrack to a few months beforehand. Before that, though, I need to fill you in.
Oakwell Academy is a school for…teens who need help. From drug addictions to behavioral problems, it's not your average school. Also, it's a boarding school, so I get to enjoy these people all day, every day. Fun.
Now why would I want to go to Oakwell if I had a choice, you ask. It's all because of Troy. I originally went to Hillcrest Academy, nicknamed The Hill, or simply Hill. That may be because it is situated on a huge hill that looms over the rest of the town, reflecting on its 'superiority' over the normal kids. Only the brightest and the best went to Hill. Such as me, Gabriella Anne Montez.
I was supposed to be the one to succeed, to be the levelheaded one, not to let people or things distract me from graduating top of my class at one of the top schools. Too bad they were all wrong.
Troy Alexander Bolton…there are no words to describe him. Sure, he may come off a bit rough, but once you get to know him…It's not that simple. We aren't your average teenagers in love. No, I'm the most prestigious person at my school for my excellence at learning, and Troy…Troy doesn't have the best track record. Theft, drugs, other things the cops haven't caught him doing yet. It's a shame though. A shame my parents forbade me from seeing him. A shame my friends look down on him.
A shame I ran away for him.
Now, instead of having weekly tests to measure my progress in advanced courses, I have daily guidance lessons to try and lead me in the right direction. It's not fun at all, but I can't complain. If I even mention Hillcrest, the counselors (that's what they call the teachers) would be scrapping up all my records, finding out I ran away from home and will most likely report it then turn me in to my parents. It's not that bad, though. I do have Troy, after all.
But what happens when he doesn't want me?
To clear up some confusion, I'm going to tell you about Gabriella and Troy's relationship. They like each other, but Troy is trying to be all 'bad boy' and not pay attention to her. Gabi feels like she sacrificed her schooling potential for nothing. You'll see more in later chapters. ;)
I may not update a lot since I have 3 Camp Rock stories going on. Yes, I know I'm stupid, but I had to write the story. Get this, I dreamt it. I had a dream that I was at some school and the person was grading something and I got fed up and talked back. Then the begining happened. My dream was rather vague, so I'm making up everything else. It was just a basis.
I had no idea what movie this should be from, I was between Camp Rock and HSM, but I decided HSM because Gabi is smart so she'd fit in at Hill and Troy could be made badass, lol, so he'd fit in Oakwell.
Please review! I might be motivated to type more faster!
