The first week of their holiday had passed, they had a great time with their family, Aimee had a new love interest her cousin Tommy's best Friend style Jason was 18 almost 19 and Aimee had spent some time with her cousin and his friend, unfortunately Tommy and Laura hadn't left her alone with style Although Aimee was having this great time the exam fiasco was always on the back of her style She had spoken to Chlo and Maxine about it and they both felt the same.

Holly loved spending time with her Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, so far, they had been to Edmonton and the Calgary stampede, and now they were going to the Rockies This was usually Holly's favourite place to go as she loved to climb, but she was felling very nervous about it.
Rachel and the girls were staying in the basement of Margaret and James house, they had a large bungalow which had the basement renovated into 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.

Rachel had one room and the girls shared the other Holly was nervous, she had packed her backpack with clothes for a week, and walked into her mums' room.

"Good Morning Sweetheart" Rachel was sitting on her bed brushing her hair, she could see Holly wasn't happy so patted the bed for her to sit Rachel stroked her hair "what's wrong sweetie?"
"I don't want to go climbing and Laura keeps on bugging me to go with her"

"You don't have to go if you don't want to" Rachel said kissing the top of her head

"Do you think I should go?"

"I think, that is a decision that only you can make, but I do think it was something you loved to do and I'm sad that you can't enjoy it anymore"

"Are you going to climb with them, you loved it too?"

"I didn't love it, your father loved it and I loved him, but if you want to climb and you want me there then I will come"

Holly didn't say anything for a while, she just sat in silence

"I don't want to" she said suddenly

"OK, you can come with me, Grandma, Aimee and Aunt Kate we are going to the hot springs instead" Aimee smiled at her mother.

Later in the morning Katie and Joseph arrived, both of their partners would be at work, Laura was Katies daughter and Tommy was Josephs son, Katie, Joseph and James were all taking their cars on the trip, Rachel would be setting off with Katie, James and Margaret were in their car and Joseph had the job of taking the 4 teenagers, whilst the back seat and boots of the other cars were filled with all their things.

Tommy was sitting in the front of the car with his Father, whilst the 3 girls were in the back with Holly in the middle of her older sister and older cousin

"So are you going to come climbing" Laura asked again

"No" Holly replied with force

"Oh, come on, I will be the only girl, please" Laura asked again

"She said No, will you just leave it" Aimee responded seeing her sister was getting upset

Laura sulked back into her seat and Holly put her headphones in.

The finally arrived in Banff although Laura and Holly had not spoken to one another the whole drive.

"I think the girls have fallen out" Joseph said to Katie and Rachel

"What, why?"

"Laura kept on at Holly to go climbing, eventually Aimee snapped at her"

"I'm sorry Rachel, I told Laura to leave it" Katie style Before they had set off Rachel had spoken to Katie about Holly not wanting to style In truth Rachel thought she was desperate to climb again but she was just too scared

"Don't worry about it, I will speak to her, although not sure how it will work with the 3 of them sharing,"

"Should we move about, I can share with Laura if you want to be with Holly and Aimee"

"No, lets leave them to sort it, they barley see each other, it is nice they can spend some time together" Rachel said

They checked into their hotels, each with a twin room except for the 3 teenage girls Holly and Aimee shared with Laura, Rachel and her sister in law Katie shared, Joseph and his son Tommy shared and Margaret and James had a room.

Katie managed to pull Laura aside before they went up "What happened in the car?"

"I know you said to leave it, but I thought there was no harm in asking one more time, but that was a mistake."

"Look, you know how sad you were when Uncle Trevor died, you didn't go straight back to climbing, and I know you have been excited to make a start this week on a real mountain and not just a wall, but this is 1000 times worse for Holly, she lost her Daddy and seen it all happen I'm sure that one day she will be ready again, but I don't think it will be on this trip"

"OK, Mom, I will apologise".

Aimee and Holly were in the room, there was one double bed and 2 style Aimee had immediately claimed the double.
"Cheer up, just look at the view out of the window" Aimee said to her sister, who had tears forming in her eyes

"I wish Dad was here" she said

"I know me too, but look, don't let Laura upset you, we are going to have so much fun and besides, Dad wouldn't want you crying would he" she said as she placed an arm around her sister shoulder as they stared out of the window. The door creaked open and Laura came into the room with her suit case rolling behind her

"Look, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bug you, can we make up" Laura said as she walked over to the window and Holly put her free arm around her

"Yeah, lets go to Dairy Queen" Holly replied.

The 3 of them told their Mothers where they were off to and head up to the main street They found dairy queen and walked in, they got ice cream cones each and sat at a table, Aimee connected her phone to the Wi-Fi and checked her email, she seen one from the exam board and looked at it worriedly.

"What's wrong?" Holly asked

"The exam board have emailed"

"aww, is its bad news" Laura asked

"I don't know, I'm too scared to open it"

Rachel was sat on the bed of her room, hers and Katies room had 2 queen sized beds and was very large. She too had just connected her phone to WIFI and checked her email, she had also got an email from the exam board with the results of their investigation into Waterloo Road style She opened it with trepidation and her eyes skimmed the email looking for her daughter's name, finally should found it and sighed with relief.

Aimee would be given no award for the 7 essays she plagiarised, but the rest of her exams and course work would still stand, this meant that she wouldn't be getting an A for English, French or Geography, but might still manage a pass at least if she had performed will enough on her exams

"Are you OK?" Katie asked

"Yeah, just heard back from the exam board, Aimee doesn't need to repeat, but she has been given no award for the essays she plagiarised"

"So is that good?"

"It was the best outcome we could hope for, I was fully prepared that she would either be repeating or banned from taking exams again. The essays didn't count for a huge amount, and hopefully she did well enough to muster a pass at least.

"I'll open it" Holly said grabbing her sister's phone, and opening the email before letting out a shriek that caused others in the ice cream parlor to look round

"What is it?"

"You don't need to repeat, they are just giving you no award for the essays"

"So, I might still pass?" Aimee asked grabbing her phone

"Hope so" Holly replied
