I do not own FF III in any way, shape, or form. Luneth and Arc would have made out as soon as their first scene together otherwise.

Emmi: I JUST got FFIII and it is AMAZING! I've been playing it all day and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days as well. Both games are TOTALLY worth the buy and I'm happy I did get them.

Luneth: Can we get on with the story miss?

Emmi: Oh, I almost forget… Heh heh…

Luneth sat in a tree a little ways away from his home with the elder and his wife, Nina. He was watching his friend, Arc, go about his daily life. He was waiting to save him from any torment for the day.

Arc's bullies were waiting for the day that Luneth would turn a blind eye to his 'crush' so they could scare him into submission. It was no secret that Luneth loved the shorter male with all his heart, Arc was just oblivious to it.

Luneth wanted to kiss Arc's (hopefully) soft lips, feel his velvety skin under him, and just hold him and know he was loved back. He quickly shook his head and forced the thoughts away, Arc would never love him like that. Luneth would just watch him forever, harboring an unrequited love for Arc.

Luneth soon heard Arc's cries for help, the bullies were back.

"Hey bookworm! Wanna make a bet? I bet you can't go into the cave north of here you sissy!" Arc was on the ground with two others throwing pebbles at him while the leader teased and taunted the poor boy. He was in tears.

"What's going on here?"

Luneth.

It was no secret that Arc loved Luneth. He was just too unobservant to notice. Arc wanted to feel safe in Luneth's arms forever, to feel the love no one else could give him.

"I told you guys before, leave him alone. Did you listen?"

The three gave a weak chorus of 'no'.

"I'm telling your parents why you have black eyes when I get done."

The torment was over for Arc, but beginning for his tormentors. Each one was escorted home by Luneth, who did indeed explain why each one had a black eye.

"Are you alright now Arc?" Luneth was tending to Arc's minor wounds. Arc was slightly blushing, like he always did when Arc took care of him like this. "I'm fine… You don't have to do this Luneth…"

Luneth smiled, "This is what friends are for, k Arc?" 'Friends, right…' each one thought to themselves, still unaware of how the other felt.

Luneth finished and Arc put his shirt back on. The cycle would continue for awhile more.

Lol; both think the same thing, that the other won't love him. Short and cute…ish. Finally something that isn't Kingdom Hearts, but still in Square's realm…
