I made my way through the crazy crowd at the airport and to the first taxi I saw.
I saw one girl eyeing my cab as it pulled up so with an attitude I stepped right in front of her when the cab stopped and threw my small brown bag in the empty seat to the left of me.
"Where are you heading princess?" The black cab driver with a blue jay baseball hat asked.
"The names Kali Powers" I mumbled as I pulled out my Blackberry to find that text message from my Mother, "and I'm heading for Bathory" I mumbled moments later.
"Okay" He said as he slowly pulled out of the parking spot.
"Hey, aren't you a little young to be travailing?" he asked while peering at me from the rear-view mirror.
"Yes" I said smugly as my face turned into a smile, and then I hid in my hood and leaned on the door.
He didn't ask any more questions.
The whole ride took me about one and a half hours and the whole time I was thinking about my mom.
When I was little my Mom and Dad divorced for reasons of the Elysia, I was switching between houses for a few months then my dad decided to marry a bitch of a step mom, Denalet.
My father loved Denalet very much and Denalet loved him the same but she insisted on me not being with them.
Since I was a rare half-blooded vampire we were against the law but my father said that my mother would not know how to care for me since she was merely human.
After 32 years of being treated like trash my age finally reached 16 (ageing once every two years until the age of 27), Step-bitch was stuck at 32, Dad was stuck at 34, and my mom was sadly aging every minute of everyday which now put her at 66 years old.
My step-mother finally couldn't stand me anymore so she started sending vampire slayers after me, and tried to kill me herself on numerous occasions.
When I told my dad, he didn't believe me; he was blinded by "love."
So I decided to give my mom a call and she texted me and address and sent me a plane ticket so I could sneak out and live with her, and now here I am, about to arrive at me mothers house.
The cab slowly pulled over and I appraised the small one floored house with lots of flower, then I saw her for the first time in 32 years.
My Mother.
