After Tony and Kate got married everything at the office seemed to change. Tony got promoted to his own team in Spain and Kate being his wife went with him. Together they would continue to work together solving crimes within the navy.

I stayed on working for my father, we had a good thing going and it works well for the agency. Abby had become one of my best friends, we were almost inseparable outside of work.

Thinking back to the first time my father met the people who adopted me makes me smile.

"Mom dad I would like you to meet Jethro Gibbs, my biological father."

"It's so nice to meet you. Kelly would speak of you often when she first came to live with us." My mother said hugging him quickly. "I see where Kelly gets her looks from." We all chuckled.

"Good to meet you both. Thank you for taking such good care of her."

"It was out pleasure. She is our little angel." My face flushed three shades darker at her comment.

"Claire why don't you grab the wine you like from the cellar and I'll get everyone into the living room." She nodded at my father as the rest of us walked into the family room. "So Gibbs, you were a marine?"

"Once a marine always a marine."

"Of course. You know agent Fornell speaks very highly of you over at NCIS."

"He's a good agent." Gibbs said in response.

"One of the best." My dad replied. We sat in a tense silence for a while until my mom made her way back in with a bottle of wine and a few beers.

"So anything exciting happening at the museum mom?" I questioned.

"We just got a new exhibit on mummies in yesterday, they will be open to the public next month." I smiled. My mom loved talking about her projects and the things coming into the museum. "How is working going?"

"Good, it's weird not having Tony and Kate around anymore but we are getting a new agent next week."

"Fresh blood in the agency is always a good thing." My dad said and Gibbs agreed.

Every other time the entire group of us meet up things get easier and easier. Gibbs seems less and less grumpy and my dad's actually are becoming friends.

Walking through the mall on a busy Saturday has never been my idea of a good time but Abby insisted we find new outfits for the holiday party coming up next week and really how could I turn a shopping trip with Abby down. "So last year everyone just got drunk how is this year going to be any different?" I question as we walk into the dress store.

"It won't but hey… oh look at this." She said shoving a pretty maroon dress towards me.

"Oh I like this one." I said examining it. "I'm going to try it on." I quickly went into the change room and came back out a few minutes later to show Abby. "This is so comfy." I said swinging my hips a little.

"I'm sorry for interrupting but you look amazing in that dress." A blonde woman who looked about my age said from next to me.

"Oh thank you." I replied.

"Oh my gosh Kelly that looks great you have got to get that one." Abby gushed from in front of me. "You look every part the Gibbs woman that you are." She giggled.

"Parker remember. I haven't been a Gibbs since I was a kid you really need to stop calling me that." I laughed.

"Fine fine fine."

"Okay well I am getting this." I said turning around and changing back into my jeans and cardigan. We wandered towards the till looking at a few other things when the blonde girl appeared in front of me. "Hi."

"I'm sorry again for interrupting but I couldn't help but over hear your friend call you Kelly Gibbs. Now that's impossible for you to be her, I mean unless it's a common name because the Kelly Gibbs from this area she well she died a long time ago and…"

"I used to know you I'm guessing?"

"What?"

"What is your name?" I question.

"Maddie."

"Tyler?"

"Yes." She replied forming it as a bit of a question. "You really are her?"

"I am, it's a long story. But it is good to see you." I said hugging her. Abby stood by watching, not saying anything. "How have you been?"

"Great actually. I am pre-med at Georgetown." She explained. I smiled at my old friend.

"That's awesome, congrats. I am an NCIS Agent, I actually work with Gibbs." I told her.

"Hey lunch is on me." Abby said directing both of us towards the restaurants on the other end of the mall.

As a group we sat together eating and laughing about the past. It was fantastic having my old friend back. I hadn't even thought of her for years, keeping her in the back of my mind to avoid the pain like I had with my parents.

Life is pretty good now, having a few great friends and the best family ever.

This is just a little conclusion I came up with for this story. It's not much just a little bit more of a glimpse into Kelly's mind after getting her dad back and of course I just had to give her, her best friend back as well.
