Please don't look so sad,

So chin up little lad.

Smile little Mokie,

So I can see your eyes shine,

I need to see some life in you,

So I know everything is fine.

Stand straight little Mokie,

With your head held high,

You have every reason to be happy,

Now why would I lie?

Can you do me one favour little Mokie?

Run around and be wild,

Laugh and be carefree,

Just be a child.
