I do not own Axis Powers Hetalia or Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. I wish I did. Alas.
The thoughts are in italics, spoken words are in quotation marks. Happy reading! :]
Elizabeta plopped down the heavy basket filled to the brim with cravats, shirts, and trousers all of the finest quality and sighed. It was a glorious day; the sun was shining and the effervescent breeze carried the faint smell of blooming flowers. She wanted nothing more than to sit in the garden's gazebo and read the copy of Pride and Prejudice (England had sent it to her; she was the avid reader and critic of all his newest romance novels). She had particularly liked this novel; Mr. Darcy had an uncanny resemblance to her own beloved Roderich. That being said, why wouldn't she like such a darling book?
Later in the afternoon she retreated to the glass gazebo with her book. Consequently the afternoon was whiled away with daydreams the novel inspired: Roderich confessing his undying love, Roderich fighting for her dignity and that of her family, saving her from the horrors some other droll nation forced upon her.
Elizabeta slowly leaned her head back against the gazebo's warm glass, her eyes closed and a contented smile on her face. I'm lucky, she thought, I actually married my Mr. Darcy. Many girls cannot brag about such an accomplishment. With this thought she happily drifted off to sleep, dreaming of her own precious Mr. Darcy.
A few hours later Elizabeta awoke to a gentle hand on her cheek. She opened her eyes, searching for the suspected owner of the hand. Realizing it was Roderich she slowly sat up, smiling innocently at him. She was about to explain her reasons for being out of doors and not seeing to her duties when he muttered: "We should probably go back to the house; I can't have you catching a cold." He swept her up into his arms like a small child and began to effortlessly carry her back. She nuzzled her head into his neck, letting out a contented sigh. Yes, she thought, I am truly the luckiest girl in the world.
Did you like? Yes, no? Do you have any ideas for future fics? I love any kind of comments! :]
