Hyuuga's blade almost hits him in the shoulder - and Konatsu is really glad he is able to defend this one. Last blow caught Konatsu in the arm, and even though there were no significative damages to anything but his jacket, it made him pissed.

He is getting better, of course, and practice with Hyuuga is always a lot of fun, even if his body has the tendency to ache all over later. But this time it doesn't feel right. Hyuuga's barely scratching him! He's barely hurt!

Yes, Konatsu's muscles are throbbing from trying to escape and attack in sequence and his feet hurt like hell. The only slightly painful injury he got, though, was a slash in his chest. It tore his uniform open and made a purple bruise underneath. Hyuuga almost apologized for that, too, and the doubt about what he was really apologizing for doesn't seem to disappear from Konatsu's mind.

"Get serious!" he screams, boots sliding in the mud as he prepares himself for another attack. Hyuuga's mocking him, he won't stand that. He can accept critiques, he can accept serious cuts, he can accept - heck, he can even accept Hyuuga skipping work and dropping everything in his hands. But if Hyuuga can't take anything seriously, Konatsu doesn't want to be part of this anything.

His scream seems to work, though, and for a moment there's a smile of confidence, and not mockery, in Hyuuga's lips. Konatsu launches himself forward and misses, his sword hitting the ground just near his target. He braces himself for the counterattack he knows he's getting.

Hyuuga's sword hit his belt... and stops there. The poor thing is destroyed just by the powerful wind caused by the blade.

And of course Konatsu is wearing pants – he does that quite often, in fact - and, being pants and also being quite large for him, they are being held in their proper place by this particular device.

Were.

Hyuuga smiles approvingly.

Konatsu realizes he's wearing nothing but his underwear and a torn jacket in front of Lieutenant Commander Hyuuga and freaks out.
