"He moved, Dean." Scared, 12 year old eyes looking up at his older brother.

Dean glances back at the rawhead lying on the floor, not three feet away.

"5,000 volts, Sammy. It's just the aftershock." He turns away, searching his pockets for lighter fuel and matches.

"Dean…" That looked like more than a twitch to Sam. He's not happy, and moves closer to his brother. Just as the rawhead reaches out a hand and grabs hold of Dean's ankle.

And all Dean can think, as he goes down, hard, is that sometimes it pays to listen to your little brother.
