Stand Up

I couldn't take it anymore. His preaching about being yourself whilst looking right at me. Who did he think he was? He was the one going on about an image he had to keep up, which meant he was lying about who he was, like me. He didn't even let me explain. He didn't let me explain that I was only myself when I was around him.

I had to do something. I couldn't take this personal attack. That was why I stood up. Quickly, might I add. The whole class looked at me. They obviously expected me to sit down and take it. To be a wallflower, like usual. Well not anymore.

"Yes?" Shane asked in an indignant tone.

"I'm leaving; you got a problem with that?" Yeah, I bet you didn't see that attitude change to come from me.

"Actually, yes I do. You can't leave my class halfway through."

"I don't see why not. You're just standing there preaching. It's not like id be missing much. This also coming from the guy who skipped teaching his first day of classes. So, if you'll excuse me, I'm leaving."

"Fine, leave my class. See if I care. I'm fed up with you stupid posers." Now that struck a chord. And just as I was about to leave too. Well, Shane Gray, get ready to feel my wrath.

"I'm a poser? I'm a poser?!" I said in an incredulous tone. You're the guy who changed because the media got to him. Stop preaching about being yourself. If you want me to be myself, fine, I will. I really thought we had something. Obviously I was wrong if you didn't give me a chance after hearing the bimbo blonde out me. So yeah, I was lying about my mom but it's not like I'm the first person to lie. I can't believe I thought I was falling for you." And with that, I left. The whole class had been gaping. I guess they didn't expect me to be so outspoken. That really felt good. From now on, Mitchie Torres was going to stand up for herself. No one else did.

AN: Yeah, so I came up with this on Thursday whilst watching Camp Rock. And I pushed myself to write it because I had nothing else to post for today. 'Why is today so special?' I hear you ask. Well, two years ago on this day, I joined fanfiction. So, that's two years I have (hopefully) been entertaining you people. R&R
