"What do we got here?"
Havoc watched the State Alchemist with a cigarette in his mouth. He slightly wondered how many bodies they were going to find around Central. There was more and more showing up lately and it was odd. It was starting to give him the heebi jeebies. Havoc waited for an answer with fake interest as he reached for his lighter.
This was nothing new he thought, as he listened to the rush of words about how some lady had been walking home and found the body. Havoc started to space out, wondering where Hawkeye was. Probably with the colonol. The lady had said that the body...
"Can you say that again?" Havoc asked. He was frozen with the lighter halfway flipped , about to light his cigarette when something the State Alchemist had said caught him off guard. I must be dreaming.
The state Alchemist repeated what she had said. Havoc dropped his lighter.
Breda was watching Havoc from the car. He was intensely bored, and wanted Havoc to get back with news of what had happened. Breda had been forced to watch from the black van instead of investigating with Havoc….He blinked. Havoc had just dropped his lighter. Havoc rarely ever froze up unless he was talking to some extraordinarily beautiful woman or something. And the state alchemist wasn't someone Havoc would go after….. odd. Breda considered getting out of the car to listen in to what was going but deiced not to when he remembered that Furi was in the car with him, trying to fix the radio. Breda sighed and leaned back against the leather seat of the car.
Fury was tinkering with the radio and didn't see Havoc. The internal wiring that hooked to the antenna on the radio was broken and he was trying to figure out what they could do about when he heard Breda sigh. He blinked and looked up to see Breda with his arms behind his head and eyes closed.
Furi pushed his glasses back up onto his nose and silently went back to fixing the radio.
