A girl of 18 sat with her back against a boy of 19. They were both bleeding, a spot of blood matted her pink hair and a gash on his head drained down his brown hair and down his face, past his chocolate eyes. She looked over her shoulder at him, her eyes shining as they waited for their other, less injured partner, to get a medic. She continued to speak about her team, trying to keep them both awake.
"Naruto? Naruto is like the sun. He's bright and cheerful and some people get irritated by him but they have a respect for him because he gives them warmth and light."
The man shifted his head slightly. Look to the sunset before him. The field's grass was low seeing as winter had just ended.
"What about your leader? His name starts with a K right?"
She smiled as she thought about him.
"Yes. Kakashi Hatake. The Copy Nin. He's like the wind. He pushed clouds in front of the sun and moon to block and protect them and he vainly tries to move them in the correct path but they're so stubburn."
A breeze brushed past causing the grass to blow and her long pink locks to tickle him.
"Who's the moon?"
"The moon? That part would have to be Sasuke. He and the sun chase each other to prove who is best. He is beautiful and much more appreciated then the boisterous sun. But his heart and soul has been battered so hard that all that's left is a beautiful moon with craters."
Sakura looked to the semi-dark sky ahead of her. She looked up to the half crescent moon that was starting to get more visible as the sun set.
"…So…what are you?"
"Me? Hm…I guess…I would have to be the stars."
He looked up to the starless sky.
"The stars?"
"Yep. I'm not as bright as the sun or as beautiful as the moon or as useful as the wind but I'm always there even when you can't see me. Me and the wind are always together though the wind flows while I stay in one place waiting. Waiting for the sun to rise or the moon. I'm always there…waiting to welcome them back."
She also looked up at the starless sky as they watched the first star peak out as the wind brushed past and the moon began it's slow chase for the sun.
