Angel of the Night

She doesn't know how much I love her. She doesn't even know I care. Will she ever know that I think about her every single day?

She lights up my world with that brilliant smile of hers. Whenever we make contact, I feel my heart beat ten times faster. But that is not enough. I crave more of her.

You are my light in the dark
You are the beating in my heart
But that is not enough, will I ever be by your side

The way her hair sways in the wind, as it caresses her fair skin, makes a fire burn deep in my heart. A fire that burns deeper when she looks at me, and a fire that blazes as soon as she smiles.

Your hair is dancing in the wind
Your eyes are burning up my skin
And I'm so happy when I see, that you are smiling back at me

Her intoxicating scent encases me, leading me towards my goddess, as she bathes in the moonlight, soaking it up, making her form glow as radiant as the moon itself. She was heavenly.

You're leaving burn marks on the ground

But you're my angel in the night

Her eyes turn to me, those deep sapphire pools entrancing me, tempting me to drown in them. A sincere smile adorned her lips as she beckoned me to come closer to her. I complied easily, for I had already fallen under her spell. I couldn't resist the pull that led me to her, and strangely, I didn't even want to resist. I wanted to be near her.

As we sat on that field, I felt her slip closer to me, making me jump. She smiled that wonderful smile and her sapphire eyes bore into my soul, trapping me there as she spoke those three words, "I love you"

"Prepare For Launch in 3.. 2.. 1"

Three words. So simple. Three words she had said to me so many times, ever since our birth. Three words that I heard from her yet never bothered to return, in fear that I might accidentally say something that would give me away.

But I felt that this time was different. That those words meant so much more this night. As we stare in each other's eyes, she smiled and gave me a peck on the lips. Giggling a bit, she jumped up and disappeared through the dark forest, leaving me immobilized on the ground.

A peck, it was so short but had a big effect on me. Her feelings were poured into that one single action, letting me know what she felt for me. And I was finally satisfied. Because my angel had finally shared the same feelings as me. My little angel, my sister.
