A/N: Okay, so, last night I thought of this really cute post-Duped scene. Enjoy Warehouse 13 fluff!
Pete walked out onto the patio to find Myka sitting on one of the chairs, her feet pulled up under her. She was in a tank top and pajama pants, and her hair was tousled. Pete looked up and saw the stars shining high above.
"Hey, partner." He said softly, and she turned.
"Hey." She replied quietly, and Pete sat down next to her.
"Something wrong?" He asked, and she tilted her head and looked at him inquisitively.
"Why would there be?" She questioned him back, and he smiled.
"Well, most people don't sit outside at half one in the morning for no reason." He pointed out, and she chuckled lightly.
"I see your point." She conceded.
"So…?" He hinted, and she sighed.
"You know when Alice was in my body?" She asked, and Pete nodded.
"Not something you forget in a hurry." He grinned and she smiled back at him.
"Well, when I got my body back? I got her memories from the night too." Myka informed him, and Pete raised his eyebrows.
"So, you remember…"
"Everything." Myka smiled, and Pete groaned.
"She initiated it." He pointed out, and Myka laughed.
"Oh, I know." She glanced at the ground. "You know what you said about that I wouldn't kiss you even if it was a life and death situation?"
"Well, similar words, yes." Pete agreed. "Why?"
"Well, it's not true." She told him, turned away and standing up. Pete quickly caught her wrist.
"What do you mean?" He asked, and she looked at him.
"Exactly what I said, Pete." She reverted her glance away from him, but he used his spare hand to lift her chin so she was looking at him again.
"Really?" He questioned her, surprised.
"Really. Now can I go?" She asked, like an impatient child.
"No." He replied simply, before leaning down slightly and kissing her.
