~L'Angel~
"Angemon, you're an angel, aren't you?"
"…"
"That's true, isn't it?"
"…"
"If you're an angel, you may meet God in the sky, right?"
"…"
"Would you like bringing me to God? I want to ask Him to turn back the time. So Mom and Dad don't need to divorce, then I and my brother can be always together."
"…"
"Angemon?"
Angemon gazed on Takeru sadly. This little boy…
"C'mon, please bring me to God!" Takeru pulled Angemon's hand. "Please…"
Angemon knelt down, holding little Takeru's shoulders.
"I'm… not an angel, Takeru. I'm just a digimon in an angel-shaped. I can't grant your wish. I'm sorry."
Takeru looked at Angemon for a long time, not saying anything.
"Takeru?"
"If you become Holyangemon, does it mean you've been an angel?"
"No, Takeru."
"What about Angewomon? She's an angel, isn't she?"
"She is the same as me, Takeru."
"So where I can find an angel?" his voice started breaking. "Where I can find an angel who could bring me to God?"
"Takeru…"
Takeru's tears began to fall, and then changed into a loud cry. Angemon hugged that boy.
"You don't need an angel, Takeru. All you have to do is accepting this condition with sincerity. Then you can continue hoping in order that your parents will be reunited, someday…"
Takeru didn't listen. He spent the rest of the day by crying in Angemon's embrace.

Several years later…
"Angemon, do you remember I ever asked you whether you're an angel or not?"
Angemon nodded. Takeru looked up the sky, and then he smiled.
"How naïve I was, at that time," he said. "But Angemon, after that I always consider you as a real angel. My angel, who taught me about sincerity. About hope."
"…"
"I never stop wishing for reuniting Mom and Dad, although I know it will never happen. But, by wishing, I feel alive. Feel strong."
"…"
"Thank you Angemon. When I die, I do want to be an angel like you."
Angemon smiled. He always considered Takeru as his little angel, in the past. But now, that little angel had been growing up.
The End
