"Haha, yeah, I know what you mean; I wouldn't mind tapping that either!"

Obito and Kakashi walked by a pair of boys conversing loudly about someā€¦not so kid-friendly subjects. Obito looked disgustedly at them while Kakashi appeared nonchalant about the whole thing, while his Icha Icha tainted mind wondered about how successful a scene their vulgar ramblings would make in Jiraiya's next edition.

They walked by the boisterous pair inattentively, making their way over to the hospital to pick Rin up from her shift to go to training. However, their interest in the boys' conversation was piqued when they heard one of them exclaim, "Damn, I hope someday I'll get a chance just to see what's under that medic uniform of hers!" Kakashi threw a look back at them, now interested as to whom they were referring, and Obito looked positively furious, despite not knowing which female medic the boys were referring to.

"Vulgar bastards," he cursed under his breath, walking in their direction. He really hated it when guys talked so freely and rudely about women like that.

"Hey," Obito grinned superficially as he caught up to the pair of teenagers. "Who you guys talking about? She sounds awesome."

The red-head of the pair grinned back. "Ha, we were just talking about that new medic at the hospital, you know the one."

"Nah, not really; I've been out of town for a while. Who is she?"

"Aw come on dude, you know who I'm talking about! The medic! You know, Rin-chan!"

It took no longer than three seconds for Obito's expression to become furious, and slam the boys against a fence, holding them up by the collars of their vests. "What did you just say about her?" he growled in a low voice.

The pair of boys looked scared now, and they winced as Obito tightened his grip. Too bad they hadn't known that Rin was his teammate. Then maybe they would have had half a mind to get out of there before the situation got ugly. Behind Obito, Kakashi sighed. "What are you doing, idiot? We're going to be late. Let them go."

Obito glared menacingly at Kakashi, then turned his gaze back upon the boys. "What are you saying, Kakashi? This is our teammate they're talking about!"

Kakashi let out another sigh as Obito dropped the boys back to the ground and cracked his knuckles, his Sharingan tomoe spiralling viciously. At this rate, they'd be late. Oh well, Kakashi thought, maybe I can help speed this up. Less than two minutes later, witnesses at the Konoha marketplace saw two boys running helplessly, each sporting a black eye and various bruises. A block away, one netural Hatake Kakashi and one emotionally instable Uchiha Obito could be seen; the latter still had his Sharingan flickering on and off periodically.

Kakashi shot Obito a sideways glance as they continued their walk to the hospital; it seemed it would take a while for Obito to calm down. "They weren't worth it, you know."

His statement seemed to surprisingly calm Obito as the boy's eyes stopped flickering and remained their naturally dark coal shade.

"I know," he replied thoughtfully, feeling completely justified, "but Rin is."
