Just a quick oneshot X3 Light ItsukixYuki.

I just watched this ItsukixYuki video with a comic strip inside, that is similar to this. So then I decided to do this XD It's a bit short, but yeah. Poor Itsuki, eh? This might be a bit OOC for Itsuki XP

Lol, when I showed this to my friend before I uploaded, she said, "Oooooooooh, Yuki's playing hard to get." I roflmao-ed XD

Anyways, enjoy this short oneshot that is 381 words long (including title and excluding Author's Notes.) R&R! And pls excuse any grammatical or spelling mistakes DX

Poor Itsuki

"Nagato-san!" Mikuru came over to the short-haired bookworm sitting on the side of the room with a cup of tea.

"Hey, Yuki!" Haruhi slammed open the Club room door, and jumped over, flinging an arm over Yuki's shoulders, shaking her playfully.

The only response that came from Yuki was a silent glance from her book. But it was a response.

As Itsuki watched, he couldn't help but envy the two girls a bit. He realized that every time he spoke to Yuki, she would ignore him. Well, not all the time, but most of the time, if it didn't involve anything about Closed Space or any of that sort.

If he ever brought up a casual conversation, all he got was cold silence, not even a glance at him. And all Itsuki could do was smile.

When Mikuru had served her tea to Yuki, and Haruhi had finished her playful nudging on Yuki, Itsuki wondered if he could ask Yuki why she ignores him. At least find a reason, right?

As soon as Yuki was left alone, reading her book, Itsuki got up from his seat and walked over to Yuki.

"Uh, Nagato-san? Do you have a moment?" He began.

"..." Yuki kept her eyes glued to her book, not even muttering a single word.

"Hey Nagato-san?" Itsuki tried raising his voice just a little bit.

"..."

"Nagato-san? Can you hear me?"

"..."

"I just want to ask you a question...!"

"..."

"N-Nagato-san...?"

"..."

Before Itsuki could say anything else, Kyon suddenly came over. "Hey Nagato, do you have a minute?"

"...What is it?" Yuki, after a brief pause, raised her eyes to look at Kyon, without even a quick glance towards Itsuki. It seemed to strike Itsuki like a blow.

Exasperated and put-down, Itsuki returned to his seat, giving up. He tore his gaze from Yuki and Kyon and focused his gaze on somewhere else in the room. The window, maybe.

As he leaned back on his chair, crossed his arms and placed on leg above the other, he just wished that for once, just once, that Yuki would speak to him when he tried to bring up a casual conversation. Just once would do fine.

Why must you ignore me, Nagato-san?
