Judai was sitting on the rooftop on the fourth of July looking up at the fireworks as thoughts crossed his mind. Well actually it was just one. What is the meaning of love?
"Ju-chan, where are you?" Johan asked. He looked everywhere for him.
"I'm up here Jo-kun!"
Johan climbed up on the roof. "Wow, this is a great view," he said.
"Isn't it?"
"What's the matter?"
"I'm just trying to clear my head."
"Do you need me to leave?"
"No, you can stay," Judai laughed.
Johan moved closer to the brunette and said, "I love you."
Judai looked down as his cheeks turned to a dark red.
"Ju-chan, seriously what's wrong?"
"You're gonna think I'm so stupid."
"No I'm not."
He sighed. "I don't know the meaning of the word love."
"Sure you do," the bluenette said. "You tell me you love me all the time."
"I know, I say it because I really care about you. But I don't know the meaning of true love. Are you following me?"
"I used to ask myself that question all the time," Johan said. "True love, is like--like you and dueling. It makes you feel special. Love as a person is the same thing. It makes you feel like the most important thing is you and that other person. Like no one else even exists…" his voice trailed off as the burst of colors lighted the sky.
"Jo-kun?" Judai asked.
Johan looked at him.
"I love you."
He smiled as he blushed. He put his head on his lover's shoulder and said, "I love you too."
