I decided doing something cute would be fun! Besides, the fanbase needs more non-romance stories!

I don't own Hetalia! end /AN/

England folded his newspaper as he got up from his seat. A lot had to be done, but fortunately not today. Today, he would have time to spend with the little colony he'd recently adopted. He smiled as he thought of the rambunctous little tyke.

He wished he could stay like that forever, but he knew it could never be that way.

He sighed. Well, better go find the darling, he'd be hungry soon. England set off to get America ready for dinner.

As he headed into the living room, a smudge at about knee-level on the window caught his eye. His brow crinkled in slight confusion as he reached over and rubbed it out with his sleeve.

Now, where was the little blonde?

He was about to continue on when he noticed a similiar smudge on the next window. England rubbed that one out too, wondering how it had gotten there.

He looked up only to find- yes, another smudge, almost identical to the first two on the next window. And the next. And the one after that. And in the next room, he could see more smudges on the windows, all at knee-level.

He frowned in confusion. Didn't the maid clean this room? He followed the trail, wiping as he went. It led into the next room, and then the next, and then he went upstairs and found more.

What kind of job was that maid doing? More importantly, how did these get here?

He turned the corner, and he found his answer.

America, his adorable little tot, was spitting onto the window and then smearing it into an oval shape. He was already half-way done with England's room, apparently.

England just watched, a little dumbfounded. How had America even gotten an idea like that? He shook his head. That child was unusual, to say the least. He cleared his throat, making his presence known.

America looked up, adorable baby alarm spreading across his face. He immediately and turned and ran, as if he could outrun England. Said larger nation just chuckled and scooped him up from behind.

"Come on, it's time for dinner, you silly little thing!" He couldn't help but continue chuckling, which prompted America to start giggling, until both were laughing as they headed down the stairs for dinner.

If only such moments could last forever, England found himself thinking.

/AN/ Just thought it would be cute.... It's based off a real-life event. My three-year-old brother was doing that for who knows what reason... Except he was also doing that one some of us... yeah... not quite as cute there...
