~With Sesshomaru starting earlier that morning~

"Good morning lord Sesshomaru!" Jaken greeted Sesshomaru at the door of to his study.

"Jaken, what news do you have for me today?" Sesshomaru asked as me swept across the room of his study to his desk. New Documents had been placed on the desk, some reports from the guards, and nobles under his rule.

"There is not much new today my lord. Lou, of the mind owl clan, stated that she would arrive this morning. She should be here any moment. No reports of any other travelers expected today. Rin, has been gotten off to her lectures, and Tacko has also been informed that the guest in Hiei in the medical wing is to be cleaned and presented to your office mid morning." Jaken reported to Sesshomaru.

Sesshomaru glanced at the documents in front of him. "Things appear to be in order then. Please tell the guards to escort Lou to my study once she arrives. Have some tea brought, enough for three. And you Jaken, if you would please bring out guest to my study." Sesshomaru instructed. Jaken gave him a low bow before securing out of his study. Sesshomaru focused on the small pile of documents in front of him. He was about finished with them when a knock came on the door of his study.

"Enter" Sesshomaru beckoned. The door open, and inside walked the demon he sent for earlier this week. "You must be Lou, of the mind owl clan. Your clan spoke highly of your abilities for one so young." Sesshomaru comment. The demoness who stood in front of him was average height; she had pale white skin, when long hair of different varieties shades of brown. She wore a long fourm fitting gray and black dress.

"Yes, I am lou, it is a honor to meet you Lord Sesshomaru." She said bowing to him in greeting.

"Please, have a seat, and let me explain to you why you are here." Sesshomaru motioned to a seat in front of him. Lou moved quietly to the seat, she sat and crossed her hands across her lap. "I have requested aid from your clan, in regards to a guest I have recently found myself with. He appears to be a foreigner, without the ability to speak out language. This makes communication a bit difficult you see. However, I know of your clans talents. Your ability to teach though your mental abilities. Your clan informs me that you are one of its best, and have stronger abilities than many others in your clan. I would like you to use your abilities, to teach my guest out language." Sesshomaru explained. Lou, blushed at the complements, and a smile graced her lips.

"I am honored to be able to use my abilities to assist you my lord. You are aware that this is not a quick process tho right? It will take months to fully teach your guest our full language. Only so much information can be passed in one sitting, and then that information must be sorted though and brought out subconsciously." Lou explained. Sesshomaru looked expectedly at her.

"Yes, I am aware of the time that it would take, however I have the up most faith in your abilities, as does your clan. You of course will be given a room in the same guest wing as Hiei, so that you two may work together. You will of course take meals with me as my honored guest, as well as present me with reports on your progress." Sesshomaru explained.

Well they were talking a servant slipped into the room and served both of them tea. Lou and Sesshomaru both helped themselves to the tea, and sat in silence for a short time drinking. Finally Lou came to her decision; she smiled once more at Sesshomaru. "I will accept this job from you my Lord." Sesshomaru nodded his head and sat his cup down.

"That is good, Tacko our castle healer has informed me that Hiei is well enough to leave his bed. Jaken should be escorting him to us very soon. I am hoping that you can get started right away." Lou nodded, and sat quietly sipping her tea. A few minutes later a knock was made on the door. "Enter" Sesshomaru announced.

"Lord Sesshomaru, I have brought your guest as requested." Jaken said, bowing low to Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru meet Hiei's eyes, and was greeted with a nod and acknowledgment. Hiei called out his name, which Sesshomaru was glad, he remembered. Hiei had been in quite a state when he had made the brief introduction.

"Good, please go and have the east guest wing prepared for our two guests. Have staffing assigned to it." Sesshomaru ordered, Jaken bowed once more and then scrambled out of the study. "Hiei," Sesshomaru called out gesturing to the unoccupied chair in front of his desk. Hiei moved and sat himself in the seat. "Lou, this is Hiei, he is my guest whom I will be intrusting to you." Sesshomaru said.

Lou, moved over from her seat, and stood next to Hiei. She placed a hand on her chest, and gave him her name. She smiled when Hiei nodded at her. "I understand we have a language barrier, but at least he seems to be able to communicate in other ways. I will get started right away." Lou said. Lou smiled at Hiei and held out both of her hands. Hiei stared at them, and studied them for a minute. He moved his hands up toward hers, and she grasped them. Hiei looked up at her, a quizzical look on his face. "Alright, this might hurt a little when I enter his mind for the first time. It will however get use to it." Her eyes started glowing and power radiated off her. Hiei had looked up well she spoke. His eyes meet and entranced by hers. He was frozen by her stare.

Lou seeped her consciousness into his mind, she was surprised when she meet with a barrier, and a tough one to. But her mental abilities were able to overcome it. This had a negative reaction tho, causing her charge to stiffen, and gasp in pain. The barrier was brought down, and Lou entered his subconscious. She tied her power to it, and used her power to introduce some of the language in it. Then she let her power fade, and she slipped out from Hiei's mind. She was suppressed, when his body went lax, and his eyes fell close. He fell forward, and she quickly grasped him in her arms.

"Everything ok Lou?" Sesshomaru asked concerned. Lou maneuvered Hiei so that he was sitting sideways in the cushioned chair, leaning against the back of it, and legs hanging over one of the arms.

"There was an unexpected mental barrier. It was a strong one, and in order to enter his subconscious I had to force my way through it. It must have been too much for him, he appears to have slipped in to hibernation. I was however successful in placing the first seed for this teaching. He will probably hibernate for a few hours, and he might wake up with a nasty head ache. We might want to have your healer give him something for that." Lou explained. She stood next to Hiei's chair as he rested. Sesshomaru stood up from his chair and moved over to Hiei, whom he scooped up into his arms.

"Then I will show you to your quarters, and we will lay Hiei down in his. Yours is near his so that you have easy access to him." Lou nodded and moved over to hold the door open for Sesshomaru. She followed after him as he walked down the hall ways. The guest wing was just as grand as the rest of Sesshomaru estate. Sesshomaru stopped at one of the room doors "This will be your room, and the one across from it is Hiei's. If you would please get the door." Lou opened Hiei's door and moved out of Sesshomaru way. Sesshomaru carried Hiei into the room, and laid him down on the bed. He adjusted Hiei so that he was laying under the blankets.

"Servants have will be assigned to each of you. Should you need anything there is a bell in your room that you can ring. Please let Hiei know of this. Also, I don't know if Jaken has informed them of the language barrier. So please if you would, let Hiei's attendant know of the situation. I must be going now; I have another meeting to attend to." Sesshomaru explained to Lou before making his exit.

Lou went to her room and did some light unpacking of her things. Once she was done she grabbed one of her books and made her way to Hiei's room. She sat down on the window seat, to read. During the time well she was reading the halers apprentice brought her a draft for Hiei, to help him with the head ache that me might have once he came out of hibernation.

~Hiei's POV now :D ~

Hiei woke up after being out for about 2 hours. He scrunched his eyes, at the pounding in his head. Hiei groaned, and pulled the blankets over his head to hide from the light in the room. He heard some laughing and groggily it hit him he was alone. He was alone, and vulnerable. Hiei sat up quickly moving for his Katana, only it wasn't there. Then he remembered everything that's happened in the last week. Getting blasted though the portal, save by some demon lord, nursed back to health by a cat, and then getting his head invaded by a owl. Said owl was sitting across the room from him.

Lou stood up and moved over to Hiei's bed. She placed her hand on his arm, and smiled at him. "Sorry about the head ach." She said. Hiei blinked, he could understand her. "I was not expecting you to have such a strong mental barrier." Lou said. While keeping her hand on his arm she reached over and grasped the draft that the healer has brought earlier. "Drink this; it will help your head." She held out the draft to Hiei, whose brow furrowed.

"How can I understand you?" Hiei asked. Lou smiled at him.

"Sorry about this, it only works one way. So long as my hand is on you, because of my mental power you can understand me. However, the words you are speaking are in your native language. Sadly I cannot understand you. But here, drink the draft first." She placed the draft in Hiei's hand. Hiei sniffed it, and rolled his eyes; he took the drink and downed it. The taste in his mouth was awful. Lou, grabbed the other cup that was sitting on the bedside table, she took the one from Hiei and handed him the next one. Hiei sniffed it, happy to find that it was the fruit juice that he had taken a likening to. Hiei sipped at this. "The healer had the servants bring this up for you, he said that its one of your favorites." Hiei finished off his glass and allowed her to take it from him and place it back on the table.

"Lord Sesshomaru wants me to help you learn our language. I am able to imprint on your mind and give you the words. You should very soon be able to understand most of the spoken words of our language. However, teaching you to speak it will be another matter. It's going to take time. As it is, you only understand what I am saying right now because I am feeding the cognitive information in to your psyche. This is a special ability that my clan posses. The more that you hear me speak, and the more words I am able to teach you, the quicker that you will be able to process all the information that I am mentally feeding you. Do you understand?" Lou asked. Hiei nodded his head, grateful that his question was answered. Even if he had been unable to properly ask it. "Good, then we can start right away, I am going to take my hand off your arm and start pointing out objects. Teaching you how to pronounce them." Lou said. She removed her hand from Hiei and started walking around the room. From there their lesson started. They spent the rest of the day, only taking brief brakes for lunch and dinner (which they took in Hiei's room) working together on the new words.

Hope that you all enjoyed the chapter. Please Review :D I love getting them! More to come here soon!
