"Tony? You awake?"

"Boss? What are you doing in my room?"

"We're not in your room Tony."

"Then what am I doing in your room?"

"We're not in my room either."

"Oh, sorry Boss but it's not my fault. I can't see anything. I can't see…"

"DiNozzo?"

"Boss! Ohmygod I'm BLIND! Blind, I can't see! How am I ever going to get to work! What about my car?! She can't drive herself! And my movies, my movies! Waste, they'll all go to waste and then what will I do-"

"DiNozzo."

"-when I'm not at work! Work! I can't see, I'll be on desk duty forever! I can't even type when I look at the keyboard-"

"Tony."

"And now McGee will laugh cause I can't even do my hair and how am I suppose to see your glares when I-"

"DINOZZO!

"Yes Boss?"

"I can't see anything either."

"You mean…"

"Yeah DiNozzo we're-"

"We're both BLIND!"

"Did you hit your head DiNozzo?"

"Why Boss?"

"No reason."

"I think I did. At least, it hurts."

"Concussion probably."

"Is that why I'm blind? Did you get hit on the head too Boss?"

"Tony, we're not blind. We're blindfolded."

"Oh."

"Yeah, oh."

"Boss?"

"Yes Tony?"

"Just making sure you're still there Boss."

"Still here Tony."

"Okay Boss."

"Boss?"

"Boss?"

"BOSS!"

"What Tony?!"

"Nothing Boss."

"Tony you feeling okay?"

"I still can't see Boss."

"Okay Tony."

"Just checking Boss."

"I know Tony."

"Boss?"

"Yeah DiNozzo?"

"I have to pee."

"Me too DiNozzo."

"Oh. Sorry Boss."

"Just hold on DiNozzo. They're coming."

"I'm trying."

"Boss?"

"Yeah Tony?"

"I don't have to pee anymore."

"Okay Tony."

"Tony?"

"Huh?"

"You feeling okay?"

"I don't think so Boss."

"Don't think what Tony?"

"Don't think I'm ever gonna see again."

"Tony?"

"Tony!"

"Boss?"

"Welcome back DiNozzo."

"I left?"

"Nope, but you've been sleeping every since they found us a couple days ago."

"Oh."

"You feeling okay?"

"I still can't see Boss."

"No, Tony, cut it out. Leave the bandages on. Doctor's orders."

"But I can't see Boss."

"Yeah, I would hope so with all that gauze wrapped around your head."

"What happened?"

"Guy we were after had a lot more friend than we thought. They tied us up and blindfolded us in that house. McGee and Ziva found us two days later. Your head wound got infected which gave you a fever. You had a mild concussion to top it off. Doctors want to keep your eyes covered so your eyes can slowly get use to light again. Don't worry. It takes a day or two then you have to wear sunglasses for awhile."

"You still wearing sunglasses Boss?"

"Na, not anymore."

"I was gone for a long time then huh?"

"Yeah, you were DiNozzo."

"You awake Tony?"

"Yeah."

"They're letting more light in."

"Yeah. My eyes still get all watery though. Abby thought I was crying."

"Yeah well, she's had a rough time of it."

"Yeah, I'm sorry Boss."

"For what DiNozzo?"

"I don't remember a lot of what happened those two days in the room but I remember freaking out because I couldn't see."

"Yeah and?"

"Well, I should have kept my cool. I'm sorry I freaked out."

"Tony, you had a concussion and a high fever. I'm surprised you didn't freak out more."

"Well I-"

"Go to sleep Tony."

"Alright Boss."

"Tony?"

"Yeah Boss?"

"You did good."

"But I-"

"Shut up and enjoy the view DiNozzo."

"Alright Boss."
