Inuyasha reacted before his brain had time to work he ran and caught kagome and as he went back to get kikyo a bunch of demons blocked his path. "NO" shouted inuyasha as kikyo fell in the boling lava "kikyo!" naraku simply laughed as he disappeared.

later that night as the gang sat around the camp fire kagome suddenly said "i'm sorry inuyasha." Inuyasha looked at her "for what" he said. "for always getting in the way"said kagome sadly "if i hadn't got caught kikyo wouldn't have died." "kagome come with me." said inuyasha as he got up and walked away with kagome following.

soon they got to a clearing"is that really what you think." said inuyasha "because i've been thinking about it and i have no regrets." "but inuyasha" said kagome" you loved her. "that's right i loved her but now i love someone else.

kagome thinking the worst held back tears as she asked "who?" inuyasha chuckled "well she's a priestess me and her always fight and she once said she liked me as a half demon" "me" whispered kagome in shock. inuyasha just chuckled as he leaned in and kissed kagome lovingly under the stars.

meanwhile behind a bush a monk and demon slayer watched the two lover kiss as the monk sheilded a fox demons eyes. "let me go i want to see to" said shippo. "this isn't something for children to see" said miroku calmly.

'They are so cute together' thought sango happy for her sister-like best friend 'now if only miroku would stop womanizing then mabe we could be as happy as inuyasha and kagome.'
