A/N- I wrote this for my good friend Jamie (aka Jizzle Pop) for her birthday, which is today, July 23. She is an amazing writer and friend. Be sure to wish her a wonderful birthday!

*~Birthday WISH-kisses~*

Sonny Munroe gazed around the So Random set as people enjoyed the party. Her party. Her birthday party.

Tawni, Nico, Grady, and Zora had surprised her with it. Everyone seemed to be having a great time- laughing and dancing. Sonny was too.

She glanced around for a three-named heartthrob, but couldn't pick him out of the crowd.

And trust me, he would stand out in a crowd.

Sonny could spot those d r e a m y eyes and windswept blonde hair a mile away.

She inwardly sighed, secretly hoping he would have shown up, but wasn't really surprised that he didn't.

He probably didn't even know it was her birthday.

*~*

"Sonny, come over here!" Zora piped up, dragging her over to a brightly lit birthday cake.

Sonny watched the faces of her friends and other teen stars as they sang her 'Happy Birthday'.

"Make a wish!" Tawni urged.

Sonny contemplated for a brief second what her wish was, then slowly blew out the candles.

Everyone clapped, and as if on cue, in waltzed Chad Dylan Cooper, beaming his boastful smile.

"Thank you everyone for the applause, I have arrived," he announced.

"Actually, we were clapping for Sonny," Nico retorted.

"Oh, well I guess that's alright," he smiled, catching Sonny's brown gaze for a quick second.

Grady began cutting the cake in slices for the guests, sneaking bites of frosting here and there.

"Hey Birthday Girl," Chad greeted, pulling her away from the crowd. "Happy Birthday."

"I'm surprised you came," she stated.

"Well I would have been here sooner, but apparently, someone forgot to invite me!" he directed toward Zora.

"Sorry!" she exclaimed back.

"Well when I found out I wasn't invited, I had to come," he smirked.

"Oh, so you didn't come for me at all?" she sighed, fixating her eyes on the floor.

Chad stood there for a moment, speechless. He began rubbing the back of his neck like he does when he's nervous- which only happens around Sonny.

"Actually, I only came for you," he admitted. Sonny looked up at him and saw a genuine smile beaming back at her.

"Really?" she asked, her eyes shining.

"Yeah," he said, "Just don't tell anyone that."

Sonny swooned at Chad's blushing face and couldn't resist smiling back.

"Oh- I almost forgot, I um, didn't get you a gift," he mumbled.

"Well that's okay Chad, I didn't get you a gift for your birthday either, I'm just happy that you came."

"Well I guess Chad Dylan Cooper is a gift in itself, right?" he teased, popping the collar of his shirt.

"Oh, well then I definitely won't be unwrapping it," she giggled at her lame joke. Chad just frowned.

"What I meant was that I didn't buy you a gift, but I still have one for you. Now, close your eyes."

"No Chad, I don't trust you," she said, eyes wide.

"Sonny, trust me just this once. I'm pretty sure you'll like it."

Feeling daring, Sonny closed her eyes. Suddenly she felt his warm hand on her cheek, and the other on the small of her back. He pulled her closer to him, and softly pressed his lips to hers. They stayed there for a moment, until Chad pulled her even tighter, gently deepening the kiss.

"Wow," they said in unison, after breaking away from the embrace.

"So, how was that for a gift?" he asked, wiggling his eyebrows.

"That was pretty breathtaking, but I really wished for a new car."
