Arthur sat at the table with his head in his hands, while Sirius and Severus sat across from each other, with Remus hovered in the back.

All things considered their conversation with Arthur had went relatively well, and as he sat there digesting everything the old school rivals glared daggers at each other.

"Well if that's all then," Severus cleared his throat as he stood up from the table.

"So helpful, like always," Sirius mumbled.

"Helpful, when was the last time you were ever helpful when it came to Ginevra," Severus snapped.

"Don't-"

"You haven't seen her since school-"

"That's not true," Sirius defended cutting him off. "I saw her once in Diagon Alley,"

"When?" Arthur perked up giving the group his attention.

"We had a flat in London, it was the summer after our 7th year,"

"Why are you just mentioning this now?" Severus asked skeptical.

"Because no one believed me then, but I saw her- I know I did. She was going into Borgin and Burkes."

"Why would she be in there?" Arthur asked, on the edge of his seat.

"I don't know, she looked just like Ginny so I followed her-"

"Wait, she looked just like her? You mean you didn't actually talk to her?" Severus asked.

"No I-"

"So you don't actually know it was her," Severus finalized, turning to leave once more.

"I watched her conjure a Patronus, and then she apparated away, I didn't see her again after that," Sirius insisted.

"Lots of witches can conjure a Patronus," Severus responded without turning around.

"It was a Dog, her patronus was a dog," Sirius added frantically.

"Ginny Weasley's Patronus was a horse," Severus said, finally turning to face them, giving Arthur a sympathetic look.

"Yes, but Ginevra Dunham's patronus was a dog," Remus spoke for the first time where he had been listening against the wall.

"What?" Sirius and Severus asked in unison.

"I saw her, conjure one for bonus marks at the end of our 6th year- it was a dog," Remus said, as if realizing something for the first time as he looked at Sirius full of guilt.

"You knew?" Sirius asked rising from the table.

"Sirius- you have to understand-"

"I came to you nearly twenty years ago, and I told you how I spotted Ginevra in Hogsmeade and you convinced me I was only seeing what I wanted to see," Sirius cut Remus off, his voice rising.

"Sirius,"

"When you knew all along it was her, you let me-you convinced me to-"

"Sirius, you have to understand, Ginevra disappeared, she disappeared without a word to anyone, she obviously didn't want us to come looking for her,"

"She didn't," Severus spoke softly, coming back to sit in the chair he had abandoned earlier.

"What?" Sirius snapped, turning his anger towards Severus.

"She didn't disappear, Regulus knew where she was."

"Of course he did," Sirius responded dryly..

"Who is Regulus?" Arthur asked, leaning towards Severus.

"He's dead," Remus said in lieu of a response.

"How convenient that even in death he is the one person who knows-" Sirius started, ready for a rant.

"I didn't say he was the only person," Severus spoke, he looked excitedly between the 3 men, as if he had just made a discovery.

"Then who?" All three men asked.

"Lucius Malfoy."

For whatever reason, I was unable to upload anymore chapters, so instead had to create a new story.
