Kuchiki Byakuya was confused, and when Kuchiki Byakuya is confused people get scared, because when Kuchiki Byakuya is confused Kuchiki Byakuya looks angry. The reason for the captains bafflement was most curious, he had lost his sister. Admittedly the Kuchiki estate was easy to get lost in, but surely not at 1am surely at 1am people should be in their beds. Rukia was not in her bed.

"Um… Captain" squeaked a terrified servant "We found her"

And there she was, curled up in a ball like a little bunny rabbit. Slowly he pulled closed the closet door. Kuchiki Byakuya was still confused.
