She drifted over to the living room while Jacob sat eating his food, watching the game with Edward. Renesmee, tired and full after hunting, fell straight to sleep, taking up the entire couch. Bella was also in the room, watching her husband and best friend. She figured she just wouldn't understand sports; she couldn't even play thunderstorm baseball properly. Being a vampire just didn't quite cover her ineptitude over that area, but Edward insisted she was getting better.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Renesmee started to dream. This dream was more vivid than normal, probably due to the meal that put her to sleep. She had been placed gently in a grassy field, previously riding on none other than her boyfriend in his russet wolf form. The wolf stared at her, longing in his eyes to make her happy no matter what. Ness knew he would do anything for her. Lying on the grass, she just stared at him. She loved his brownness, such a warm color, reassuring. When she began to roll over, a cold wind blew and she gasped. The wolf came to her side instantly. Ness smiled and turned into his shaggy fur. She stared at the never ending forest of trees, all leafy and damp from the rain.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Bella watched her daughter turn to her side. Renesmee mumbled unintelligibly. Edward glanced at her, then looked back at the game. Bella stared out the window walls of the house, thinking. No wonder Edward spent his time watching me sleep. Suddenly, Ness turned over again, away from the back of the couch. Edward smirked an instant before she talked.

"Jacob, my Jacob," she said, completely unaware anything came out of her mouth. Jake looked over at her, one eyebrow lifted. Edward merely chuckled while Bella had on a bewildered look. Honestly, what were the chances that Ness would use those exact words? Then Jake grinned at Bella teasingly, as if to say, "Like mother, like daughter." She just decided not to say anything when her daughter surprised them again.

A slight frown interrupted her peaceful face. "It's too green," Ness mumbled.

Jacob looked confused as Edward laughed hard and looked at Bella. The phrase triggered a memory, sometime when she was human. Finally, she recalled when Edward told her of that particular sleep talk.

"That's not funny, Edward," Bella sulked.

He kissed her on the cheek while putting his arm around her. "She's just like you, love."
