Dear Readers

Even though this story has been "abandoned" for almost five years, yet I still receive periodic reviews and private messages from readers who want to know why and what happens next. It's for them that I write this now. After all this time, I finally decided to finish what I started.

Timeline will remain as it stands now: an unedited testament to the fourteen year old me who had more ambition than was probably healthy and a deep love for the Avatar fandom. But I'm not who I was then as a writer and a fan. However proud I am of what Timeline is and could have been, I'd prefer to let it be. In the words of Tolkein, it's hard to pick up the threads of an old life.

What happens next? I've already begun to post a remix of Timeline entitled Remembrance. You can find it here on , or on Ao3. This remix is a darker and more realistic take on the same themes and general plot of Timeline. It also incorporates more canon from Legend of Korra. It's an attempt, however small, to give back to the fandom that I've always loved the best.
