Chapter 9
Snow Elf

Andromeda's metal boots crunched into the snow flatting it as she walked through a snowy path. A sigh came from her, it puffed out warming the air before her face before evaporating into nothing. She settled her large blade from her shoulder to stick it into the ground.

She had been on this path for hours, nothing had changed in those hours, but in the last hour she felt that sensation of being fallowed. She didn't do anything about it, whoever it was doing nothing but fallowing her. She waited hearing them faultier and stop, clearly not expecting her to stop walking so suddenly after working so long.

"I know you are there, have been for hours." Her voice echoed out of her helmet clipped but calm. She heard a chuckle before crunching of multiple boots behind her. She turned but made herself around the sword as protection. Several cloaked people greeted her, all of them in green colored cloth and their eyes rather large but bright.

'Elves.' Gnarls voice snarled in her head with hate and disgust.

The elves simply watched her as she watched them, no one moved. Andromeda clenched her swords handle with a tight grip watching them. One moved forward, it was a slow step, one to let their armored guest know they will not attack, simply talk. Andromeda relaxed but didn't let go of sword. The other elves back up a bit, wondering if their presence was making her on edge. Her talk with Gnarl was not at least bit helpful, it had left her agitated and a need to kill something.

So she took a walk and then found a path and fallowed it, and then just kept walking when she hit cold air and snow started to appear. It was quiet and she had time to think on her life and the choices she had and the once she had made. Most of the way she was alone until the last hour or so. They were quiet at first, so she ignored them but they kept fallowing and then eventually she got annoyed by them.

"Warrior, you wonder to close to our home." The elf, clearly male in voice, stated shifting to try to get around her, so she would be sandwiched between him and his friends. Who ever this warrior was to them, they needed not him near their homes.

Andromeda stepped to the side preventing him from moving around her. The elf stopped short and gave a small bow before backing up clearly knowing he couldn't fool her. "I ask that you return back down the mountain." He said as he back up. Andromeda snorted.

"Like that would happen." She replied back after her snort. The other elves were tense now, seeing that they couldn't push this warrior about. But the way he moved dictated it was a women under the armor, and one that clearly wasn't someone who liked being pushed around. They were elves, they wouldn't dare hurt a woman, they were life givers, and in this case a taker as well if they weren't careful.

Sorry it was short but it is an update.
