Angelique Litanya Silva sat downstairs in the cafeteria drinking a cup of coffee. She never felt so humiliated and alone. The atmosphere had gotten worse when their parents showed up. They wanted answers on everything with Seiya and Serena. The guys mother was on the phone with a PR agent trying to sort everything out while their father was scolding him like he was a child. She had tried to introduce herself to them but they weren't really interested in her. To them she was just a mistress that they now needed to pay off and silence. They wanted a blood test done on her sweet Gabbie before they ALLOWED Seiya to continue spending time with them. She was beyond angry and hurt.

Darien had offered to bring her downstairs for coffee and apologized for his parents. She knew now she really should've listened to her mother but she couldn't change anything. She made her bed and she had to lay in it. She was done with Seiya as well. According to Seiya's parents they were working with their lawyers to make sure she didn't get anything out of Seiya or them. She understood where they were coming from. From their point of view she was nothing but a gold digger but that was her. She came from nothing and was okay with going back to where she came from. Seiya barely spoke up for her but he tried to let them know he knew for a fact Gabbie was his and that he would take care of them regardless.

She wasn't so sure about what he said but she knew she couldn't go back up stairs to that room. She saw the pity in Serena's eyes and she didn't need anyone's pity. Serena was beautiful and delicate. She looked like she needed someone to save her but she was the opposite. She was strong and unbending. She wished in another life when they weren't in this mess they could have been friends.

"Are you alright?" Darien asked her quietly.

She looked up from her now cup of cold coffee and smiled sadly.

"Thank you but I'll be okay eventually. I just need to figure out what's going to happen to myself and my child. We don't have a lawyer to go up against your family."

Darien rubbed his eyes he was really tired. They had been at the hospital for hours. He was grateful for their parents for dealing with Seiya but not for the treatment of Angelique. He had good eye for character judgment and his gut told him she wasn't a fraud. She was just a young girl who had fallen in love with one of her idols.

"Don't worry about anything. I honestly think you should go home and get some rest. Seiya will take care of you and Gabrielle for sure. If not I'll make sure you girls don't want for anything. Regardless of our parents. We take care of our own. I'll set up a savings account for your daughter for her future and make sure you guys are good." He reassured her.

She pushed her cup of coffee away and frowned.

"You sound like you are trying to pay me off like your parents" She accused, " I appreciate your generosity. If you want to do anything for my child that's fine but nothing else."

Darien could tell she as very proud. He admired her for it.

"I'm not trying to. I just want to help you but either way it's for another day to worry about. You want me to take you home?"

She smiled gratefully and shook her head.

"No thanks, I'll find my way. Why don't you go upstairs and check on Serena. I'll be fine." She said softly.

He pushed back from the table and stretched. Angelique eyes roamed over him. He was a catch. If he was at all interested in Serena and Seiya accused, she was lucky.

"Have a good night Angelique." He murmured.

"Call me Lita. My family calls me Lita. Angelique is so formal." She offered.

"Well good night Lita" he said warmly.

"Good Night Mr. Chiba"

"It's Darien. We're family" he said ruffling her hair before leaving the cafeteria.

She waited until he was out of sight before reaching into her jacket pocket. She pulled out the simple business card and smiled. She grabbed her cell phone and dialed the number on the card. She wasn't sure if she'd get an answer.

"Hello"

"Hi Andrew? It's Angelique….I was wondering if you were free.."
