"Hey Shiori... what's your sister's favorite color?"

"Why would I know that Tenma?... And I think it's pink, why a tomboy like her likes pink is beyond me," Shiori rolled his eyes behind their lids, trying to get more comfortable in the grass he was laying in.

Both ten year olds were currently bored out of their minds on this mild April morning. There weren't any missions scheduled do to the academy graduation that was happening in a few days, so the boys had nothing to do; so they decided to take up one of their sensei's favorite past times and watch clouds float by. But for Tenma, who was borderline ADD, the quiet peace didn't last long, and now he was bugging the Uchiha.

"What's her favorite food?"

"I don't know, what's with all the questions about my sister huh?"

"It's nothing, I was just thinking because her birthday is coming up, and we need to buy her something."

"Who's 'we'? She's my sister and loving her is enough... and you don't have any money!"

"I could get some from my mom!"

"Oh yeah, she's going to give you some; you'd probably buy ramen with it."

"I would not!"

Shiori sat up and glared at his best friend, "Every time you get money, you're at Ichiraku with in minutes... I think you're there more than your dad!"

"Whatever, if I had money this time I would buy Setsumi a present for her birthday!" Not liking the way Shiori towered over him like he was, it was bad enough the boy was alrady a foot taller than him in height to begin with, Tenma jumped up off the ground to glare at the dark haired boy.

"Why do you care!?"

"BECAUSE I LIKE YOU SISTER!"

Not even the birds were chirping after the blonde's emotional outbrust, and Tenma realized his mistake when he was face to face with the sharingan.

"What... did... you... JUST SAY!?"

Note: Shiori doesn't seem to like the fact that his best friend likes his baby sister... what would the girl in question like about this; or better yet... what would her father think?
