I was feeling random. XP

Disclaimer: I don't own Danny Phantom.

The halfa was a teenager. The halfa had two best friends. The halfa kept the balance between life and death. The halfa was strong. The halfa had improved with every fight. The halfa never gave up. The halfa was stubborn to the point of being downright annoying. The halfa was brave.

The halfa was paranoid.

"I'm telling you. Lancer knows," Danny hissed. He looked around warily, too tense to enjoy the cafeteria food on his plate.

"He doesn't. Phantom and Fenton are too different," Tucker dismissed the idea and continued to inhale his food.

"Anyway, the whole town hasn't figured it out for two years. They won't just make the connection out of the blue," Sam reasoned.

"He saw me transform," Danny argued.

"No, he saw a white ring around Phantom," Sam corrected.

"He said 'Fenton'."

"We heard him say 'Phantom?'. He has no idea you're both the same person."

"Maybe he knows. He looked at me extra long during English. He knows." Danny was panicking, "Lancer's going to tell my parents and my parents are going to tear me apart, chew my head off, chop and dice me up…

"Danny, snap out of it!" Sam wanted to grab his shoulders and shake some sense into him.

"He didn't even give me any detention. That's not normal!"

Sam rolled her eyes.

"That's because you didn't do anything wrong," she pointed out.

"He knows. I know it." Danny's blue eyes were wide.

Sam sighed. Skulker's "Frazzle Powder" was still in effect. Until it finally wears off, she and Tucker would have to deal with a paranoid, panicky, jittery teenage boy. She could do this. Danny had only been pestering them since yesterday.

If he didn't stop soon, she was going to snap.

"Lancer didn't say anything," Sam said.

"He can be plotting the worst way to tell me that he knows," Danny said as he looked around nervously.

"That's possible," Tucker pointed out, "Hey, are you going to eat that?"

"See, Tucker says that it's possible." Danny couldn't even stay still.

Sam gave Tucker a glare.

"What?" Tucker raised his hands, "You don't have to believe me."

"Lancer knows." Danny buried his head under his arms.

"He doesn't," Sam tried to persuade him.

"He does. He's going to make my life unbearable," Danny moaned.

Her patience had run out. Things had gone on for too long. She was going to end it for the sake of her sanity.

Sam rose to her feet.

"Hey, everyone!" she yelled.

Heads turned toward the goth.

"Danny is Inviso-Bill," Sam announced.

First, there was silence, as those who heard her processed what she had said; then, laughter, as their mind realized how crazy it sounded.

"Yeah right."

"Fenturn is Phantom? In your dreams."

"Such a geek."

"Get some muscles first."

Sam sat down.

"See? They don't believe it even though I yelled that at their face," Sam said.

Danny didn't say anything, but she could see that he had calmed down somewhat.

He was sure he had seen Mr. Fenton before that flash, but how? It wasn't possible. He had checked the area after Phantom left, but his student was no where to be found.

"Hey, everyone!"

Was that Miss Manson?

"Danny is Inviso-Bill."

Lancer froze in the middle of the hallway.

The sentence echoed in his head. As absurd as it sounded, it actually explained what he saw. He had seen Mr. Fenton right the place where Phantom appeared. Now that he had verbal confirmation, he could remember the white rings washing over his charge that his subconscious mind had suppressed. He had full faith in Miss Manson's declaration. She wasn't one to lie without reason.

Except about her relationship with Mr. Fenton, but that was more of denial than truly lying.

The implication of his latest revelation hit Lancer like a tidal wave.

"Lord of the Rings!"
