Disclaimer: I, Artsysmiles, am kinda surprised that I'm uploading a story after all this time. And I own an Itachi plushie!!! That is all.

Here's a oneshot. It's a Naruto one, of course. But I'ma let you guys figure out who exactly is crying in the cememtery. Oh, and the song doesn't really have anything to do with the story; it's just a really pretty song. It's the Dark Waltz by Hayley Westerna. Listen to it after you read my pitiful attempt at tragedy.

One by one, pale pink Sakura petals dropped onto the cold, frozen ground. It was January, so seeing the flower in bloom was a rarity in itself. But nonetheless, the petals kept falling onto the earth. They were satiny to the touch, and were dirtied easily. The petals that were already on the ground now had a slight brown look to them, but it did nothing to take away from their beauty.

We are the lucky ones
We shine like a thousand suns
When all of the colour runs together

A small, delicate hand plucked another petal from the blossom before slowly dropping it to the ground. And another, and another, and another until the hand held only a stem. She remembered the sun, laughter, and blonde, sun kissed hair.

I'll keep you company
In one glorious harmony
Waltzing with destiny forever

The small frame of the woman shivered as a gust of cold wind ripped through the body. "I'm so cold," she whispered. "So, so cold…" She ran a hand through her dark, midnight black hair. Her fingers caught in the knots.

Dance me into the night
Underneath the moon shining so bright
Turning me into the light

Her eyes closed, and a tear ran down her cheek as she remembered better days, from before she was alone, before she grew Sakura blossoms only to kill them in the cold. "And I'm so lonely," she cried. She lifted her hand and felt her tear turn to ice under her touch.

Time dances whirling past
I gaze through the looking glass
And feel just beyond my grasp is heaven

She didn't get a reply, only the wind whistled by her, blowing her long hair around her.

Sacred geometry
Where movement is poetry
Visions of you and me forever

Maybe she'd be warmer if she wasn't wearing a summer kimono. Or if she had actually bothered to bring a jacket with her on her trek to the cemetery. But if she had thought to do all those things, then she wouldn't be standing alone, in the cemetery, in the middle of a January night.

Dance me into the night
Underneath the moon shining so bright
Turning me into the light

Dance me into the night
Underneath the moon shining so bright
Let the dark waltz begin
Oh let me wheel - let me spin
Let it take me again
Turning me into the light

Because if she had thought to do all those things, then perhaps her wedding would have gone smoothly, her blonde haired prince wouldn't be unhappy, and she wouldn't be standing in the middle of the cemetery, crying in front of her own grave.

So...if you guys actually decide to review (which I would really recommend *hinhint*), ask your questions - if there are any - there, and then if you ask questions, I'll answer them in a reply. Review, flame, critique, whatever. Just drop me an idea on shit. Buh-bye!!
